Ludmila Korobeshko sent us some pictures from the main part of the Uganda expedition. Climb of the Margheritta Peak and Bwani gorilla safari:

January, 3th a traditional expedition of the 7 Summits Club to Aconcagua started. Eight participants led by a guide of 7 Summits Club Vladimir Kotlyar are going to climb the highest peak in the Americas and the Southern Hemisphere. While all goes according to plan. Today, the group must come to the base camp Plaza de Mulas. All participants (and guide) are cheerful, happy, send greetings and congratulations on Orthodox Christmas!

Seven Summits Club, hello! This is Dima Ermakov from Antarctica. Today we all went to the top of Vinson Massif. The weather was beautiful, there was almost no wind. So everyone is happy and satisfied. The ascent was not easy, but we made it. We can congratulate Igor Kadochin - he completed the project Seven Summits. And all the other participants with another victory on the way to doing this project ... We're all okay. Tomorrow we plan to go down. Now we will spend a night in High camp.

Jubilee expedition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the 7 Summits Club President Alex Abramov started yet the end of last year. January, 31th a guide 7 Summits Club Sergei Larin arrived in Chile. He started preparing food and other things needed for the expedition. Alexander Abramov arrived in Chile on January, 2th and also was involved in preparations for the arrival of the main group. Today, the 3rd of January in Chile begin to arrive all other members of the expedition. Who is from where. Who from Moscow, who from Samara, who from Irkutsk, who from Khanty-Mansiysk, who from Antarctica after climbing Vinson. At this time in the team 9 members (2 women and 7 men), here is a list of participants:

If all goes well, the summit attempt will be made on the birthday celebrant - 16 January. If successful at Ojos Alexander Abramov complete the 7 Volcanoes program.

Seven Summits, hello! Dima Ermakov from the Vinson base camp. Yesterday evening, January 2, we came here from Union glaciers. The weather is beautiful. Today, January 3, we'll come at Lowe's camp. Hello! This is Ludmila Korobeshko from the 7 Summits Club expedition to Uganda... We are now at the top of Uganda, on the summit of Margherita Peak, at 5109 meters. Now here we are: Nadejda Voskresenskaya, to which we decided to give a medal for perseverance and courage, and bravery too. Then Dmitry Mokhnachev and Victor Serov. And another one of our friend, Anton Zelin remained in the assault camp, for health reasons. In general, everyone is happy, though very tired. Because actually the climb was rather difficult.

Seven Summits Club, Hello! This Andrey Filkov from the camp Union Glacier, from Antarctica. Today, December 31,  the local time is still 18 hours 48 minutes. Here we come together: the team of climbers from the expedition on Sidley, which has just ended, and the expedition to Vinson, which is still held under the leadership of Dima Ermakov. We are gathered here today to celebrate the New Year, which was going along our great country ... We started to celebrate at 10 am local time, when the New Year has come to the Far East. And we continue, passing the cities of our country Russia.
