The 7 Summits Club team completed next acclimatization rotation and reached the High camp on the slopes of Mount Vinson
The 7 Summits Club guide Artem Rostovtsev reports from Antarctica:
Greetings from the south! We took a walk today while you were still awake. The planned acclimatization day and the work on the fixed ropes toward the assault camp were completed perfectly. Part of the team went with supplies to the High camp, dug out the supplies, and prepared sites for setting up the kitchen and tents. Now everyone is back at the Low camp, resting, digesting the delicious lunch soup, and it looks like everyone is skipping dinner—they found the soup.
Tomorrow is a well-deserved rest day, but something tells me we can't do without a local walk around the area.
