Hi, Seven Summits! It is Artem Rostovtsev. We are now in the Barafu camp. At the moment we have dawn, we admire them. We have not overslept, woke up on time and  already went to the summit and come down. It was very easy to go. We decided that the slow pace even begin to ruin us in high altitude. Why be here  a lot of time? We decided to watch the sunrise in the Barafu camp. I think it happens so rarely. We went unscathed, healthy, rest a couple of hours and go down. Greetings from Tanzania, from Kilimanjaro! Artem Rostovtsev

They were a group of 5-people, including a child of 13 years, successfully climbed the highest peak in Africa. It was not easy, but they have coped! Congratulations guys with their first summit and wish continued climbing.

Comments and farewell climbers followed by Philippe Yalovega.

  1. Good equipment is very important! We need good equipment with membrane that protects you from wind, dust and moisture.

  1. Thin puff (the bottom layer under the membrane) for the assault enough.

  1. Good hiking boot that kept the ankle, it is necessary to Throughout the route (with the lowest camps).

  1. Sleeping need really good (at -15-20 in comfort)! This is veryimportant!

  1. We must always listen to the recommendations of guides: drink more water, go slowly, etc ..

  1. It makes sense to go after climbing to a glacier to do beautiful pictures.

  1. It is important to go to the assault and day transitions during that meet the sunrise is on the edge of the crater, and not on the slopes, and to have time to enjoy the surrounding views in daylight.

  1. The seven-day program climbing (with an extra day acclimatization) - is the salvation! Without much experience considered short program makes no sense !!!

Comments from 7 Summits Club:

"We always pay attention to the importance of the equipment and importance

implement the recommendations of the guides, but the final understanding, as a rule,

It occurs only on the route. Preparation is very important. "

"It is important to choose the ascent route on Kilimanjaro properly taking into account the experience of the participants of the mountain! It affects the chances of a successful ascent, the health of participants and the general impression of the trip."

Man who is not born of my mother, I can call my brother only when we  were together, shoulder to shoulder, and we passed some extreme  test of body and spirit.

With Victor we passed a merciless slaughter, reached so desired summit and descended into the mountain goats mode, so that the sand on teeth I heard even during lunch

We've done it, my black Bro! Black-and-white brothers)

"Kilimanjaro Marathon" took place on February 28 in the Tanzanian town of Moshi in the 14 th time. This time it was attended by about 10 thousand people. Of these, about one thousand were foreigners (from 44 countries). Probably for the first time among them there were representatives of Russia and Ukraine, and it was members of our group of 7 Summits Club. All the prizes was won by athletes from neighboring Kenya. In men, the first was 31-year-old Kiprotich Kirui with a time of 2: 16.43. For women won Alice Kibora - 2: 38.03. The  Guide  of the 7 Summits Club Artem Rostovtsev was also as a kind of a winner - he was ahead of all runners with white skin (Mzungu). All of our  people finished and deserve congratulations! 7 Summits Club congratulates the heroes!

We want to note that during New Year period (mid Dec 2015 to mid January 2016) 9 groups with a total of 39 people climbed on Kilimanjaro with the "7 Summits Club".

Group climbed from different sides of the volcano, by the route - Marangu, Machame, Lemosho with local Tanzanian and Russian guides.

For someone Kilimanjaro was the first summit, for others it was the next peak after Everest. The youngest participant was 14 years old, the most experienced - 70. They also reached the top of Africa.

32 persons of 39 reached the highest point in Africa (Uhuru peak 5895 m), it is about 84% of successful ascents.

"My comment is simple. It is excellent opportunity to change cardinally ambience - other continent, the southern hemisphere, new stars in the sky, people with other skin color, this left-hand traffic on roads, and the wild tremendous nature!
