The guide of the 7 Summits Club Dmitry Semenov reports from Argentina:

New Year greetings, from the slopes of Aconcagua!  Today our Mañana group is the third day on the route. We arrived at the base camp Plaza de Mulas (4300m.) Until today, Aconcagua seemed to me to be a very windy, dusty and hot mountain.  But today, on New Year's Eve, we had snow along the route, and in the base camp we were greeted by real winter. The group coped with the task perfectly. Tomorrow in the New Year we will have a day of rest. Special thanks to our Valerio, for the excellent tea that warmed us up and cheered us up. Happy New Year to everyone!!!  Happiness, success, health and a peaceful sky in the New Year!!! See you in the mountains!

The guides of the 7 Summits Club, Evgeny Fedyunin and Sergey Avtomonov, report.  Jambo!  The group "Akuna Matata Rafiki" of the 7 Summits Club on December 28th met the morning on the border of equatorial forests and heather thickets at an altitude of 3000m. Everyone feels great! Through the clouds, we were greeted by the summit of Uhuru Peak 5895m, the highest point of Mount Kibo in the Kilimanjaro massif. The weather today is not particularly pampering, rain and drizzle all the way, moorland is justified (swampy area).  The team coped with all the tasks PERFECTLY!

We visited the caves of the Shira Plateau, where even before 2010 local teams of porters lived during the Kilimanjaro climbing programs! We are waiting for dinner, everyone is happy!

Friends, hello to all from Tanzania! Today we were greeted by the bright sun and the singing of birds. We had breakfast and held a morning medical check-up for the whole Iskorka group. All feel great, saturation is 90+. The Mandara Hut pleased with its accommodation in fairly comfortable cabins for 4 people. Yesterday we passed a picturesque and uncomplicated passage, met waterfalls, small rivers, exotic plants and animals. We were moving towards the Horombo camp (3760 m). On the way 15 km, a set of 1000 meters. The first meeting with Kilimanjaro took place! Kibo Cone and Mawenzi Peak appeared to us. We got to Khorombo a little tired, but happy.

The guides of the program are Alexander Dorojukov and Olga Startseva.

Today we drove up to the gate of the Marangu Gate National Park (1894 meters), then we got permits and went to the Mandara hut with a height difference of 900 meters. Nature pleases with bright colors of flowers and plants. We managed to get acquainted with the local inhabitants of the hotel - small nimble monkeys and fluffy rabbits. The weather favors us, there was a little rain in the morning, but now the sun is shining. Wish us good luck! The guides Alexander Dorojukov and Olga Startseva are in touch.
