Alexander Abramov  from Manaslu slopes: Hello! Today at 7-30 in the morning on the Nepalese time, the first group of  the 7 Summits Club, all 12 people, has climbed on Manaslu's top. These are six Sherpas plus Sergey Larin (Head), Volodya Kotlyar, Artem Rostovtsev, Karina Mezova, Alexey Safonov and Vasily Shakhnovsky. All together!  Now they begin descent. Let's not congratulate yet, we will congratulate in the base camp. The second team is climbing up under the leadership of Abramov Alexander. They are Igor Smirnov, Zigmunt Berdychovsky and two Sherpas - now they leave the third camp for  the fourth camp, they go towards to the first team and at night they will make a summit bid. So far the weather (fie, fie, fie) is ideal. All, bye!

Our Iranian friends sent us this video, a small film that is almost fully illustrates our climbing pregram on the highest volcano of Asia is mount Damavand (5 671 m).

In 4 minutes you can plunge into the atmosphere of this mountain and take a virtual climb to the highest summit of Iran.

The film was shot by our friend, he is Hamid Shafaghi - one of the strongest climbers of the country and the most experienced guide. He's mastered the shooting with the drone, and the music picked up exceptionally well...

About the route:

It's not the easy trekking that requires participants ' constant attention, endurance and willpower. The difficulties of the route brightens stunning views, the smells and the opportunity to experience an extremely pure, however, and the unusually cold water of the mountain river.

About the team:

We went this route in 6 hours and 15 minutes, instead of the usual 7-8 hours mentioned in the guide books. Given that the team had people with different physical training, I think this is a decent result, to fully characterize how the command itself and each of its participants!

At the end of this trip, at the last dinner, I absolutely truly said that with great pleasure the next time you go to any, even the most difficult journey  all together, and with each team member individually!

The secret plan of the ascent is made up. Yesterday Andrei Volkov, Andrey Mareyev and Roman Bryk joined us. They plan to climb Manaslu without oxygen. So, now we have 3 teams. Today the first team of 6 members and 6 Sherpas went to the ascent. Plan: today - camp 1. Tomorrow - Camp 3. The day after tomorrow - Camp 4 and at night – a summit bid. Everyone climbs with oxygen. The group is headed by Sergey Larin.  With guides Volodya Kotlyar and Artem Rostovtsev. The second group goes the same way with one day of displacement. 2 members, one guide (Abramov) and 2 Sherpa.

Today the first group was seeing off.

The weather is damp at the bottom. The first group is already in camp 1. They say there is a sun. Tomorrow we will go to the sun!

Climbing the mountain Koshka in Simeiz! Lena Tomilina and Natasha Kartashova was photographed at the route "Ant hill". Tomilin Dima with Sasha Marinkevich were at this time on the Tooth-Rock under Shan-Kaya. They made the descent on the rope from  the Tooth-Rock!

"Well, we have made the first step into the adult climbing. And though we are only 5 years old, my mother and I climbed to the top of the Breithorn, more than  four thousand meters. And there was a old man who led me on a rope. And even the flag of 7 summits Club was raised!

We have endured 2 days of continuous rain in comfortable conditions of the base camp,  with pleasure. We have given training classes in the oxygen equipment. And also we played guitar, dried things.

Today there is a starlit night.

We hope for good weather tomorrow. We will dry up everything and the day after tomorrow we leave on a summit assault…

A corporate group of the Forex Time company has begun the travel across Greece.

Who gets up early and walks in the monastery Grandee Meteora, that be in turn is not necessary!!! About 300 meters of ascent and tremendous views! Now we move to Litokhoro, our climb of Mount  Olympus starts  tomorrow!

Expedition news "Manaslu 2017 – 7 Summits Club".

In the last 3 days our team finished acclimatization. Knowing that bad weather begins from the evening of 20th of September and in 3 days more than 1 meter of snow will drop out, our team has carried out by accelerated tempo acclimatization. We have spent  a night on the notorious Camp 2, at 6300 m which has claimed the lives of 22 people in 2008. We spent a night with avalanche equipment in tents. Also we have estimated way from the Camp 1 to the Camp 2 as very dangerous. It passes on icefall where places through cracks have thrown ladders. Now we have an evening. In the base camp there is pouring rain. We pray for snow because  it is not so wet...

Immediately 2 groups of the 7 Summits Club performed a successful ascent on the roof of Africa - Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m).

11 participants out of 12 climbed to the highest point of the massif, which is called the Uhuru peak (which means "freedom" in Swahili). And one another of our climbers was able to climb to the edge of the crater to the key height of Stella Point.

 Congratulations to all climbers with the summit!

Today there was a day of rest for members of our expedition. Tomorrow we are going for acclimatization to Camp 2. This is at 6400m. And today we conducted exercises on search in an avalanche with the use of avalanche sensors. Sergei Larin presented the theory and conducted practical training. Members found all the hidden sensors. The fact is that Camp 2 is in an avalanche place. In 2008, 22 people died there from an avalanche. In 2012 - 16. Therefore, all climbers will sleep with avalanche sensors with snow probes and shovels in the tent.

Today our team went down from the first outing to the camp 1, located at the altitude of 5600m. Road to camp is going along an open glacier, completely broken. But everywhere are fixed ropes. The overnight in the camp 1 was successful. The camp is very comfortable and safe. The camp has a large kitchen and dining tents with tables and chairs. In the morning the people were in euphoria, all stood on the ears. The mood of the team is excellent. The next day we go to camp 2 at 6400 m, to acclimatize. Everything is fine. All people are healthy and vigorous. The weather is perfect.

News from Iran. Tatiana Kamaeva climbed today to the highest volcano of Asia and the highest point of Iran's Mount Damavand (5671 m). It was her  the first ever climb a mountain! Tears of joy, euphoria and emotions covered on  the top!!! CONGRATULATIONS! KEEP IT UP!

Today there was the first really Sunny day. We saw the summit of Manaslu!!!  We decided to conduct the ice training. Also members of the expedition prepared  to leave we did the gear check. Early tomorrow morning we're going for to the Camp 1. All people are fed and healthy. In the evenings, the menu includes French wine and cheese.

After that there is excellent sleep. )))

Today there  was a  nightmare night.  Wet snow  knocked down tents, broken the tent where Sherpas live, broken tent-sauna. Dr. Larin’s tent collapsed and crushed him with snow, so he thought that is an avalanche. All night we spentt, knocking the snow from  inside, dumping snow and save tents from destruction.

In the morning it was raining. But after breakfast  the sun was out and we were able to organize the Puja - opening  ceremony of the base camp. The tents are all restored. Our camp is a very comfortable. Tomorrow we will have training on ice. The next day - the first exit to the camp 1.
