News from Ararat. Elena Titova has conquered her first peak! This peak was Ararat (5165 m), the legendary volcano and the highest summit of Turkey. Elena sends thanks for each guide, they were very attentive! Details on the return! Now Elena is in Van , the largest city in Eastern Anatolia, resting after climbing and continues to get acquainted with local attractions.

American mountaineer, guide and organizer of Everest expeditions Garrett Madison came to Russia at the invitation of the 7 Summits Club. Today, he climbed to the top of the highest mountain in Europe, Elbrus, together with a client of his company Madison Mountaineering. Next, according to the plan, Garrett will go to Bezengi  region together with the guides of the 7 Summits Club Alexey Lonchinsky and Viktor Afanasyev. Goal: to make an ascent on our formidable five-thousand-meter DykhTau. Good luck!

The weather forecast promised a strong wind, but it did not come true and we were very lucky with this. We were promised 60 km/h, it was no more than 40-50.  The group named "American boy" has started a program of preparation and acclimatization for climbing Elbrus. Today we went to the first station of the cable car on Cheget. It has been several days since the cyclone came to the region. Therefore, the weather was overcast, periodically drizzling rain. We were ready for this, and as necessary, we were insulated and protected from precipitation with the necessary clothing in this situation. For the recommendation on equipment, a special thank you to the 7 Summits Club from the grateful participants of the ascent. Tomorrow we will go up to the refuge  National Park, where we will continue preparing for the ascent.

The group "Juan tea" used the reserve day and reached the Western peak of Elbrus. The weather forecast was not the best and was confirmed in some places.  The wind reached 50 km/h. It was difficult to climb on the final leg of the way. The guides of the group Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov coped with the task and all the group members rose to the highest point.

The group with the guide Nikita Slotin also reached the summit of Elbrus on this day.
