Natalia Kartashova, head of the Mountain school of the 7 Summits Club in the Crimea:

Our guests in Crimea successfully completed a three-day course on the basics of technical mountaineering. They learned how to knit knots, how to move on fixed ropes, got acquainted with the basic techniques of climbing vertical rocks. Two ascents were completed in three days - a great result!  On the second day – members climbed Mount Koshka. At the end they passed the route "Surprise" of the 2nd category of difficulty  on the steep face of Merdven-Kaya.

Yesterday, the practical part of the joint project of blogger Oleg Maksimov and the 7 Summits Club "Way to Everest" began. Oleg came to the Elbrus region, and together with partners by the group has started to acclimatization, under the guidance of Andrey Berezin.

 The group, which was named  “Vegetable Salad with Tuna", began an acclimatization rotation on the slopes of mount Cheget. The weather today allowed us to see Elbrus, on the slopes of which we are moving tomorrow.

Roman Venediktov together with ф guide of the 7 Summits Club at 6.25 am  was on top of Mont Blanc. The second member of the blitz program, who due to health (too short acclimatization) was recommended a lower object, also was not left without a summit.  The replacement of Mont Blanc was found on the Italian side of Mont Blanc. Good weather favored all climbers today.

 Today cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko with the company goes for acclimatization of the White Valley traverse. Their group moved through the tunnel to Italy, where they rose to the station Helbronner on the cable car. From there they went to the hut Cosmique, at the foot of which held snow and ice classes.

Today, a large group of climbers of the 7 Summits Club under the leadership of Ivan Trofimovich Dusharin went up for the night at the shelter weather Station. This is the starting point of the ascent to the famous Caucasian peak Kazbek. The weather is good, the participants feel great, everything is fine!
