 News of my project "7 summits in 7 months". Greetings from Everest! Today we had a Puja, the consecration of the camp.  It was fun, all smeared with Jampay.  A massage salon was opened today. There was a yoga session after lunch. And at 5 PM, the bar was opened. Many guests from other expeditions come to us.  Today we sent a new caravan of cargo for the higher camps on yaks. Tomorrow we are going to acclimatize to the frozen cascades.

Today our team Everest-2019 came to our super-comfortable "luxury camp". On the way we passed 10 check posts. But nothing bad happened. At the entrance of the camp we were met with champagne. We congratulated Ivan Pominov on his birthday. After a delicious lunch with borscht, there was training to work with oxygen equipment. Then birthday party continued in our bar (cabin company). Today the team sleeps in masks with artificial oxygen…

Today our team had a day full of adventures and impressions.  We moved from Lhasa in Shegar, admired the scenery of Tibet.   Visiting the market was the main thing in the new place.  This is our traditional place to buy blankets and pillows for the base camp.

While one part of our team is already coming to the Everest base camp, the second team yesterday arrived in Lhasa. The members sleep off after the flights, then visited the Potala -  Palace of the Dalai Lama. We bought different differences today.

Construction of a Luxury camp near Everest continues.  We are sure that the best camp on Everest will be built by the arrival of our team. We have developed a new kind of kitchen. It is equipped better than kitchens in restaurants of Kathmandu.  Kitchen is done in the tents form a semicircle, with hardwood floors.  There are made extractor fan, freezers, storerooms. And now we've built wooden floors in all the public tents.

 Need simply to see! Now in the Base camp from Tibet there is a constant electricity 24 hours, so all this has become possible.

 Eight members of the Everest expedition of the 7 Summits Club and two guides took off tonight from Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport.  Their way goes through the Chinese city of Chengdu to the Tibetan capital Lhasa, where they will begin their March to the base camp Everest. Another six members of the expedition arrive by other flights, and a guide Sergey Larin is already in the base camp.

The base camp of the expedition  of the 7 Summits Club on Everest is certainly the best, most comfortable in the Himalayas. The accumulated vast experience in its organization allows the team of our Sherpas  quickly and efficiently recreate it from year to year. Now in the base camp  preparation works  are finishing. By the arrival of the guests, that is, the main part of the expedition, everything will be ready – the camp will be provided with everything necessary…

Dmitry Tertychny in May 2018 climbed the highest peak of the world, Everest, at the age of just over 17 years and 1 month.  He became the youngest European who managed to do it. And the youngest European who managed to complete the program of climbing all the seven highest peaks of the continents. Dmitry owes all his successes, first of all, to his father, Alexander Tertychny, who not only paid for the trips, but was with him on all these mountains. By the 18th anniversary of the hero was prepared this movie. The  7 Summits Club, which was the organizer of the majority of Dmitry's ascents, presents it to you!

 The traditional evening of the meeting of friends of the 7 Summits Club 7 Peaks, dedicated to the departure of the expedition on Everest, took place on the eve, April 10, in the lecture hall of the Club of travelers "Sport Marathon".  Thanks to everyone who came, thanks to the owners!   The atmosphere of the meeting was wonderful, the organization – at the highest level.

The next expedition of the 7 Summits Club to Everest starts in April. By tradition, which is already 15 years old, we are going on the eve of departure of the main group for a friendly evening party. This year we will do it in a new place, with our friends from The Sports-Marathon. Last year they made an incredible feat: they opened a Club of Travelers almost in the center of the capital. In the lecture rooms everything is thought out and well arranged, there is a well-established equipment. The 7 Summits  Club hopes for long-term and fruitful cooperation with the creative team of The Sport-Marathon.

We are waiting for you on April 10, 2019, beginning at 19: 00.

As well as  will be a presentation of the participants of the new expedition, words of farewell from the "veterans". There will be significant guests, there will be interesting stories, inspiring videos. There will be beautiful girls and beautiful men.

On April 6, the team of Sherpas of the 7 Summits Club goes to Tibet, to the base camp of expedition. On April 12, the first participants will arrive in Kathmandu.   On May 15, the main part of the expedition team will fly to Lhasa, from where they will get to the base camp by auto transport.

  Irena Kharazova, famous for her diaries from the expedition to Everest and became the brightest heroine of the film "Gene of Heights", returns with a new project.  After successfully completing the project "Seven Summits" and giving birth the child, as promised in the film,  Irena for some time disappeared from our field of vision. But now she appeared again and comes out with a new bright project – "Seven Super Mounts". Six months ago Irena made a successful ascent to the most beautiful peak of the world - Alpamayo in Peru.

  And now she goes to Kenya to make a difficult technical ascent to the most difficult peak of Africa - Kenya 5200 (peaks Nelion and Batian). Date of trip March 14-21. You can also join a support group and make a simpler ascent in the Kenya massif - to the top of Lenana 4895 at a special price.

Dmitry Tertychny climbed Mount Everest on May 17, 2018, when he was 17 years 1 month and 6 days.  He became one of the youngest climbers in the history of the highest mountain of the planet. At the same time Dmitry simultaneously completed the program "Seven summits", becoming the second youngest age after the American Jordan Romero.

 Alexander Tertychny (father of Dmitry): after returning home, we discussed with Alexander Abramov the further path of the climbers who closed the project "7 summits" and reached the top of the world. With his words, for a large number of amateurs  this is an end  of their climbing carriers. But we decided to go the other way, we started our new project – our goal for today is the highest volcano in North America and the highest mountain in Mexico, Orisaba…

 So ahead of dad and  son  is a few ascents to the highest volcanoes of the continents, and new records.

 Alexander Tertychny (Dmitry's father): "from early childhood we instilled in our son a love for sports. Dima has been playing football since he was five. As part of the football club "Dynamo" he became a two-time champion of Moscow. He has the first category in chess.  We first went to the mountains when he was 12 years old. I'm proud of my son's courage. Not every adult can psychologically and physically overcome all the difficulties we faced while climbing. He knows how to set goals and achieve them»

The President of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov announced plans to establish a new record of speed of climbing all of the "Seven summits".  That is, he intends to climb all the highest peaks of the continents in a total of about six months.  But since the ascent will be carried out from January to July, it can be called "Seven Summits in seven months."

 The project will start on January 1, 2019.  At the same time, Alexander Abramov acts as a guide in all programs. And he gathers groups of climbers.  You have a great chance to join them and climb in good company and under the guidance of the legendary leader, the Prisident of the 7 Summits Club. The project starts in January 2019 and is to be completed in July 2019 by climbing all 7 summits. See the program below…

 The speed record from this year belongs to the Australian Steve Plain -117 days, 6 hours and 50 minutes (from the top to the top).  The previous world achievement of Pole Janusz Kochanski remained the record of Europe - 129 days. The record of Russia now belongs to Masha Gordon - 201 days (October 2015 – June 2016).  It's all climbers who specifically set out to show a record time. Some (short) time the record holder was the famous guide from the USA Vernon Tejas. He completed  the "Seven Summits" in 134 days. However, Vern is on some of the ascents series was not a guide went on vacation.

 So Alexander Abramov claims two records: national - for Russians and  probably World for guides at work.

Today, December 1, at the Gala evening of the Russian Federation of Mountaineering were summed up the final results of the season of climbing Everest 2018. Honorary signs "Climber on Everest" were awarded to climbers who for the first time (for themselves) climbed the highest peak of the World, the heroes of this year! Congratulations!

All  Everest summiters and all friends of the 7 Summits Club are once again invited to the Gala evening of the Russian mountaineering Federation on December 1. Gathering of participants from 17: 00, beginning at 18: 00. There, in particular,  it will be awarded  ceremony  of honorary signs "Climber on Everest"  to heroes of the 2018 season.

 And for one of the heroes, Vasily Shakhnovsky, the award has found a few before. In the plane flying to the far South, Alexander Abramov presented this beautiful award to one of our best friends.

 Vasily Shakhnovsky went with our leaders to explore the South of Africa and the North of Antarctica.

Alexander Abramov: the 7 Summits Club announce new expedition "Everest 2019".  This is the 16th our Everest  Expedition led by Alexander Abramov. And I reached the summit nine times, so I want to do the anniversary climb – for 10^Th time!

And there is a rumor that it will be the last his summit Everest climb …
