The 8000 Club group "Mountain Gophers" spent the day training and preparing for the main acclimatization rotation

Hello everyone from Lenin Peak! This is the "Mountain Gophers" group. Today, our team spent the first half of the day on the glacier, in training sessions. The participants worked on: ascent and descent on fixed ropes, movement on simple ice or snow terrain using an ice axe, self-arrest on snow terrain using an ice axe. We devoted the second half of the day to packing and preparing for the exit to the Second Camp.
