  The second in this season group of the 7 Summits Club reached the summit of the highest volcano in Asia Mount Damavand (5671 m). The ascent was made in harsh conditions, which are not typical for this time of year.  Instead of fields of flowers and trodden paths, the group had to climb by snow-covered slopes in strong winds under unexpected conditions.

  But they did it!

  In addition to the mountains,  our team tried to plunge, as time allowed, in the color of Iran.  They went up to the TV tower of Tehran, which offers a panorama of the whole city.  They drove to the ancient cave settlement, visited the healing thermal springs at the foot of Damavand.

 The session of the Mountain school with Artem Andrienko has been successfully completed.  First time the  route "Mishorsky grottes" was climbed completely from bottom to the top! There are 16 pitches of the most beautiful route of the Crimea! These are: traverses over the precipice, cave labyrinths, limestone arches and at the end - a great trekking through the Crimean forest!

Catherine Tabula climbed to the top of Kilimanjaro on 11 June 2018. She traveled the 7 Summits Club program, the so-called" short version", that is, on the route of Marangu. And she was the only member

The weather during the assault was great! Not a cloud! The top of Kilimanjaro and the panorama around it opened in all its beauty! Catherine rose above the clouds!  The rain caught her below, on the descent to the gate of the national Park after Horombo.

Today at two o'clock in the morning the group "Three parts of the world" started on ascent. We reached the Western summit of Elbrus in the early morning, in fine weather and in a good mood…

We finally moved up to the high camp. The weather here in the mountains is like the weather in mountains. For 20 minutes, the temperature can change from plus twenty to minus twenty. But we have learned to exist in these conditions. Moving and arrangement of the camp - this is our work. We all like it very much. Some members even hope to lose weight. ... Plans...to take a little rest and move higher. The summit is waiting.

 Today the team of the 7 Summit Club climbed the top of Mount Elbrus. Three members walked from the refuge at 3800 and one among them was unable to reach the summit. Other climbers rode on the snowmobile and all is well got up the top. Now we are at 5100, soon we will go down below. And today we are going to descend completely to thу Terskol Village. Dmitry Ermakov, a guide of  the 7 Summits Club: a Group of "No name" continues to climb the Mount of Elbrus. Yesterday we walked to Pastukhov Rocks, where we had snow-ice classes. Today we rest. Part of the group went down to the barbecue diet, part prefers of the rest here at the shelter. Tonight we go out to storm the summit.

Today on June 11th at 10 am, in terrible weather visibility 20-30 m, snow and strong wind, Alexander Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko climbed to the top of the highest volcano in Asia - Damavand 5671m.

Damavand surprise us. Personally, I was counting on a simple trekking along a rocky path (as everyone who was there in the summer told) in single-layer shoes and light jackets. The result: we put crampons in a shelter on 4200, walked all the way through the deep snow, in some places falling almost to the waist, our hands were freezing even in warm gloves, we almost had frozen noses. The visibility was 5-10 meters. It's good that we had a local guide - Hamid. Without him, we would have lost. And even with him a couple of times we almost decided to turn. The only thing that stopped us was that the forecast for the next day which  was even worse. But going down by fresh snow was convenient and fast:))) Conclusion – there is no warm mountains. It is better always take a stock of warm clothes! And crampons!

The race for the volcanoes! Now Luda Korobeshko went to Iran to climb the Demavent. Luda wants to finish the project of 7 volcanoes and become the first woman to make  7 Summits plus 7 volcanoes programs.  Climber on 7 + 7 Alexander Abramov  (and her husband) will help her!

Denali 2018. The team is in full combat readiness (low start) before leaving for the glacier Kahiltna. We fly fed, equipped - in white snow fields. For the first couple of days, the weather is not very good, but we will be on top. So there is no reason to worry.

Mikhail Kornev, a member of the group: the Rangers were tortured with instructions. Nothing can be done, their mountain - their rules.

We leave in three hours. Our team is excellent, the mood is great.

Our Denali expedition started. Yesterday, late in the evening, our entire Russian-Brazilian group finally gathered in Anchorage.  By the night we managed to recover, shake up the equipment, plan the morning purchases. This morning we are already moving towards our goal - Denali. We take radio with us to listen to football broadcasts.

 Guide of the 7 Summits Club Andrey Berezin: Hello to everyone from the group "Smarts and Beauty"! Today we have a rest day and we descended to the height of 3,700 meters, in the Barrels shelter. We went to a cafe to have tea, play backgammon. Tomorrow we have a summit climb, so we rest and gain strength.

Today, the group "Smarts and Beauty" under the guidance of Andrei Berezin have climbed for acclimatization to the Pastukhov Rocks. After 12 o'clock in the afternoon the wind increased to 30 km / h and a small snowfall began. It is a pity that there were no opportunities to see the beautiful views of the Caucasian Range.

 Today, the group "Smarts and beautiful" went to the shelter.  After a delicious lunch, which was prepared by our wonderful cook Zulya, we had snow-ice classes and visited the obelisk of the dead climbers.

Today, the group of Andrei Berezin climb to Cheget mountain. They took some great pictures there. The weather was nice downstairs. And on the slopes of Elbrus it was cool and there was no sun. Our Brazilian group went up to the shelter. Training on the technique of movement in the snow were carried out in the fog. We hope that the weather will be good!

The 7 Summits Club guide Sergey Avtomonov: We with a new group of Brazilians started acclimatization before climbing Elbrus. Today we went up to the upper station of the cable car on Cheget. All participants feel good and ready to continue the program!
