August 9. Hello to everyone from Elbrus! The unique "Hungry Elbrus" project started here today. 15 fearless participants gathered to test their strength and try to climb to the highest point in Europe without food. All this is filmed by a whole team of professional operators. Doctor Myasnikov is responsible for the medical aspects. And the ideological inspirer and guide of all this "outrage" is, of course, the legendary Alexander Abramov.
Immediately after arriving at the hotel, all the participants were interviewed. Then they had a ceremonial "farewell to food" - a fabulous dinner with baked lamb.
After dinner, everyone went to the fire, where they spent the evening getting to know each other and asking why each of the participants decided to undertake such an unusual experiment. It turned out that real heroes gathered here, ready to challenge themselves and test their strength.
Everyone solemnly swore that at midnight they would stop eating for seven whole days (more precisely, until the very top of Elbrus).
The die was cast. From tomorrow, everyone only drinks water (tea and honey are allowed in extreme cases).
Super guides of the "Hungry Elbrus" project Alex Abramov, Denis Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko.
And also doctor Alexander Myasnikov, cameraman Ilya Gladkikh and the "Zavety" film crew.

Now we are already going to rest, since we have a sleepless night ahead of us and an ascent to the roof of Africa! Wish us luck! And tomorrow by lunchtime, wait for the news!

The Southern Elbrus region and the "Highfive" group welcome! On August 8, we attempted to storm the Western summit of Elbrus, in a short weather window after a thunderstorm. Weather conditions (possibility of repeated thunderstorms, cloudiness, wind, precipitation) allowed to climb only to the height of 5250 m, after which the decision was made to turn around. The guests cope with all the difficulties of the big mountains with dignity.
We are preparing for the revenge from August 10 to 11 in full force.

The guide of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Avtomonov sends from the Northern Elbrus region:
Hello to everyone from the Northern Elbrus region! On August 7, the group of the 7 Summits Club "SIR VARK" climbed along the route from the north to the Eastern summit of Elbrus. On this day, there was a very strong wind, which prevented part of the team from reaching the summit. One member of the team with the guide climbed to the summit. But in principle, we can say that we were lucky with the weather, since we managed to climb the mountain before the thunderstorm and severe weather.

The guide of the 7 Summits Club Evgeny Fedyunin reports from the Elbrus region:
News from August 8. Hello everyone! The group "Moscow Eagles" of the 7 Summits Club today made an attempt to climb Western Elbrus 5642m! In the conditions of a thunderstorm front and a headwind snowstorm, it was not easy. Sometimes falling knee-deep (and this is in August!) in grainy snow, we were able to get through in 2.5 hours only to an altitude of 5200 m. Then all the groups together made an unambiguous decision to retreat! On the International Day of Mountaineering, Elbrus, as often happens, showed its harsh disposition and character!
In the evening there was a gala dinner with conversations and plans for new Mountains!

The 7 Summits Club guide Valery Myasoedov reports from Kyrgyzstan:
Greetings from Kyrgyzstan! The 8000 Club "Pamir Vagabonds" team finally climbed to the summit of Lenin Peak. We waited a long time for a weather window, used two reserve days, and the so-called hidden reserve day, but the mountain, once again this season, showed its unpredictable character. Instead of the 20-25 km per hour promised by the forecast, the wind was 40-45 km per hour, during the ascent after the "Knife". Nevertheless, we were able to overcome the elements and reached the top.

The 7 Summits Club Guide Olya Rumyantseva reports from Elbrus region:
Hello to everyone from the slopes of Elbrus, where today our Climbuli group made an acclimatization climb towards Pastukhov Rocks.
Unfortunately, due to the bad weather that broke out, we did not reach the rocks, but we had a great walk to a height of almost 4400 meters. We walked in the rain, under ice pellets, and when lightning began to flash, we decided that we had enough adventures for today.
After that, we quickly went down to the cable car. While we were changing from one line of the cable car to another, we got caught in such a downpour that we got soaked through and decided that today we were not Climbuli, but Wetbuli.
At the hotel, we warmed up, dried off, rested and tomorrow we plan to climb to the refuge to go on an ascent.

Hello everyone from the 7 Summits Club "Akuna Matata" group from cold Africa! The higher we climb, the harsher the weather conditions become. Almost the whole day we walked in the clouds, only occasionally did the endless expanses of Kilimanjaro open up to us.
Our day began with overcoming the Barranco wall. There were steep sections in places, but they added emotions to us: it became an exciting adventure, and we realized that we were ready for more serious walls.
At the very top, tea and a hearty snack were already waiting for us. Then, we went down, and did not cease to be amazed at the diversity and beauty of the landscape. Lava stone formations pleased, various flowers and herbs added to our joy.
We reached the Karanga camp, where we were met with a delicious lunch.
After, we rested a little, walked and had dinner with real borscht!
Everyone feels well, sends greetings and congratulations on the International Mountaineering Day!

Hello everyone from Kyrgyzstan! The Club 8000 "Old Bucks" group has moved from Camp 1 to Camp 2 (5300 m). The route goes along the glacier. We go most of the way in ropes. A small but technically interesting section of the icefall is passed along vertical fixed ropes. The weather constantly changes during the ascent, sometimes it is cold, sometimes there is no wind and the sun is hot. The second camp is on the slope of the glacier, sprinkled with stones. We have a comfortable dining room at our disposal, where our entire team fits. The group guides are Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov.

A warm greeting from our team "Akuna Matata" from the hottest continent! Every day we are getting closer to our goal - the summit of Kilimanjaro.
Today we had a very long and eventful day. In the morning, we did exercises, had breakfast, and went out on the trail. Having passed through lava collapses, we reached Lawa Tower - this is a real lava tower, at the foot of which they prepared a delicious lunch for us. We stayed a little for acclimatization at an altitude of 4600 m, and slowly went on, descending down. A real green oasis awaited us ahead: endemic plants of unusual shapes, of various sizes, which surprised and delighted us very much.
Exactly for dinner, we went down to the Barranco camp, while the famous wall itself Barranco was covered by clouds for us today...
Tomorrow we have a very interesting day ahead, but for now, we need to restore our strength with a sound sleep.

The guide of the 7 Summits Club Olya Rumyantseva sends from the Elbrus region:
Greetings to everyone from the Elbrus region from the Climbuli team! Today was our first truly high-altitude trip. We climbed to an altitude of 4100 meters, where the famous Refuge of 11 was once located. And now there is a wonderful slope for snow training.
All team members got acquainted with the equipment. They learned to put on safety systems and crampons and walk in them.
We were sliding down steep wet-snow slopes, learning to hack in the snow without hacking at themselves and those around them. They deftly walked up and down, digging their crampons' sharp teeth into the snow-ice slopes.
After the lesson, we stopped by our National Park êóàãïó, where we were very hospitably greeted. We only wanted to have a cup of tea, but our hospitable cooks did not let the guests go without a plate of borscht. At the êóàãïó, we met other groups of the 7 Summits Club, who were planning to storm Elbrus tonight. We wished them good luck. And we ourselves went down to the hotel to rest after a whole day of entertainment at altitude.

Finally, our team found the right noun for its name. On Mount Ararat, horses are used to transport goods, and of course, everyone gives way to them. And so, one very large group, which saw our confident move, decided to give way to us. And at that moment their guide shouted: "let the horses go"!
So, after that, our team called itself "Unprecedented pacers". On 08/07/2025, our group in full force climbed to the top of Mount Ararat, 5165 meters high. We walked so fast that we caught the first rays of sunrise already at the top. Congratulations to all the members of the group on overcoming themselves and the difficult slopes of the mountain, I wish them new peaks!

The 7 Summits Club guide Artem Rostovtsev reports from Georgia:
The "Zero Calories" team sends greetings from distant but hospitable Georgia! They feed well here. We spent the last few days walking in the fresh air on the slopes of steep mountains. We walked carefully along the paths, did not jump on wet stones, crossed mountain rivers in the narrowest places, and did not try to get under falling stones. So there was no need to worry. And if we had to go out onto the glacier, then only in crampons. An ice axe, rope and various aluminum trinkets are also with us, so we moved safely on the glaciers covered with snow.
Everything would be fine, but we had to make an unbearably long walk to the snowy peak of Kazbek. And we did it! Our company covered the round trip in 15 hours. We chose the best weather for the walk to the summit, so that it wouldn't blow, wouldn't be covered with fog, and wouldn't be covered with snow.
Now all that's left is to calmly and safely descend from the Meteorological Station shelter, which we'll do in an hour.

Hello to everyone from the sunny and very hot Elbrus region! Our small but very active German-Russian team gathered here yesterday, and decided to call itself Climbuli.
Today we had a short walk along the picturesque slopes of Cheget. We went up to the "Ai" cafe, and on the way we looked at the beautiful peaks of Elbrus and Donguzorun. We rented all the necessary equipment and prepared for tomorrow's snow activities, where all participants will finally find out why they rented so many beautiful, interesting things.

Greetings from the slopes of Elbrus! Today our supergroup, which took the name "Assault Bags", climbed to our high-altitude camp, the National Park refuge, at an altitude of 3880 meters. After settling into comfortable trailers, we went to snow and ice training sessions in the area of the Refuge of Eleventh , at an altitude of 4070 m. There we worked on the skills of moving along a snow slope, self-arresting with an ice axe in case of a fall, and also practiced moving along fixed ropes.
