On the first trek to 2800 meters, Kilimanjaro decided to give us a bath before the summit. We walked for over two hours in heavy rain. The trail turned into a stream. That evening, we celebrated the birthday of a member named Platon with a cake!

Hello everyone! Our new Kilimanjaro team has adopted the name "From 5th to 12th E." The group has arrived in Tanzania and, with 12 members, has begun its ascent along the Machame route. The average age of the participants is 36, which, in my opinion, is ideal for high-altitude climbing. I will report average weight and height later. Today, as you may recall, we will trek to Machame Camp at 3,000 meters.
