Alexander Abramov of the expedition to Carstensz Pyramid. Today might be called "happy day" or "day of the sun." In the morning the sun came out, and during the day it occasionally shone for us. But sometimes, however, was a little rain.

But compared to previous days, of course, this is great progress. We have dry tents, the first time from the beginning of trek.

Now we are on the high plateau. In the morning, we have seen an array of Carstensz Pyramid. This camp five, a day from the future base camp.

Hello! Alexander Abramov sends information from Irian Jaya, aprovinceofPapua. We're going to Carstensz Pyramid. Today the whole day we walked through the swamps, climbed the steep slippery slopes, clinging to the different roots. One of porters even lost one boot in the mud. In general, it's not easy, everything is pretty hard ... Above that, Nikolai Stepanenko was sick of some unknown illness, and now we have sent him back. He went down with the accompanying and will try to fly home. Now we set up the tents right in the swamp, getting ready for bed, as well as to receive an evening meal. But, in general, we have all the good spirits. To Carstensz we should spend five more days of this path. And about five days on the way back. But we like this adventure. It is still not so bad. Goodbye!

Hello! Alex Abramov sends information from Irian Jaya, aprovinceofPapua. We're going to Carstensz Pyramid. We rested a couple of days inBaliand today, with morning departures from Denpasar, we arrived in Timika. This is already the area of Irian Jaya. From Timika in just a few hours we flew to thevillageofSugapa. Sugapa is already known to me for the past journey, which took place in 2008. Of course, a lot has changed in 5 years ... but not too much. Tomorrow we start our trekking route.

Alex: So ended 4 days in theRepublicofPapua New Guinea. PNG - as it is known for locally. Now we're flying on a plane to the capital ofPhilippines-Manila. But there is a feeling that we are still in Papua, do not let go ...

Of course, the country looks like a "Reservation forAustralia."

All is well in Papua. And they do not need anything. It seems to me that they are happy.

Everything is very poor. They go to the ragged shoes or even barefoot. But Papuans are constantly smiling. Nice to see their friendly attitude. And not because of the money. Though of course we pay…

The hotel we had, was really good one. The best inMountHagen. With swimming pool. A dining ... It is super. Roast leg of lamb. And an array of delicacies. It is a pity that only once during the whole time…. The rest of the time we have to spend in wet tents or on sucking dirt trail.

We wanted to climb the highest volcano inAustraliaand Oceania –MountGiluwe (4368 m). This is one of the 7 Summits Project - 7 Volcanoes! Before us, there were 3-4 Russian climbers – all singles. And our team is made up of 7 climbers. It is possible to say - the first big Russian expedition. I'm kidding. You always want to stand out.

The ascent took two full days. And it turned out really challenging and difficult.Forest, sucking mud, grassland with constant ups and downs, rain - as under the shower. Wet grassy slopes and climbing on them without belay. Hard and dangerous.

But we are happy. We are happy that we did it. Happy that it's over. And a short rest - 3 days inManilaandBali. We start for another challenge, interesting and difficult climb on the Carstensz Pyramid.

Last year, I did not reach to the top of Ojos del Salado inChile, the highest volcano in the world. I should turn back 50 meters before the highest point. So in January I am going there again. I hope - with the same (Papua) command. I want to reach the summit on January 16. To complete the project 7 Volcanoes. And to celebrate my day anniversary - 50 years!

Hello! Alex Abramov is calling direct from the top of Mount Giluve, the tallest volcano in the Ausralien continent. All members of our team has reached the top. The ascent was much more difficult than we expected. Mainly due to the fact that the climb goes on wet and steep grassy slopes. It is difficult to keep safety. In general, this is not an easy walk as we thought. Now we begin to descent from the summit. I hope that we go down, nothing will happen. I wil call you when we will be down. But not soon, because the connection will not be at the bottom of the mountain. Goodbye!

Hello! Alex Abramov from the global expedition to Mount Fuji, Giluve and Carstensz. Today we spent the night on benches at the airport in Tokyo. Then we arrived in the morning from Tokyo to Singapore, and spent a memorable 8:00. Chic city, we really liked the city... Now we're leaving from Singapore and fly to Port Moresby.
