Hello from Kathmandu!  From guides of the Manaslu expedition - Sergey Larin and Lyudmila Korobeshko. Yesterday we arrived in the capital of Nepal. We met with the Director of our office in Kathmandu Mingma and the staff. Today we have already received a permit. So our expedition is officially approved. Tomorrow 6 climbers  arrive.   And 4th of September, we hope to fly to Samagaon at 3800, where we begin to start our acclimatization. Wish us luck!

The 7 Summits Club is a growing and creative company. We are always open to new ideas and always ready to open new projects. Today we are announcing our project of climbing all 14 eight-thousanders. Our groups will try to deploy the club's flags on all the highest mountains of the world. In the near future we plan expeditions to Manaslu, Everest from the South and North, Lhotse, Makalu, in the summer of 2020 to Gasherbrum-2 and even K2.

Our expeditions are served by our well-trained team of Sherpas, proven high-altitude guides and well-trained in the provision of camping services. With the ideal organization of expeditions, members have a great chance to achieve success, to reach the summit. Climb all 14 eight-thousand - no longer a fantastic dream, but it can be quite a real goal.

Up-to-date information from the main news agencies: the Nepalese authorities are considering options for tightening requirements for climbers on Everest. Including the planned threefold increase in the cost of permits. But until that happens we offer the best price in the area.   44900 dollars, that is, about two times lower than usual! This expedition to Everest from the South will take place in the spring of 2020. The expedition will be led by Vladimir Kotlyar, who has twice climbed to the summit and has extensive experience as a guide in expeditions.

The route is a legend, it is very different from the ascent from the North. Starting from the approaches by the Khumbu valley, then following through the legendary icefall (for several years without accidents, you only need to carefully choosing  a route), through the South Col, South Summit and Hillary Step. By the way, at the top there is a chance to meet the climbers of the 7 Summits Club, which will climb from the North.

And as an added plus, we offer a bonus (free) climb to thesummit of Lhotse, the fourth highest peak in the world. Additional payment for the permit will not be necessary.  Recently, such double ascents in one exit above the Khumbu icefall have become not uncommon. So go ahead!

RD Studio presented yesterday the second part of the documentary from 4 parts "The Man who always wanted more".

 This is the story of a man who on the eve of his 60th birthday decided to climb Everest. But before climbing the highest mountain of the planet, he will climb three peaks in different parts of the world: Kazbek, Manaslu and Ohos del Salado.

Vasily Shakhnovsky was able to climb Kazbek. There will be a jump to 3 kilometers up. Mount Manaslu - the eight-thousand meter peaks of Nepal, one of the 14 eight-thousanders of the world. Unusually beautiful and avalanche dangerous.  The way to the top is blocked by numerous cracks and snow cornices. But the main danger is height. Never before Vasily was not above 8000.

 The 7 Summits and RD Studio continue their fruitful cooperation. According to the results of expeditions on Everest in 2015 and 2016 RD Studio released the film "The High-Altitude Gene Or How To Get To Everest", which was shown on the main channel of Russian television.

 Our cooperation continues. This fall in the Himalayas we will be shooting the film "The High-Altitude Gene - 2", about oxygen free climbing expedition on Manaslu (8156 m).  The head of the expedition Alexander Abramov. Only Everest climbers will be able to take part in the expedition and filming.  The composition of the climbing group: 7 men and 3 women.

At the same time there will be a group of the 7 Summits Club under the leadership of Sergey Larin.  It will be held according to the standard program of the 7 Summits Club

And about the far-reaching plans: in 2 years we plan to shoot " The High-Altitude Gene -3" at this time on the "Mountain of mountains", the legendary K-2.

And in the evening we celebrated the birthday of one of members  - Alena. In general, the day was a success.

Seven Summits, hi!  Here is a guide Dmitry Ermakov from Gorak Shep. We got here today. The weather improved. We went to the base camp. Everyone is tired and the height is felt, but we do not give up! Left to stand overnight and day hold! At night we go to Kala Pattar. Best regards!

Seven Summits, hi! Here is Dmitry Ermakov from Tiangboche. We got in pretty late last night. Rather, we were divided into two groups. Denis Abramov and half of the members reached  according the plan.    But we got a little late.  This is due to the fact that one of the members we sent home by helicopter. He's sick.

We have, in principle, all according to plan. Today we go further, to the village of Periche.

Vladimir Kotlyar, a guide of the group: Hi, 7 summits! “The Magnificent Seven” group continues to climb. Today we  reached the village of Tagnak, at an altitude of 4270. Weather pleases! Health and conditions of  group are excellent!

Vladimir Kotlyar, a guide of the group:  Hi! Group "Magnificent seven" reached the village of Tula-Khare. We passed the pass cheerfully, though there was a lot of snow. Group has a real fighting mood!

 Our two groups started their journey in Nepal. The group led by guide Vladimir Kotlyar has already arrived in Lukla by helicopter. They're heading for the village Chutang and then to Mera peak. The second group, consisting of 18 members, gathered in Kathmandu. Members of the group will follow the route "To the base camp of Everest" under the guidance of guides Dmitry Ermakov and Denis Abramov (son of Alex Abramov).  Tomorrow, the team plans to fly to Lukla...

7 Summits, Hello! This is guide Dmitry Ermakov from Island peak. We successfully climbed Island peak. It was a very long climb up and an equally long descent. But we did!

7 Summits, hello!  Yesterday, our group was divided. A large part together with Vladimir Kotlyar left in Namche Bazaar, I and Valentine went to Chukung. It snowed all day. Today the weather got a little better and we climbed into the high camp at Island peak.  Tomorrow we will try to climb this beautiful mountain.

Today we marched to the village of Pherice, which was built at an altitude of 4270 meters above sea level. We lost our appetite, but not the fighting spirit!!!!  We continue our journey…

Aloha, our dear! A large, but friendly and disciplined team of the 7 Summits Club, going to the base camp of Everest under the leadership of guides Ermakov and Kotlyar, stormed the height of 3876. That is, we came to a small town Tengboche. Weather favors us, the group has a fighting spirit. Now all together we went to get acquainted with the famous Buddhist monastery, built by Lama Gulu in 1916. And today it is our Grisha's birthday!!!! While the band is out, I'll make a cake.

All, salute!!!! The group of guides Ermakov and Kotlyar, going to the Everest base camp, after testing of a long way to the airport Ramechhap and a more long waiting for departure in mountains, finally arrived in Lukla! No losses!  Since we were in Lukla late, it was decided to make minor changes to the original plan. We're staying here tonight. The mood of the group is fighting!!!

 On February 21, 2019, a group of the 7 Summits Club, consisting of 17 members and 3 guides, climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. The ascent took place along the Marangu route.   It was the third summit in the implementation of Alexander Abramov's project "7 summits in 7 months".  The President of the 7 Summits Club  intends to climb the highest peaks of all continents in the shortest possible time. He began with Mount Vinson in Antarctica in January and intends to complete the epic in July, on the top of Mount Denali in North America.

Dear friends, we are pleased to announce that today, April 8,  the 7 Summits Club opens a new  Nepal season!  


This spring we will organize two trekking groups, which will go on the most popular route in Nepal "To the base camp of Everest". And there will be two groups that will go on climbing.  Participants and guides will try to climb two Himalayan six thousanders: Island Peak and Mera Peak. 
We will wait for news and photos from our Super-guides Vladimir Kotlyar and Dmitry Ermakov! 


 Guides of the 7 Summits Club 7 Dmitry Ermakov and Vladimir Kotlyar met the first group in Kathmandu.

They checked equipment and went to dinner, to celebrate  beginning of  expedition and  birthday of our member - Tatyana !

A group of  the 7 Summits Club headed by Andrey Podolyan made a trip to Nepal, with climbing to the top of Lobuche and Ama-Dablam.  They took the filming of the video very seriously. That was made a great movie. If we can get better through the normal campaign?
