The ALE team arrived in the Sidley Volcano area on Monday, January 13th. However, weather conditions did not allow to begin  climbing in the first three days.

Hi Seven Summits! This is Artyom Rostovtsev. We arrived at High Camp about forty minutes ago. The weather is excellent, there is no wind. But tomorrow we will not go to the top. Because we don’t need it anymore, we were there today. And now we went down to the assault camp. And tomorrow, our direction will be only down. Even we hope to fly to Union Glacier on the same day. Hi Seven Summits! Happy Old New Year to all! Who can hear us. This is Artyom Rostovtsev from Antarctica. We have a new group, the Vinson program, the third in a row. Today we advanced towards Low Camp. Great pace, unusually fast. The weather is favorable, we hope that the same weather will be until the day of our ascent. Everything is fine with us, we eat well. Hello from sunny Argentina! The New Years 7 Summits Club group (5 members and 3 guides) climbed to the top of  Mount Aconcagua, at 12.45 local time. The weather was surprisingly beautiful, in contrast to the forecast. Today we are already resting at the Plaza de Mulas Base Camp. Tomorrow we go down to Mendoza. Hi, Seven Summits from the Extreme South! This is Artyom Rostovtsev, Massif Vinson Base Camp. We started with the third expedition of the 7 Summits Club on Mount Vinson. Today, members of the second group flew away to Union Glacier. Now they are in civilized conditions and will soon fly to Punta Arenas. Well, we are starting our third expedition. The members have already arrived, settled down, slightly adapted in the base camp. Tomorrow we plan to move to Low Camp. The weather is great, sunny. Ìembers feels - as it should be for a height of 5200 meters. We will be acclimatized. To the next camp of Tejos, at 5800, at the moment the cars are passing by. Alex Abramov from Argentina: Two days of rest passed quickly. We visited the artist Miguel and he gifted one of his paintings to our cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko. And today, Nims and his friends came to visit us. Also, our new large group, 12 members and 3 guides, came up from below.

 Tomorrow, January 10th, we go on an ascent. The weather is so-so, a strong wind, but the snow has stopped falling.

The third group of the 7 Summits Club with a guide Alexander Dorojukov yesterday went from the Confluencia camp to Plaza Francia. It was an acclimatization ratation. Today they came to the Base Camp. March was really difficult, but everyone coped. Three days there was bad weather, now the situation has improved.

 A special group of the 7 Summits Club with the guides Egorov and Kotlyar arrived at the base camp a day earlier. Today they explored the surroundings of Plaza de Mulas. In the morning they went to the glacier, and after lunch they climbed bouldering. Perhaps this is the highest bouldering area in the world! The mood is good, the appetite is good, acclimatization continues.
