On the eve of their summit push on Ojos del Salado, the 7 Summits Club team conducted training sessions on climbing along fixed ropes. The training took place inside tents, as the outdoor climate is not suitable for this.

The guide Olya Rumyantseva: Actually, this kind of technique won't be needed on Ojos del Salado. It's technically simpler there. But it's better when people know how to use fancy gear they bought at the store.

Good afternoon! Today, the 7 Summits Club group "Seven", having slept well and rested from the previous night's high-altitude camping, cheerfully set out for breakfast at 7:00 AM. Then, at 8:00 AM, we set out for the pass that connects Chile and Argentina. From the pass, we drove a little higher and then climbed up Mount San Francisco (the pass also has the same name).

We started at 8:50 AM and reached the summit at 3:00 PM. We didn't spend much time at the summit, as a thunderstorm was raging nearby, and we began to feel static...

We safely returned to the cars by 5:00 PM. Everything is fine, we're at camp, resting. Guides Alexander Abramov and Alexey Lonchinsky.

The day before, we had driven our vehicles up to level ground without incident. We all pitched our tents together. We walked along the road/trail above camp. We had dinner and went to bed. This was our first time at such an altitude, and we also had an overnight stay. We generally slept, but not always, and not very well. But in the morning, everyone was in good spirits, quickly packed up camp, and descended safely to our Laguna Verde camp. Now we're resting and gathering strength for tomorrow!!! All the best, guide Alexey Lonchinsky.

Greetings to everyone from the foot of Ojos del Salado volcano from the "Blazing Height" group. Today we woke up at Santa Rosa Camp at an altitude of 3,800 meters. After breakfast, we followed the plan to drive up and climb one of the peaks of Mount Seven Brothers, at 4,870 meters.

We had a great walk and saw beautiful views. We were lucky with the weather; there was no wind at all, so we sat at the summit for an hour, breathing in the thin air. After descending the mountain to our camp, we had lunch and decided to move to the Laguna Verde camp, where the views were more picturesque.

Along the way, we saw Ojos. We settled into camp, walked around, and admired the beautiful lake and flamingos.
