A guide of the 7 Summits Club Evgeny Fedyunin reports from Elbrus:

6.08. Hello everyone! The 7 Summits Club group "Moscow Longevity" moved today to the National Park refuge, where we settled very comfortably for the next few days.

Then we went for a walk to the area of the Refuge of Eleven, at an altitude of 4100. There we held classes on the technique of moving on snowy terrain. The weather was not pampering, but we managed and worked everything out.

As always, the cooks pampered us with a wonderful lunch and dinner. It is impossible to lose weight, because it is too delicious!

 Greetings from the slopes of Elbrus! Today our super-group "Birch Ensemble" climbed the slopes of Elbrus and settled in the National Park shelter. And then made an acclimatization hike to the area of Refuge of 11. There we held training snow sessions, where we practiced moving in groups, as well as self-arrest using an ice ax.

The new group called "7YA" sends greetings from the slopes of Mount Cheget! We began our acclimatization with beautiful views and a cool walk along the trail. We traditionally climbed to the "Ai" cafe. It is still warm, but you can already feel autumn coming on the mountain. It is getting colder, sometimes even the snow falls. But basically, everything is great, we are following the plan. Today - the rental point, tomorrow - the ascent to the slopes of Elbrus.

Greetings from Elbrus! Today our new super-creative group called "Birch Ensemble" made its first acclimatization hike. We climbed the slopes of Mount Cheget and one of the most picturesque trails in the area to the "Ai" cafe (2700 m). The weather and the mood of the participants are excellent. Everyone is ready for the next hikes, tomorrow we are climbing the slopes of Elbrus.

5.08. Hello everyone! The new group of the 7 Summits Club called "Moscow Longevity" today made an acclimatization hike to the slopes of Mount Cheget. We climbed a fabulous forest path, admired the Caucasian giant Elbrus! In the legendary cafe "Ai" we tried chebureks and herbal tea. The mood is fire!

Tomorrow, according to the plan, we climb to the shelter of the National Park.

The group "Aunt Charlie" climbed Elbrus today. The hot Brazilians started from 3880 meters (Gara-Bashi) and walked the entire route, without using a snowcat. The ascent took 11 hours in clear weather, but quite a strong wind. Hooray - to the representatives of the BRICS allied state! Viva Brazil!

During the final part, we were accompanied by a strong wind and bright sun - a great time for a photo shoot! Our participants, although without mountaineering experience, turned out to be strong and resilient guys. They deserved the summit!   Greetings from the slopes of Elbrus! Today, our supergroup "Saturation 99" has made its final acclimatization rotation, having reached a serious height for the first time. Namely, we climbed to the top of the Pastukhov Rocks, to a height of about 4,700 meters. The weather was difficult, but we coped with the wind and snow and did what we planned. Greetings from the band "Stretched legs"! Today we went to the Pastukhov Rocks. The weather was borderline, with snow and wind, and occasional clearings. It has already turned cold on the mountain, summer is probably over. Tomorrow we have a rest day and the next night we will go out to storm the summit of Elbrus.  The group of the 7 Summits Club "Stretched legs" sends greetings from the slopes of Elbrus! We went up to the National Park Refuge, settled in comfortable trailers. After that, we walked to area of the Refuge of Eleven, where we conducted snow and ice classes. We went down to the refuge, had a delicious lunch and rested until dinner.

On the first day, we walked along the slopes of Mount Cheget, climbing to an altitude of 2700. Then we ran smartly to Donguz-orun lake. All participants feel great.  On July 26, the group of the 7 Summits Club "First of all, it's beautiful" ascended the summit of Elbrus! At the highest point there was everything: tears, laughter and goosebumps!  We congratulated one of our participants, Tanya Mojina, on her birthday. And our guides threw her even higher than the highest point in Europe! Congratulations to Tanya, congratulations to the whole team!
