Today, a new 7 Summits Club group gathered in Mendoza, Argentina. We checked our gear, rented what was missed, and bought some extra supplies. We slept well after the challenging flight to Argentina. Tomorrow, we'll receive our permits and head out to Aconcagua National Park. This evening, we got to know each other better over dinner. Upon arrival in the city, we checked our gear, strolled around the city center, and then went to a local restaurant for lunch to get to know each other better and discuss our team's plans. Greetings from sunny Argentina, or more precisely, from the slopes of Aconcagua! Today, our super group ascended to our high-altitude camp, Nido de Condores (5,500 meters), a 1,200-meter vertical gain. The group accomplished their mission brilliantly. In five and a half hours, we reached camp, where tents were already pitched and boiling water was ready, carefully prepared by Valery Myasoedov. Thanks to his efforts, our camps are always tidy and comfortable. Group guides: Dmitry Semenov and Georgy Bushuev.

Greetings from the south! We took a walk today while you were still awake. The planned acclimatization day and the work on the fixed ropes toward the assault camp were completed perfectly. Part of the team went with supplies to the High camp, dug out the supplies, and prepared sites for setting up the kitchen and tents. Now everyone is back at the Low camp, resting, digesting the delicious lunch soup, and it looks like everyone is skipping dinner—they found the soup.
Tomorrow is a well-deserved rest day, but something tells me we can't do without a local walk around the area.
