Masala Team news from Everest. In the morning it was snowing impenetrably. Nevertheless, the puja (opening, consecration of the camp) took place in any weather. They say it's good luck if it's snowing. In the end, everyone smeared themselves with flour and were very happy.  A lot of trekkers come to us. Lena invites everyone to the Bar where we spend most of our time. It's warm and there are board games. And a guitar. And music. And drinks to brighten up a snowy day. We have ice classes tomorrow. And we also wait for Makalu group of the 8000 Club.

 Hurray! The Everest team "Masala Team" reached the Base Camp today. Our camp is just beautiful. It is right at the very beginning, so all our friends come to tea with us. There is a large tent in the camp, a dining room, a bar with a projector and various drinks. Tents in height, with beds and lighting and charging. And a lot of things. We'll show it tomorrow. The staff met us perfectly. And the team of Sherpas and cooks, also  the team of Vitaly Lazo and Anton Pugovkin, who are shooting a film and have already gone to 6400 and skied down. And the 8000 Club team led by Viktor Volodin.  It's snowing. But our camp is warm and cozy. Our food is prepared by the chef of the best restaurant in Kathmandu, La Sherpa. Tomorrow is Pooja. There will be a lot of photos. And we are waiting for the 8000 club team on Makalu, under the leadership of Luda Korobeshko, who will spend 2 nights with us and then fly under her mountain. Now we have 17 participants. It will be 28.

Expedition leader Alexander Abramov: Today, along a snow-covered trail, which became slippery as soon as the sun warmed up, we quickly rode to the village of Lobuche, which consists of 10 loggias. As always, we settled in the most comfortable Oxygen Altitude loggia and watched a football match. It's snowing again, but we're already at home. Tomorrow we have to move to the Base camp. Massala Team News, Everest expedition. The day started with beautiful views of Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Slowly we overcame half of the way. We were constantly overtaken by yaks. Then it started snowing. Fortunately, we just got up for lunch. Have eaten. The sun came out. That's how we got to Periche. Now we are in a great Edelweiss loggia.

A couple of days ago, the team "Death zone freeride" (Vitaly Lazo, Anton Pugovkin and Ivan Rodin) went from the Base Camp to the Camp 1 (6100m). After overnight stay there, next day they climbed to the Camp 2 at 6400m. Great news today! There is the first ski descent on Everest — our team has successfully descended on skis from a height of 6500 m.  Guys skied through the icefall!  The start is given!

Hello everyone!  The team of "Massala tim" of the 7 Summits Club on Everest today cheerfully reached the Rivendell Hotel in the village of Deboche. Message from April 16.

On April 14, the DZF team arrived at the Everest Base Camp. The transfer from Lobuche to EBC took 4 hours. Yesterday we walked along the moraine on which the tent city is located — in fact, the base camp itself.  Our expedition takes place in cooperation with the 7 Summits Club and 8000 Club and that's what Vitaly Lazo tells about the first days in the camp: "The base camp of the 7 Summits Club is a delux level camp! This is the first time I rest under the route in such conditions. To say that I am surprised is to say nothing. Kitchen, recreation area, personal space — tents, sanitary zones, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. To do all this is a lot of work, experience and understanding of the pain points of the expedition participants. Alexa Abramov, bravo!"

 Today Vitaly Lazo and Anton Pugovkin conducted classes for our operators — they taught how to move in crampons, what is the ascent and descent of fixed ropes, and much more. And then we went towards Camp 1, through the Khumbu icefall. Beauty! The team reached the height of 5700 m and returned home to DC, where a 5-star lunch was waiting for everyone.

News of the 7 Summits Club  expedition on Everest.  Today is the last day in Kathmandu and tomorrow we will fly to Lukla by three helicopters.  First we visited local stores. All the equipment here is 1.5 times cheaper than in Moscow. And you can find everything. The main thing is how to look. And in the evening we had a party with invited friends.

Congratulations to everyone on the year 2080!  From Kathmandu.  The expedition of the 7 Summits Club to Everest begins.  The team is gathering. Sergey Bogomolov and Alla Mishina arrived.  And yesterday we had fun at the celebration of the New Year 2080 according to the Nepalese calendar.

And Yes… We received permits for Everest and Lhotse from the Ministry of Tourism of Nepal. Now only forward and up!!!

Dear friends, we are happy to share the news from Vitaly Lazo and his team, who are going to Mount Everest as part of the 7 Summits Club and 8000 Club groups!

He is 84 old and worked as a porter on the famous 1953 Everest expedition with Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary. It was a great shooting day!

The base camp on Everest is under construction, large tents have already been set up.  On Tuesday, April 11, the organizers and guides fly to Kathmandu. On April 15th, the main part of the Everest expeditions will start. The expedition on Makalu starts in 2 more days, on April 17th.

Vitaly Lazo and Anton Pugovkin with a small shooting and escort team are scheduled to fly to Lukla tomorrow. And from there start your march to the foot of the highest peak in the World. This year they will work in cooperation with the expeditions of the 7 Summits Club and the 8000 Club, using our vast experience in organizing and conducting ascents of Mount Everest.  So we will be doubly worried and rooting for these outstanding athletes, wishing them the successful execution of their plans.

 One, two, three: GO! Death Zone Freeride team is pleased to announce the start of the next step of the project: an ascent and following skiing from Everest. Death Zone Freeride is the project of two Snow Leopards, Vitaly Lazo and Anton Pugovkin. On April 4, the team flew to Kathmandu to begin their way to the highest mountain in the world.

Today, the first team of Sherpas of the expedition of the 7 Summits Club and the 8000 Club on Everest reached the Base Camp (BC). It has been raining and snowing here for a week. The first cargo also flew to the BC by helicopter.  As usual, the glacier has changed completely in a year. All the flat places stood on end. We need to level up again.  The participants of Everest-23 arrive in Kathmandu only on April 15. And on the 17th, the start of trekking is scheduled, they will reach the Everest base camp only on April 25. That is, Sherpas can level and iron the glacier for another month. That's the hard work of our Sherpas.

  About a month is left before the start of our climbing programs to the summits of the Himalayan eight-thousandthers. The first to start is the traditional expedition of the 7 Summits Club on Mount Everest under the general leadership of Alexander Abramov.  The main group will work according to the classic program of climbing on the highest peak of the World with full service and maximum possible comfort.  And we will also repeat the successful program "Touching Everest" in the past years, with overcoming the legendary Khumbu icefall and climbing to the Camp 2.  

   This year Nepal will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest in 1953.  The expedition of the 7 Summits Club will follow in the footsteps of the legendary Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. We would like to be present at the celebration at the end of the expedition as full-fledged participants and happy winners!
