The guide of the 7 Summits Club Sergey Avtomonov reports from Nepal:

Hooray! The Drink team group made an ascent on Mera Peak. We tried not to get drunk too much and we could! There was no communication for two days.  During this time, we reached the assault camp 5800. We slept at a new height for everyone in tents. In the morning, we went out to climb, views of Mount Everest Lhotse and other eight-thousand-meter Summits opened. While we were going up, the weather was frosty, but clear. And on the descent the fog tightened and we were looking for a way between the cracks to the camp. On the descent from the assault camp, it snowed with a thunderstorm, which turned off the Internet in the whole district. And in the morning we safely went by helicopter to Lukla, where we continue to rest now. We're splitting up tomorrow. Part of the group is flying under Island Peak.  And part of it is in Kathmandu to rest and fly home.

Greetings to all from Kathmandu, from the Beautiful group! Early yesterday morning we made a rapid jump from Khare to Kathmandu. It's great that we didn't have to walk for three days and then wait for the plane in Lukla. Instead, we flew by helicopter from Khare to Lukla, and then immediately to Kathmandu.  During the flight from Khare to Lukla, our pilot was Simone Moro himself, so a regular flight became an unforgettable attraction with beautiful views. In the evening, a farewell dinner was held in Kathmandu, where all participants of the ascent received certificates and commemorative medals.

The Drink team group reached the loggia in Khar – at 4900 meters. We walked slowly in good weather and with a light breeze. We had lunch and then went higher, to acclimatize to a height of 5100. Tomorrow the plan is to make a final check of the equipment, conduct classes on the use of jumars and the rest of our toys. And in the evening we decided to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Dynamo club. Therefore, instead of beer, we drink rum today and justify our name!

The Drink team group from the approaches to the Mera Peak! Today, a strategic decision was made not to drink rum before climbing summit. So far, only beer and that - on a limited scale. We reached the village of Tagnak 4200m today.  On the way we visited a Buddhist monastery. It feels like they have already acclimatized for this height. A deeper sleep has come to many and rest begins to bring more pleasure.  Tomorrow we go to the last lodge before the climbing part.  Then only up and up to the top. Today, Mera peak is already hanging over us and makes it clear that this is not a simple mountain!  All namaste!

The Drink team is in touch! Today was a simpler day. We woke up in Thuli Kharka, slowly gathered and began to traverse towards the village of Khote. First, through the snow and rocks, the path led us to the descent into the coniferous forest. We stopped there for lunch in the loggia. When we went out, the weather turned a little bad and a light rain began to drip. We were lucky the rain was light and we almost didn't get wet.  We reached the Khote village. In the loggia where we stayed for the night, there is a shower and a coffee machine! We have taken full advantage of these benefits and are resting.

Hello to all from the Beautiful group! Today we have climbed 700 meters and reached the last point of civilization on our way - the village of Khare, which is located at an altitude of 4900.

From here our ascent to Mera Peak will begin. We made today's journey in less than four hours, taking into account a slight deviation from the route to a very beautiful lake, and a tea party with a view of Mera Peak.

While drinking tea, a huge avalanche descended from the wall. From a distance, it looked very grand and beautiful. In Khare, we did not stop there, and after lunch we climbed another 250 meters to a height of 5150 for better acclimatization.

Everyone is cheerful and ready to move on.

A guide of the 7 Summits Club Olga Rumyantseva reports from Nepal:

Hello everyone from Nepal from the Beautiful group! Today we had the simplest and most pleasant day. Just some four hours of smooth ascent. So smooth that when we walked for about an hour and gained almost 300 meters out of 700 expected, I was asked: "Have we gained at least some?" Here, of course, good acclimatization also affects. So good that at an altitude of more than 4000 meters, instead of sweating tiredly, everyone goes and constantly chatter.

Today our path was not too diverse. From a height of 3500 we climbed along the river to a height of 4300 meters to the village of Tagnak.

But was he any less handsome for that? Firstly, the river itself with incredibly blue water and mini waterfalls.  Secondly, very soon after we started walking, a pyramid of a very beautiful mountain loomed in front of us. This mountain with a height of almost 6000 meters (the name will not tell you anything, and it constantly flies out of my head) is sacred. Climbing it is prohibited.  Thirdly, there was a small monastery on our way, inscribed in an overhanging stone.

By lunchtime we came to Tagnak and after a little rest, we went to wander around the village in search of beauty. The beauty was hidden by clouds. But never mind, we are not just a band ourselves, but a Beautiful one.

A guide of the 7 Summits Club Olga Rumyantseva reports from Nepal:

Greetings from Nepal from the group "Beautiful"! Today we moved from winter to spring. We woke up at an altitude of 4200 in the snow and began to descend towards the village of Kothe.  As we descended, the winter landscape changed to spring one.  There was less and less snow, more and more trees. Soon leaves appeared on them, and then we descended into a fabulous forest with trees covered with thick moss, paths strewn with flowers and blooming rhododendrons.  It can't be said that it was an easy way, but it was beautiful.

And most importantly, today we saw the purpose of our trip - Mera peak, in all its glory.

Hello everyone from Nepal from the group Beautiful! Today was a difficult day for us. More precisely, it was night. Since the flights to Lukla were transferred from Kathmandu to another airport, at two o'clock in the morning we had to leave the hotel and go on an adventure. Four hours on a broken mountain road, and now small planes take us to Lukla to the beginning of the route.  After a small snack in Lukla, we went on a route towards Mera Peak.
