The Elbrus climbing season is not over yet. Two small groups of the 7 Summits Club with guides Andrey Berezin and Alexander Avtomonov climbed the Pastukhov Rocks to a height of 5000 meters. Thus, they completed the acclimatization rotation before attempting the climb Western Peak of Mount Elbrus.

Greetings from the Elbrus region from the 7 Summits Club group "Mountain Lovers"! Today we climbed the Western Peak of Mount Elbrus. We used a spare day for this, as the previous day there was a strong wind forecast. We didn't regret it for a second. Andrey Berezin, guide of the 7 Summits Club from the Elbrus region: The new group of the 7 Summits Club started acclimatization rotation and preparation for the ascent on Elbrus. Today we visited Donguzorun Lake. Autumn in the Elbrus region is beautiful: warm weather, bright colors, and even a blooming rhododendron. Tomorrow we go up to the Refuge National Park, in the zone of ice and snow.

Crimea Mountain school of the 7 Summits Club presents the longest multi-pitch route on the rocks of Crimea! This STK line consists of 37 pitches on the famous mountain climbing face of Mount AI-Petri! Olya and Anya heroically climbed to the top, climbing was up to 6b category of difficulty. Hello! This is Boris Yegorov, the guide of group with news from the Elbrus region. Today, our team of old friends of the 7 Summits Club climbed the highest point of Europe, Mount Elbrus. The forecast for the day of ascent was so-so. But we were lucky, it was not true, it was calm and a lot of sun! Hurray!

The team "Eleven friends of Vera" climbed Mount Ararat. All 11 friends reached the highest point. The weather was not pleasant. The trail was covered in ice. Plus there was a strong wind. All people did a good job. On the descent, we were covered in fog. But it ended well! Everyone is happy to win and celebrate success!

Alexander Abramov, President of the 7 Summits Club and guide of the group from Turkey: Yesterday the group arrived in Van. The expedition of the 7 Summits Club has 12 members. Today, our team reached the Base camp of Ararat at an altitude of 3300m.

One member didn't get his luggage. And we should stay in Van until noon to buy equipment. And only at 9 PM in the dark we got to the tents in the base camp. We were waiting for a delicious dinner. The evening was a success. Tomorrow - acclimatization rotation on 4200!

Andrey Berezin, a guide of the 7 Summits Club from Elbrus region: News of the group "Crazy Beetles". Summit! Today we climbed the Western peak of Elbrus. The weather forecast was half justified: instead of the bright sun, a cloud "settled" on the top of Elbrus. That's why we didn't get to see the usual colorful panoramas. But even in the "cloud"  it was cool.

On September 16, a large group of the 7 Summits Club expedition led by Alexander Abramov reached the summit of Mount Ararat. Wonderful climb, great group!

A 7 Summits Guide guide Artem Rostovtsev:  The group climbed to the top without fuss, but quickly. Unfortunately, not in full force, but there were objective reasons for this. We are already going down to the long-awaited green Baksan valley, where we will loudly say the previously forbidden in our group word: "CHACHA"! (Georgian authentic strong drink, a clear and strong, 40-65%).

Today our team "Turkish Gambit" - all 26 people - climbed the summit of Mount Ararat. Now we all went down to the base camp and celebrate our victory.

Today, a group with a guide Artem Rostovtsev went up to the refuge “National Park” and went to the slopes of Elbrus. On the next cycle of acclimatization rotation they went up to the Leaprus refuge. In this group, the famous Kazakh mountaineer Maksut Zhumayev also works as a personal guide for one of the members. The second group led by the chief guide of the 7 Summits Clubs on Elbrus Club Andrey Berezin started its program a day later. They spent the first day on the slopes of Mount Cheget.

Lyudmila Korobeshko from Turkey:  Greetings from the slopes of Ararat from the Turkish Gambit team! Our large group (26 people) climbed to acclimatize to the height of 4200. We walked for less than 4 hours from 3300 to 4200, it is good speed! On the way, you can see wonderful views of Little Ararat. We spent 40 minutes in the assault camp on 4200. There we drank tea and ran down to the delicious Turkish soup and Oriental sweets. We're resting now. In a couple of hours, according to the plan, there will be roast lamb and a continuation of yesterday's Banquet. It was the Grand opening of the new camp of the 7 Summits Club on Ararat.

Tomorrow we move with things on 4200 and in the same night we go to storm the summit.

Today, two groups of the 7 Summits Club reached the top of Elbrus. Andrei Berezin and Alexander Dorogunov were there as guides. The climbers were very lucky with the weather. It was a very beautiful dawn, a light breeze and amazing colors of the sky that can not be conveyed in the photo. Early autumn brings stable and beautiful weather, and the summit offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks and plains. The season on Elbrus continues.

Director of the 7 Summits Club Lyudmila Korobeshko and guide Sergey Avtonomov completed their mission to set up a base camp for a large group that is coming tomorrow. The Club President Alex Abramov personally checked the readiness of the camp. The weather on Ararat is excellent, we hope for a successful ascent. Tomorrow - group meeting in Van.

News from Kazbek: Yesterday, September 10, a group of the 7 Summits Club climbed on the top of Mount Kazbek (5033 m). Ekaterina and Nadezhda reached the highest point, congratulations on their well-deserved and difficult victory! Julia heroically went to the assault, but she had to return because of health problems. The whole group went down to the intermediate camp at 3500 yesterday, today they continue their descent and plan to spend the night at the base camp at Karmadon springs.

Now two groups of the 7 Summits Club are on the slopes of Elbrus and are preparing to storm the summit. Today they climbed to a height of 5000 meters to the Pastukhov Rocks. By this the acclimatization rotation was completed. Tomorrow, both groups will rest and prepare for a summit assault. Guides of the groups: Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov.

In fact, the Nepalese leadership has different opinions about quarantine measures, and it is possible that we will receive encouraging news from Kathmandu in the near future. There are already exceptions to the rules (the Qatari expedition on Manaslu) and we hope that our authority earned over the years will allow us to claim for the same as well. Now the 7 Summits Club is actively negotiating with the Embassy of Nepal in Russia to get permission to organize an expedition on Manaslu. We are also waiting for the borders to open in October and still recruiting groups for trekking programs. Stay with us and stay optimistic!

The "Clean mountain" campaign took place on Elbrus today. Employees of the 7 Summits Club took part in garbage collection from the mountain slopes. We collected a large amount of garbage. In addition to us, there were volunteers from various nearby cities. Elbrus has become cleaner after all. We hope that this event will become traditional.

News from the group "Challenge thrown"! Today we climbed the top of Mount Elbrus. The day was very busy: in parallel with us, Karachay horses climbed, there was climb of international military games, and a race of skyrunnners. And you must add the beautiful weather.
