Mountaineering School in Moscow

June 8^th the 7 Summits Club 7 held another lecture along the program of its Mountaineering School. This time the focus was on the highest peak in Africa, the legendary Kilimanjaro. Our small room was full and listened with great attention to our lecturers:  manager of our company Anastasia Kuznetsova and one of the summiters on this mountain, a member of the Writers' Union Valery Lavrus

February 1th in the sports complex DDS  it was carried out regular technical training under the guidance of our "guru", the master of sports, the 7 Summits Club coach Alexander Lastochkin. Everything was great, just super! We all are waiting for the next technical training - February 8th! It will be interesting and useful to everyone!

January, 25th  the first this year  technical Training Mountain School of the 7 Summits Club was held in the sports complex DDS under the guidance of coach, master of sports Alexander Lactochkin. The main direction of training - work with a rope, belay,  using fixed ropes.

Next technical training will be held on February 1, the wait for everyone! Just please, be recorded in advance. Technical training cost - 1000 rubles.

The first in this year's technical training took place on January 18 at the sports complex DDS . Classes are held under the supervision of the 7 Summits Club coach, master of sports Alexander Lastochkin.

  All climbers are well aware of the importance of good equipment, the right to use it. As well as the tactics of ascent, which also paid attention to the technical training. Based on the fact that it is necessary for our students, we build a lesson plan until the summer...

Вчера, 21 декабря состоялась  первая техническая тренировка Клуба 7 Вершин в ДДС. Тренировка стала бесплатным подарком для любителей альпинизма. Galina Rossova: We had a great work out, we try new routes and new methods of technology. We remind you that everyone at every level (even if it is any one) we are happy to meet for Mondays in the DDS palace, on Thursdays - in the Rock City.

Today, the group of 7 Summits Club, all members, under the leadership of our guide Vladimir Kotlyar climbed Island Peak – the famous Himalayan peaks. Well done! Watch the video clip directly from the top!

On 20^th  October at the climbing gym Skala (Rock) city for the first time there was training session of the Mountain school of the 7 Summits Club. Classes were held under the guidance of coach-instructor Egor Dulnev.

This training session was not conducted in our common place (DDS) and climbing center the Big Wall. It's like to visit different mountains...  the reason for the unscheduled exercise was the visit to Moscow  our wonderful Crimean guide Natasha Kartashova. A great climber, she in a short time the co-working with the 7 Summits Club learned new pedagogical approaches to learning skills on the rocky terrain of people specializing in commercial mountaineering... Thanks, in particular, the presence of two Alexandrs, our President (Abramov) and our Coach (Lastochkin), training became fun and informative.

 So - welcome to the Crimean rocks to the Crimean sea, Crimean nature and Crimean wine!

On October 10^th  there was  the first training session of new season with coach Alexander Lastochkin. Now the trainings will take place every Monday. And every workout will bring something new. For students of the Mountain school every Monday becomes a special day . And this is due to the fact that our coach, two-time champion of Russia on mountaineering, gives very interesting assignments for practicing techniques of climbing. In parallel, he talks about the most exciting and legendary expeditions, in which participated about different cases that occurred in the mountains around the world.

 Alexander is a terrific climber, and his expertise is fascinating. And we provide you with a unique opportunity to communicate with such man.

March 21, Monday, our next training session on the techniques of rock climbing was held in the gym in the DDS. Participants of our Mountain School are becoming more and more prepared for the upcoming climbing, both physically and psychologically. For all guests in training we prepared some surprises..

Good afternoon! This is Alexander Grebenyuk, Mountain School of the 7 Summits Club on the Caucasian Mineral Waters. The second day of our program ends. First, we worked on a climbing technique at Eagle Rock, on the western spurs of the mountain. And then we passed traverse of the three peaks: Small Beshtau – Main Summit - Curly. Now we are having a snack, drink tea, and we will go down to the cars. Today we have a happy event, one of the school students have a birthday. We congratulated him, congratulations.

Hello to all from the hot Crimea! From hot March Crimea. We all did a good job today, climbing rocks with Alina and Vova. They remembered what a rock, what  is climbing technique. Today the weather was wonderful. We trained in the technique of the SPT in caving, we are preparing for a difficult cave. Then we have climbed more, Vova made 6B route.  Alina also well trained. In general, we have worked all day, and they all went to bed early. Tomorrow we have a continuation of the program - a difficult ascent of the wall, eight pitches. Till tomorrow!

On Mondays we have a workout in the climbing gym in the DDS  Sport Center under the leadership of Alexander Lastochkin - the master of sports on mountaineering and experienced instructor. Regular exercise was fun and provocatively, marked Valentine's Day celebration, which continued to celebrate the end of training.

 After training, we drank tea and planned a joint trip. Each of the participants decided on the plans, who will go to Pyatigorsk, who in the Crimea, and some in Italy.

Hello everybody! It is a Head of Mountain School  of the 7 Summits Club on the Caucasian Mineral Waters Alexander Grebenyuk. The group climbed to the top of the mountain Madovaya (honey). Further we were waiting for 200 meters of descent on the ropes. The average steepness was about  60 degrees. The weather is good, warm,  good mood.

Alexander Grebenyuk:  The first day of work of Mountain school of the  7 Summits Club in the  Caucasus Mineralnye Vody region came to the end with ascent on Mashuk. Good weather, the interesting program, excellent mood promoted performance of objectives. We worked on elements of free climbing on a rocky relief, descents and climb up on ropes on the different steepness of slopes. Then there was an ascent on the of Mount Mashuk Tomorrow we are awaited by Eagle rocks on northwest slopes of Mount Beshtau, is planned to make a traverse of two tops of Beshtau also.

Ice climbing competitions, called "Golden Capricorn" were in the region of Elbrus, on a frozen waterfall near Glade Narzan. The organizers: 7 Summits Club and the club "Maximum" from Pyatigorsk. Sportsmen from different cities took to the start: Moscow, Pyatigorsk, Stavropol, Nalchik, Kazan, Karachaevsk, Krasnodar, Rostov. Winners: Sheykina Karina (Stavropol), Anna K. (Kazan), Katalevsky Marina (Stavropol), Rinat Aliyev (Krasnodar), Kurzhanov Mohamed (Nalchik), Krutikov Valentin (Maximum Club, Pyatigorsk) ...

The competition was held for the 7th time and dedicated to all our friends born under the sign Kozegorog (Capricorn). The initiator of the competition - the team captain, president of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov, he invented it 15 years ago.

Alexander Grebenyuk: The session of school is completed by climbing on one of the peaks of the Caucasian Mineral Waters - Mountain laccolith Medovaya (Honey). Students of the school have shown their knowledge when making climbing on rocky route. All this was at a background of normal mountain weather with a breeze and little precipitation. In the analysis of climbing all people adequately responded to the issues. All the best, until next time!

Good evening! It says Alexander Grebenyuk, guide of the Mountain School of the 7 Summits Club on the Caucasian Mineral Waters. Today, December 6, it was the third and final day of our School. The program was fully implemented. During the sessions, students have consolidated the skills of movement on the mountain terrain, examined the use in practice, devices and accessories for ascending and descending the rocks of varying difficulty and steepness. We climbed to the top of Mount Mashuk, Ostrogorka and the highest point of the region - Mount Beshtau, having traversed using climbing equipment route across the top of the Goat rocks. All participants are healthy and departed to the place of permanent residence by evening flights from Mineralnye Vody Airport.
