The "Himalayan Snow Leopards" team continued their trek up Lobuche today. We departed from Rivendale Lodge and left the forest zone. Now we were surrounded by more snow-capped peaks, and the wind was blowing straight from the glaciers. We walked all day along the river, admiring Ama Dablam. We saw our destination, Lobuche East, for the first time. By lunchtime, we reached our lodge stop in Dingboche. We had lunch and rested at the lodge. Tomorrow we'll be heading to the last lodge on our route; higher up, there's only the base camp with tents. This was 7 Summits Club guide Sergey Avtomonov.
