Boris Egorov, guide of the 7 Summits Club: Today we had a long day. Mount Elbrus struck us with its unpredictability. We have experienced almost all weather phenomena: this is the wind, and snow, and the lack of visibility, and even the unexpectedly scorching sun on the descent. For those who ventured to reach the top, this was an additional test. But, at the same time, the difficulties made the ascent unforgettable.

So, four representatives of hot Egypt were standing today on the highest point in Europe. Now everyone has gone down to the hotel and is recuperating. Guides Boris Egorov and Kristina Putintseva.

Group guide Andrey Berezin: News of the Elbrus region. The group of the 7 Summits Club "Apricots" climbed the Pastukhov Rocks today. During the day there was a strong heat, so we needed down jackets and membrane jackets only on the rocks themselves and at rest stops. We climbed at a good pace, the group was walking briskly, like one "Apricot". Tomorrow we plan to rest and prepare for the ascent.

News from the team of Alex Abramov from Lenin Peak. On July 19, the entire team, 12 participants and 5 guides, climbed to the top of Razdelnaya 6134m. During the ascent, on a steep slope, the guide of our team, Boris Dedeshko, the owner of the Golden Ice Axe and one of the strongest climbers of Kazakhstan, saved the life of a climber from the team climbing parallel with us.

When Boris's team traversed a steep snow-ice slope at the exit to 5600m, an uncontrolled fall began from the top of the slope by a climber from a neighboring team. The slide could continue for another 200 m with a flight to a rocky area. Boris, in a jump, risking his life, stopped the fall and fixed the climber on the slope. Thank him for this act!

After spending two nights at an altitude of 5300 in order to acclimatize, our entire team yesterday, July 20, went down to rest in Camp-1 at 4400m. The weather at Lenin Peak is consistently bad. Since the beginning of the season, only 3 people have reached the top.

Greetings from Elbrus! Today, the Wild guanabana group has successfully completed the acclimatization rotation, all participants have reached the Pastukhov Rocks. The weather continues to give us so much, there was a calm on the mountain. Now we are resting and preparing for the ascent.

Andrey Berezin, guide of the 7 Summits Club: The new group began acclimatization and preparation for the ascent on Elbrus. Today we went up to the Ai cafe, which is located at the first station of the Cheget cable car. Summer has also come to the Elbrus region. Today was an unusually hot day for these places, the air temperature rose to 35 degrees. But this did not prevent us from completing the program of the day. Tomorrow we will go up to the refuge"National Park", where we will continue to acclimatize.

Greetings from Elbrus! Today, we and our guests from warm countries have climbed to the Refuge of Eleven, at an altitude of 3800. Summer is in full swing, streams flow down the slope. Boris Egorov, guide of the 7 Summits Club:  News from Elbrus. Today, finally, for the first time in two seasons, we have foreign climbers, our friends from the Wildguanabana company, as guests. It was not easy for them to get to us, but they managed. Today we have already started to acclimatize. Before lunch, we took a walk on Mount Cheget, and after that we walked along the ecological path between the Cheget glade and the Azau glade.

Artem Rostovtsev, guide of the 7 Summits Club:  Greetings from Georgia! Mount Kazbek. Refuge Meteostation, 3650m.  We are gradually moving towards the top. Yesterday we reached the hut AltiHut 3014, we did not stop there and took a walk to the glacier before dinner. Today we have already moved to the refuge Meteostation. We gained a little more acclimatization, went up to 3900m to the church and enjoyed the views. We'll continue tomorrow.

Sergey Larin, guide of the 7 Summits Club:  The group "1078", on July 17 at 7:25, climbed the highest point of Europe. We left by ratrak at 2: 00, and at 9:45 we already went down to the refuge. That is, it is proved that acclimatization when you sleep at the bottom, and during the day you go to a height, has the right to exist.  However, it is worth noting that all the participants were physically prepared. Although only one participant has been at altitude before - on Aconcagua, and the second –f or the first time in the mountains.

The results are as follows. All 7 participants and the guide drank narzan. Four participants and a guide reached the Eastern peak of Elbrus. The route on Elbrus from the North is so not simple.

The 7 Summits Club guide Nikita Slotin from Kyrgyzstan: Today was a warm sunny day. After breakfast, we went to the beginning of the route for ice classes. We checked our equipment, remembered how to walk in crampons on slopes of different steepness, how to use jumars and abseil devices, worked out the movement on the glacier. All participants feel well. The group is preparing to go to Camp-2 at an altitude of 5300 tomorrow. Guides of the group are Alexander Abramov and Nikita Slotin. The second group with the guide Vladimir Kotlyar climbed the Yukhin Peak for acclimatization on this day…

The group "Viva Elbrus" climbed the Western peak of Elbrus today.  We were pleased with the weather.  It was unusually clear and warm.  The whole group successfully descended to the hotel.  The second (VIP) group under the leadership of Sergey Larin will storm Elbrus tomorrow.

Nikita Slotin, guide of the 7 Summits Club from Pamir:  Hello to all from the first camp from a height of 4400, from the group "Hello, Muntain Fever"! We have had a slight change of plans. Today we went for a walk in the direction of Yukhin peak to the height of 4700, divided into mini-groups, in which we will later work on the mountain. The members begin to feel the height and actively undergo acclimatization! The weather is good, the sun is shining, but there is still a strong wind at Lenin Peak, which does not allow to look at the peak in all its glory.  Tomorrow we are going to the glacier, walking in crampons and practicing movement along a glacier. The second group of the 7 Summits Club with the guide Vladimir Kotlyar also stay in the camp 1.  They trained today on the glacier.

Artem Rostovtsev, a guide of the 7 Summits Club: Gamarjoba! Georgia is on the line, an expedition on Kazbek. Yesterday, the team gathered in Tbilisi and moved to Stepantsminda near Kazbek. We have equipped ourselves at the rental office, and now we are ready to go up. It remains to do the necessary PCR tests upon arrival in Georgia and the road to the top will be open.

Nikita Slotin, guide of the 7 Summits Club:  Two groups of the 7 Summits Club left the base camp today and went up to Camp 1. We loaded our belongings on horses and confidently moved towards the Travelers ' Pass. When we climbed the pass, we sent messages to our dear and beloved ones, because further communication may be unstable. We had a delicious snack, arranged a photo hunt for marmots and moved on! The picturesque trail, the huge scale of moraines and glaciers amaze the imagination. And with all this beauty, we did not even notice how we got to the camp, where we were already met by Volodya Kotlyar's group. And, of course, we appreciated the scale of the mountain!

 All participants feel well. Tomorrow, according to the plan, there will be a day of rest and preparation for going to the Second camp.

News of the Elbrus region.  The group "Viva Elbrus" climbed the Pastukhov Rocks today. We reached only  the lower rocks.   At this time, the weather began to deteriorate, a thunderstorm was beginning, so we decided to go down to the shelter.  Tomorrow, according to the plan, is a day of rest and preparation for the ascent.

 Hello to all from the Pamir from the group "Hi Mountain Fever"! Today we made an acclimatization rotation exit to the height of 4000 meters on the crest of Petrovsky peak. We admired the views of valleys, lakes and snow-white peaks, the weather was favorable for us! Everyone is in a fighting mood and ready to move on. Tomorrow we go to the First camp!
