 Alex Abramov: Today, on almost perfect weather, but only at the knee in the snow littered, we climbed Cho Oyu. Everybody. All seven people, and all six Sherpas. From Camp 2 to Camp 1 Eugene Voronov went by snowboard. We all were frozen at Camp 2 and tired as dogs. Only Eugene hovered over the steep slopes like a bird.

We agreed next year to take command of the Tibetans on Elbrus. And the Tibetans will take the Russian team at the Northern Summit of Mount Everest - Changtse.
