President of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov reports from Alaska:

Abramov's team is spending the night today in assault camp No. 5 (altitude about 5240 meters). Tomorrow we will have a day of rest. The day after tomorrow - assault of Summit.

Today we climbed on foot with heavy backpacks from Camp 14 (Rangers) to the assault camp. Many people went with us today, about 80 people. They accumulated. The weather window opened after several days of bad weather.

 June 28. Greetings to everyone from Alaska from the "Orange Men" group! Today we finally broke free from the snow captivity and moved to the Ranger Camp at an altitude of 4300m. The climb was not easy for us - very heavy backpacks and deep snow. But the main thing is that we reached it!!! We set up camp here. We are resting. Tomorrow we will go for supplies.

 Greetings from the Elbrus region from the 7 Summits Club "Aikom" group! Today we completed our program with a successful climb on the summit of Elbrus. The weather was wonderful; it is already noticeably warmer. There were a lot of people, but we avoided all the traffic jams. In the evening, the climbers were awarded medals at the hotel, everyone is happy with the result. Until next time in the mountains!

News from Talkeetna. A day at the 7 Summits Club: Today was all about the simple joys and routine work at our Talkeetna base. We kept busy handling daily logistics — and even had a surprise visitor: a curious fox dropped by to say hello! We wrapped up the day with some peaceful evening fishing. Alaska keeps us smiling.

Greetings from the slope of Elbrus! Today, June 28, on a beautiful morning, at 6:00, the 7 Summits Club "Atomists" team in full force climbed the Western summit of Elbrus. We began the ascent from a height of 5000 meters at 2:30. The team showed an excellent result and willpower. The weather was favorable for our ascent, it was clear and cold.

It snowed all day. Avalanche danger is high. Tomorrow morning, we leave for the assault camp. Minimum things. Extreme overnight stay and the day after tomorrow assault on the summit. There is a three-day window. We pray. The temperature at the summit is about minus 30 degrees. The team is charged with success. I think we will get through. All participants feel well.

June 26. Greetings from Alaska from the "Orange Men" group! From Camp Eleven at 3400m.

Yes, we are still here. Yesterday it started snowing at lunchtime, by evening it had accumulated about 20 cm. At night the snowfall intensified. We had to leave our tents every two hours and dig ourselves out. The neighboring expedition slept all night, and in the morning their tent poles broke under the weight of the snow. Now it is almost evening. The snowfall does not stop. We dig ourselves out every hour. We are sitting in camp, waiting for the weather to improve.

 Today in Talkeetna, the 7 Summits Club swapped the mountain trails for fishing rods and rifles! We kicked things off with some sporty fishing (the fish are still laughing), then sharpened our aim with a little sport shooting, and ended the day feasting like true mountain legends. What a blast!

Message from 7 Summits Club President Alexander Abramov from the slopes of Mount Denali in Alaska:

 Yesterday evening we moved from Camp 3 to Camp 4. Now we are at an altitude of 14,000 feet or 4,200 meters. This is the so-called "Rangers Camp". Today we had training in moving along fixed ropes with jumars. And tomorrow morning we will go and make a supply run to the assault camp. There is hope to ascend to the summit of Denali in 3-4 days. The weather is windless, but snow is falling. The team feels great!

 June 25. Greetings to everyone from Alaska from the "Orange Men" group. From the Camp Eleven at 3400 m.

 Yesterday we picked up our supplies from below. And today we made a new supply under the Ranger Camp. We switched to a new way of moving - without sleds and snowshoes. Now we walk in crampons and carry all the loads in backpacks. And we also walk with ice axes - we have become real mountaineers! If the weather permits, then tomorrow we will move to the Ranger Camp at 4400.

Greetings from the Elbrus region from the "Aikom" group! Our group completed the acclimatization rotation program with a walk to the Pastukhov Rocks. Today was a hot day, we didn't even put on down jackets. Although there was a good wind blowing on the mountain. We are waiting for the weather forecast, making a decision and moving forward to our goal!

Dmitry Semenov, the guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from the Elbrus region:

 Greetings from the slopes of Elbrus! Today, our supergroup "Give me a light", as part of acclimatization, went up to an altitude of 4700 m, this is the top of the Pastukhov Rocks. Clear, sunny weather accompanied a good ascent. The peaks of the Main Caucasian Ridge were open, and we could enjoy their beauty and grandeur. Tomorrow is a rest day. The group is well prepared and is looking forward to storming the summit.

Day three. After a hearty breakfast, the "Atomists" team, full of determination, set out to take the next height for full acclimatization. The height of 4700, Pastukhov Rocks were successfully taken by our vigorous team. All participants are in excellent condition, the participants' athletic training is making itself felt.

Today the 7 Summits Club office in Talkeetna welcomed Sean Tracy, Denali135 & Denali100K Race Director and the first person to travel under historic own power from the lowest to the highest point in North America. In 2019 he also became the first person to run the 135 Mile Denali Highway with running partner Bill McCue. 

In 1997 Sean climbed Mt. Denali with started point at 282 feet below sea level at Death Valley.

He bicycled more than 3,600 miles, hiked through forests and crossed the chilly water of mountain streams. He survived tricky encounters with wildlife and negotiated treacherous mountain glaciers.

His expedition started March 21. He reached the mountaintop on June 21.

It was a true honor to meet such a legendary person in our office!

 Greetings from the slopes of Elbrus! Today our supergroup "Give me a light" climbed to our high-altitude camp National Park 3880m. After settling into comfortable trailers, we went to snow training in the area of the Refuge of Eleven, at an altitude of about 4070 meters. There we worked out the technique of climbing along the snowy terrain, along the fixed rope, and also worked out the skill of self-arrest using an ice ax. The weather and mood are excellent. Tomorrow is an acclimatization rotation to the Pastukhov Rocks.

 Greetings to everyone from the Elbrus region! The 7 Summits Club group "Brotherhood of the Ring" today moved to our assault camp, the National Park refuge at an altitude of 3800. Having settled into the trailers, we went to the area of the Refuge of Eleven, where we conducted snow training on the technique of movement and belaying. There on the snowy slope the participants were sliding on their bottoms, waving ice axes, clicking carabiners, in general, they had a quality snow and ice training.  Message from June 23.

Greetings from Elbrus! Today, our new group called "Give me a light" made its first acclimatization rotation. We climbed one of the most picturesque trails in Elbrus region up to the "Ai" cafe, at an altitude of 2,700 meters. The first part of the route passed through a pine forest, then we entered the alpine meadow zone. The weather and visibility were excellent, we saw the peaks of the Main Caucasian Range and Elbrus itself - the goal of our program.

June 23. Greetings from Alaska to everyone from the "Orange Men" group! Today we climbed to Camp 3 or Camp Eleven, at an altitude of 3400. We woke up to the sounds of snowfall. We hoped that it would stop, but on the contrary, it only got stronger. As a result, we walked under snowfall for all 6 hours. At Eleven, we met our Group #1 with Alex Abramov. They are cheerful and happy. Today, the guys did not go up because of the snowfall. They decided to rest. They helped us a lot with setting up camp in difficult winter conditions.

Tomorrow, the first group will go up to the Rangers Camp. And we have a descent for supplies and a day of rest at Eleven Camp.

Greetings from the Elbrus region! The new group of the 7 Summits Club called "The Brotherhood of the Ring" has begun its program of climbing Elbrus. Today was the first acclimatization day, the participants climbed to the cafe "Ai" on the slopes of Mount Cheget. The weather pleased us, it was clear and an excellent view of Elbrus opened up.
