After a week of waiting, we finally caught a weather window between periods of strong winds, and climbed to the summit in excellent weather conditions. Today we are already in the first camp. Tomorrow - the trek to Achiktash and then immediately go to Osh. We were late!

Now, according to the forecast, strong winds are blowing in the area of the summit, which do not allow the ascent. There is the summit of Lenin Peak!!! On August 9 at 14:00 local time, the "Mountain Gophers" team consisting of: participants Grigory, Valery and Andrey, under the guidance of guide Ratmir Mukhametzyanov and Sherpa Nima climbed to the top of Lenin Peak! The first 4 hours after leaving the assault camp, a very strong wind blew, and not all members of our group were able to cope with it. Some of our comrades decided to interrupt the ascent and return to the camp.

The summit is not always the most important thing in such expeditions. The most important thing is life and the experience in good company. And we did it! We are all alive, healthy and full of emotions.

Now the team is heading to Osh.

Hello from Kyrgyzstan! The 8000 Club "Old Bucks" group climbed Razdelnaya Peak (6150). We spent two nights in the Second Camp of Lenin Peak, at an altitude of 5300m. Now we have descended to the Base Camp to rest and to see off the group of climbers who have completed their program on Razdelnaya Peak.  Greetings from Kyrgyzstan! The 8000 Club "Pamir Vagabonds" team finally climbed to the summit of Lenin Peak. We waited a long time for a weather window, used two reserve days, and the so-called hidden reserve day, but the mountain, once again this season, showed its unpredictable character. Instead of the 20-25 km per hour promised by the forecast, the wind was 40-45 km per hour, during the ascent after the "Knife". Nevertheless, we were able to overcome the elements and reached the top.

Hello everyone from Kyrgyzstan! The Club 8000 "Old Bucks" group has moved from Camp 1 to Camp 2 (5300 m). The route goes along the glacier. We go most of the way in ropes. A small but technically interesting section of the icefall is passed along vertical fixed ropes. The weather constantly changes during the ascent, sometimes it is cold, sometimes there is no wind and the sun is hot. The second camp is on the slope of the glacier, sprinkled with stones. We have a comfortable dining room at our disposal, where our entire team fits. The group guides are Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov.

The path went through the Puteshestvennikov Pass, then we walked along the scree slopes with an exit to the glacier. Hello to everyone from Kyrgyzstan! Today the "Stary Bucks" group made an acclimatization rotation to the ridge of Petrovsky Peak. From where there are views of the Achik-Tash glade and the surrounding peaks. We saw marmots actively preparing for hibernation. Thus, we successfully completed the most important part of the expedition - acclimatization.

We drove for six hours, not without adventures, along mountain roads to the Achik-Tash glade, a base camp located at an altitude of 3500 meters. In the camp we settled in comfortable yurts, went to dinner, where we appreciated the efforts of the cooks. Tomorrow we begin to acclimatize, go to the ridge of Petrovsky peak.  Greetings from the First Camp of Lenin Peak from the "Pamir Vagabonds"! We are resting here and preparing for the decisive exit to storm the summit. We are resting in comfortable tents with beds, they are called "spheres" here, we eat delicious shurpa and a kazan-barbecue, in general, all the conditions have been created for restoring strength. And so that you don't forget us, look at how we saw our girls off after climbing Peak of Razdelnaya. Two of them, by the way, will soon have birthdays, they were given gifts from the 7 Summits Club. Hello everyone from Lenin Peak! This is the "Mountain Gophers" group. Today, our team spent the first half of the day on the glacier, in training sessions. The participants worked on: ascent and descent on fixed ropes, movement on simple ice or snow terrain using an ice axe, self-arrest on snow terrain using an ice axe. We devoted the second half of the day to packing and preparing for the exit to the Second Camp.

Hello everyone from Kyrgyzstan! From the group that took the name "Mountain gophers". Today we left the Achik-Tash base camp and moved to Camp 1. The trek was long, but all the participants coped! The weather pleased with beautiful views all day.

All the participants were surprised by our best service at this altitude! We live in comfortable warm tents with beds and electricity, and there is excellent three meals a day. Tomorrow, according to the plan, we have an acclimatization climb to Yukhin Peak.

 Hello everyone from Kyrgyzstan! News from the "Svet Zhok" group! Yesterday, July 25, we climbed the summit of Lenin Peak, 7134 meters. The weather before reaching the top was wonderful: clear, warm. At the moment when we reached 7134, it became cloudy. But the bust of Lenin, like a beacon on the top, showed the highest point of Lenin Peak. Now we have already descended to the camp, resting.

Greetings from Kyrgyzstan! The Pamir Vagabonds group climbed to the First Camp of Lenin Peak yesterday. The hike took about five hours at a good, steady pace. In the camp, we settled into comfortable little houses with beds and electricity; it's hard to imagine better conditions. And today, we made a successful acclimatization climb to Yukhin Peak, 5130 m. And for some participants, the program of stay at Lenin Peak has ended. Our participant Yulia climbed Domashniy Peak, and was very happy about it.
