Greetings to everyone from the Elbrus region! The group of the 7 Summits Club called "Mountain Ladies" began their acclimatization before climbing Elbrus with a walk along the slopes of Mount Cheget. We climbed at a good pace to the "Ai" cafe and managed to go down to the hotel before the precipitation. August 10. Greetings to everyone from the Elbrus region from the participants of the "Hungry Elbrus" project! Today was our first day without food. We started it actively - with exercise and weighing. Then we went to Cheget. With beautiful views and bright sunshine we reached the cafe "Ai". Then it started to rain. But we decided not to retreat and went further - to Lake Donguzorun. Already under thunder and lightning we went down to the Cheget glade, having spent almost 6 hours on the way. Then we arranged an equipment check. And in the evening we went to the sauna. They say that the sauna is very useful during fasting...

Hello to everyone from the team "Akuna Matata" from the highest point of Africa!
Today we had an endlessly long day, which began at midnight. We left the Kosovo camp under cover of night. The sky was strewn with stars. And the full moon illuminated the path so much that we didn’t want to turn on the flashlights at all.
As soon as we reached the crater, we had no chance to rest or drink hot tea, as an incredibly cold and strong wind began to blow us away.
We wandered to the summit, quickly took pictures, and in order not to freeze, immediately began the descent. We warmed up only in the camp, where we were greeted with songs, dances and delicious hot food. After a short rest, we continued the descent and reached the Millennium camp, at an altitude of 4000 m. Here we were congratulated again, with champagne and cake.
We are all happy and are still comprehending our achievement, which was not easy at all.
