Hello, the 7 Summits Club! Our group began an ascent to the roof of Africa along the Machame route. Yesterday we reached the Machame camp at an altitude of 2800, but there was no communication there to convey the news. Today we are going to Shira Cave Camp. A connection broke through along the way. We hug everyone tightly!!!

 And we are closing the 2021-2022 season on Aconcagua and inviting new participants to Argentina. In order to plunge into the atmosphere of sunny Mendoza in a year and accept the challenge, still difficult and tempting, Aconcagua. Guides Sergey Avtomonov, Dmitry Semenov, Valery Myasoedov…

The decisive stage of the preparation of the Everest-22 expedition has begun. Alexander Abramov is flying to Nepal to prepare it. Now the 7 Summits Club's team has 17 participants, 4 guides and 20 high-altitude Sherpa porters. Not counting the same number of Nepalese who will work below, ensuring the life of the expedition. All this must be arranged in advance: equipment, oxygen, a team of Sherpas, permits...  This week in Kathmandu is allocated for the preparation of the expedition. In addition to the classic ascent of Mount Everest, this year there will be a team that will go up to 7000m with the passage of the Khumbu icefall. Also, in the spring season more than 10 trekking groups of the 7 Summits Club will storm the Base Camp and the surrounding mountains above 6000m.

The group "Bezbabos" has climbed the summit of Aconcagua! It was not easy, but everyone who went on the ascent was able to reach the top and return to the base camp on the day of the ascent! And now we are resting and watching a real snowfall! Helicopters do not fly, and we are resting after a difficult two days in the upper camps! Then there will be easy days of departure and packing of equipment for closing the camp! Super-guides Sergey Avtomonov, Dmitry Semenov and Valery Myasoedov!

The 7 Summits Club takes an active part in the activities of the Russian Mountaineering Federation (FAR).  In particular, we participate in the organization of traditional summing up evenings of the year. At the initiative of the President of the 7 Summits Club, a member of the FAR Board, Alexander Abramov, the ceremony of awarding the honorary badge "Summiter of Everest" is taking place at this event. It is awarded to climbers who have climbed the highest peak in the World for the first time.  The main theme of the evening will, of course, be the sporting achievements of the leading Russian climbers. But at the same time, the most important thing will remain friendly communication, the opportunity to meet old friends and see with your own eyes the stars of mountaineering past and present.

Greetings from Mexico from Lyudmila Korobeshko and the Nahui group. Today we saw amazing Mexico - we visited the main Catholic shrine of all Latin America - the Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe. The place is stunning in beauty and energy. And also visited the most famous pyramids of Mexico - Teotihuacan - pyramids of the Moon and Sun. Although this ancient city has been excavated by only 15%, the scale is amazing. From our guide to the historical places of Mexico - Natalia Pushkareva - we learned a lot of interesting things from the culture and history of Mexico. In the evening, we walked on our own through the dark streets of the center of Mexico City and - voila - we are alive, healthy and satisfied! Tomorrow we are going to the monarchs. What are the assumptions, what is it?

Jumbo! The group "Grandpa Kotlyar and Hares" from Tanzania is in touch. We continue our ascent on the highest mountain in Africa. Today we overcame the Barranco wall and reached the Karanga camp (4995). Surprisingly, this part turned out to be the most exciting for the group. Despite the fact that we are tired, the whole group is delighted with the Barranco wall. The culmination of our journey is getting closer and closer...

Greetings from Mexico from Lyudmila Korobeshko and the Nahui group! Yesterday we spent a hard night at the Orizaba Base Camp - a storm raged all night, the wind shook our tents. In the morning everything was covered with snow. And the snow continued to fall. A little sad, after lunch we went to the assault camp at 4700. The weather has not improved. The strong wind and snow continued. But the forecast promised a weakening of the wind and the end of precipitation after midnight. At one o'clock we woke up to the sounds of heavy snowfall.  We were sad, but we decided not to change our plans. At 2 am we went out to climb.  By 4 a.m., the snowfall had stopped. But not the wind. And the cold was terrible. Nevertheless, at 8 a.m. our team reached the top of the highest volcano in North America.

By lunchtime we were already in Zoapan, and now we are heading to Mexico City to continue the cultural program. Pyramids and butterflies are waiting for us.

Hello to the 7 Summits Club! Our team continues climbing. We climbed the Lava Tower! There we had lunch and go on to the Baranko camp. Everyone is fine, the mood is fighting, even the rain does not spoil it.

Sergey Avtomonov, Guide of the 7 Summits Club, from Argentina: The Bezbabos group returned today after acclimatization in high-altitude camps. We spent a night in the Nido De Condores camp, felt the height. Then the group climbed up to the assault camp of Colera 6000m.  We went down to the Plaza De Mulas camp and immediately got into the shower! Tomorrow will be a day of rest! The guides of the 7 Summits Club are Sergey Avtomonov and Dmitry Semenov.

Aloha, 7 Summits! More precisely, Jumbo! As they say in Tanzania. We start our journey to the top of the highest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro along the Machame route. It is raining heavily today, but we are not discouraged, because we are filled with full Akunamata!

Greetings from Mexico from Lyudmila Korobeshko and the group "Nahui"! After spending a stormy night in the wonderful Mexican town of Puebla, at 6 am we drove to the foot of La Malinche. By 13.00 we were already standing on the top of the volcano La Malinche (4440m). In the evening we went down and moved to the cozy hacienda of Soltepec next to the best pulqueria in the area (here they prepare pulque - braga from agave). Tomorrow we will move to Piedra Grande - the base camp on Orizaba.

Greetings from Mexico from Lyudmila Korobeshko and the team that changed its name! Yesterday we were called "Tacos", but today we were given a sign - in Cholula, an ice cream lady with this name (Tacos) crossed the road and stopped us. We had no choice but to accept the sign from above. And now we are a Nahui group. Today our group made the first ascent in Mexico to the lowest volcano in the world. This is the Koshkamate volcano with a height of 13 meters. We also visited the largest pyramid in the world - Cholula. Tomorrow we are going to climb on La Malinche (4200).

News from the slopes of Aconcagua! The Los Litros Leche group today moved from the Nido De Condoras camp to the Colera assault camp. Today it is planned to go to the summit, the weather promises to be good! The Bezbabos group rested at the base camp today and tomorrow goes to acclimatization in Nido De Condoras. Next to the camp we went to an abandoned hotel. Today we passed a medical examination: everyone is healthy enough to go to the summit. The guides of the 7 Summits Club were in touch.

Greetings from Mexico, from Lyudmila Korobeshko and a new group on Orizaba called "Tacos" (former "Cacas" on Kilimanjaro)! This morning, finally, the whole group came to Mexico City and we immediately went to explore this 36-million city.

In half a day we managed to explore the historical center of Mexico City, visit several churches, visit the largest cathedral in Latin America, found the house of Count Orizaba, visited the sculpture museum of the richest Mexican Carlos Slim, listened to the history of the conquest of Mexico by Cortez, refreshed the details of the struggle for independence, remembered the Mexican revolution, which almost coincided with ours. With some surprise, we recalled that about half of the current territory of the United States once belonged to Mexico. We listened to stories about the blood sacrifices of the Aztecs, learned the recipe for soup made from human flesh (yes, the Aztecs were also cannibals, like our good friends the Papuans).

At sunset, we went boating on the Xochimilco canals to the Mariachi songs.

Tomorrow we leave Mexico City and head to the largest pyramid in the world! Can you guess what it's called?
