Bon Dias! The team "Argentina one love" started from the city of Mendoza to the foot of Aconcagua. Now we are in a glamping of the Penitentes, which is located near the entrance to the Aconcagua National Park. Today we have prepared the luggage to be sent to the Plaza de Mulas and Confluencia. Buenos Dias, seniors and senoritas!  Our group (still untitled) in full force gathered today in the city of Mendoza - the center of winemaking and mountaineering in Argentina. We solved some of the organizational issues, the rest were postponed until tomorrow, because of the time frame. Today our team is inclined to discuss the main goal of our trip – climbing Aconcagua. Hello! Today our super group Mañana, got a well-deserved rest. We spent the day very relaxed: making plans for future ascents, preparing for tomorrow's exit to the Nido de Condores (5500m). New Year greetings, from the slopes of Aconcagua!  Today our Mañana group is the third day on the route. We arrived at the base camp Plaza de Mulas (4300m.) Until today, Aconcagua seemed to me to be a very windy, dusty and hot mountain.  But today, on New Year's Eve, we had snow along the route, and in the base camp we were greeted by real winter. The group coped with the task perfectly. Tomorrow in the New Year we will have a day of rest. Special thanks to our Valerio, for the excellent tea that warmed us up and cheered us up. Hello from Argentina! Our super group Mañana is the second day on the route. Today we made an acclimatization rotation towards the Plaza de Francia, reached an altitude of about 4000m. There we spent some time quite usefully and, having had lunch, began the descent down. On the way to the Confluencia camp, the mountains showed their character - we were caught in the snow with the wind. But now we are already in a cozy dining room, drinking tea.

Buenos Dias! The Coca-Cola 2×5 group successfully acclimatizes before climbing to the highest point of the two Americas. Yesterday we climbed the Nido de Condores, 5600 meters.  We spent the night in a high-altitude camp, and to consolidate the acclimatization process, we climbed to Plaza Berlin, 5900 meters. Today our small but very friendly team continued to acclimatize on the slopes of Aconcagua.  The acclimatization plans included an ascent to Plaza Canada, an altitude of 5000 meters.  Upon returning to the base camp, we learned that Argentina became the World Football champion for the first time in 36 years! Bon Dias!  We are in the Plaza de Mulas!  The Coca-Cola 2×5 group came to the Plaza de Mulas, an altitude of 4,300 meters, this is the Aconcagua base camp. Here we will spend most of our time, simultaneously making radial and acclimatization rotations before storming the summit. The path from Confluencia to Plaza de Mulas is 18 km, with a height difference of 800 meters. The first part of the way passes through the valley of the river without a significant set, and the second part of the way, from where the camp is visible, passes through the rugged terrain of the western slope of Aconcagua.  We are resting today.  We are recovering.  The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Viktor Volodin.

Buenos  Dias! The Coca-Cola 2 ×5 group, after the first night at 3500, in Confluencia camp, to consolidate acclimatization, made rotation towards Plaza France, climbing to a height of 4000 meters. We did not reach the Place France itself, as it takes 6 hours to go there in one direction.  We decided to save energy, because tomorrow we have to climb to the Plaza de Mulas, and this is already 4,300 meters and 18 kilometers over rough terrain, sometimes meeting with herds of mules, and in the heat above 30 degrees.  After returning from a walk, there was a daytime siesta, after which there was a mandatory medical check giving permission to move to the next camp.  The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Viktor Volodin.

Bon Dias!  Our Coca Cola 2×5 group started the walking part of the way to the Aconcagua base camp, Plaza de Mulas. After we registered at the entrance to the Aconcagua National Park, we had to come to our place of residence for the next three days – the Confluencia camp. We covered a distance of 7.5 km in 3 hours with halts and photo sessions of the surroundings and local birds. The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Viktor Volodin.

And here we are again gathering here, on the other side of the world in the Southern Hemisphere, when we have a cold winter in Russia, there is always sunshine, lots of light and warmth, delicious tart wine and the best steaks, endless pampas and numerous mountain peaks, amazingly beautiful snow-capped summits and fantastic glaciers, unique Patagonia and Iguazu waterfalls... It's all about Argentina, of course! The team of guides of the 7 Summits Club gathered in Mendoza yesterday on the eve of the upcoming season in Aconcagua, and it promises to be long and eventful.  By the end of February, dozens of lucky people will try to realize their dreams with us. Aconcagua, 6962 m, always attracts climbers with its exclusivity - the highest point of America, the second highest peak of the Seven Summits program, a unique corner of the world in the Andes mountain system. And we have a lot to do to ensure that our groups receive everything necessary for the successful completion of the program. In the next few days we will reactivate our casts, check all the equipment, buy the necessary equipment and food for high-quality operation of the Base and high-altitude camps.  There is a lot of work to be done, and we will do everything possible, put our whole soul into providing our groups with the highest level of service. If you still have doubts about participating in the ascent program on Aconcagua, discard them! We are waiting for you!

  Yesterday, a big meeting of friends of the 7 Summits Club took place in the lecture hall of the Sports Marathon Travelers Club.  The program included the presentation of Alexander Abramov's book "The Height-Altitude  Gene" and the first ever presentation of orders “Seven Summits”.  The hall was crowded, and everyone showed great interest in what was happening "on stage".  The procedure for awarding orders has turned into a solemn presentation of outstanding personalities, such are the heroes, the climbers of all "Seven Summits".   

 The Order of the Seven Summits is an honorary award to climbers who have climbed the highest peaks of all seven continents of our planet. In total, there are almost half a thousand people who have completed it.  There are already about fifty of them in the list of Russians. The first number in it is the famous Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov, who completed the program back in 1997.

  The presentation of the badge of honor, which is called the order, is a long-standing idea of the president of the 7 Summits Club company, Alexander Abramov, who, by the way, has already completed the program three times. Finally, the idea that the climbers of the "SevenSummits" are worthy of a separate award has been brought to life.  And the heroes who have passed through all continents, climbed to their highest peaks, received a beautiful order!  The 7 Summits Club plans to make the solemn procedure of awarding the Seven Summits Orders traditional. After all, the award can only be received in person, not everyone could be in Moscow that evening. Well, we are waiting for new heroes, the mountains are calling and waiting for us!
