January 12th. Yesterday, the "MFMFM" group drove up to Tejos Camp (5900m) to consolidate their acclimatization before climbing Ojos del Salado. We pitched tents and walked to the end of the road, an approximately 150-meter vertical gain. Upon returning, we had dinner. The night passed peacefully. In the morning, two packed up camp and returned to our base camp, Laguna Verde. Today we'll rest, and tomorrow we'll prepare for the summit attempt.

This is the "Incas on the Trail" group from the 7 Summits Club. Today was a challenging day. We climbed to the first high camp, Nido de Condores. We reached it in 7 hours. The weather was fantastic, the sun was scorching us like a frying pan. We reached our camp, set up in tents, and had dinner. Tomorrow we'll take a short walk and then descend to base camp for a rest.
