 News of the Elbrus region.  Our group went up to the refuge National Park. Here we will be preparing for the ascent for several days. Today we have mastered the skills of climbing in crampons on snowy slopes and learned how to use ice axes in case of a breakdown on the slope. Tomorrow we go to the Pastukhov Rocks.

 News of the Elbrus region. A new group began preparations for climbing Elbrus. Today we went to the Ai cafe, on the slope of Cheget Mountain. The morning turned out to be rainy, so we shifted the exit time so as not to get wet through before reaching Cheget. We climbed along a picturesque forest path that smoothly crossed the Alpine meadows. When we passed under the cable car, we heard encouraging wishes from tourists climbing up. After spending some time in the Ai cafe, we went back to the hotel, from where we went to rent the necessary equipment after lunch. Tomorrow we will go up to the refuge, where we will continue to prepare for the ascent.

News of the Elbrus region. The group "We don't change habits" is on the top of Elbrus! We did it, no matter what! More precisely, we did it to spite the weather. The forecast promised sunshine and a light breeze, but we got a fog cap and wind gusts of 40 km/h. The result:  only 10 minutes of a photo shoot at the top.

Greetings from the Elbrus region! Today our group in difficult weather conditions made an ascent on Elbrus. We climbed to its Western peak (5642m.).

News of the Elbrus region. The group "We do not change habits" in preparation for the ascent made an acclimatization rotation to the Pastukhov rocks. The weather in the first half of the day was clear, in places it was even hot on the rise (it was summer after all), after lunch the weather deteriorated, a light snowfall and wind. Today we are resting, preparing for the ascent tomorrow.

News of the Elbrus region. The group "We do not change habits" climbed to the National Park shelter, where it will stay for several days. We went to snow and ice classes, where we mastered the skills of movement in crampons, self-arrest with an ice pick and moving the slope in ropes. Tomorrow we go to the Pastukhov Rocks, we will try a new height.

 News of the Elbrus region. The group "We do not change habits" began acclimatization on the slopes of Cheget.  We went to the Ai cafe.  We drank mountain tea, ate local hychins and chebureks. We took lots and lots of photos and went down to the hotel. In the afternoon we took the necessary equipment.  Tomorrow we will go to the National Park Refuge, where we will spend three days and continue to acclimatize.

Greetings from the group "International team"! We did it! We went to the top ahead of time, without a day of rest. We decided that we had enough strength, and saved a little time. The weather was constantly changing, there was wind and snow, but it didn't stop us. The program is over, the order has been awarded!

News of the Elbrus region.  The group "From dream to reality" in full force climbed the Western peak of Elbrus, 5642 meters. After several days of the cyclone, the weather improved, and from summit we saw stunning views of the Main Caucasian Ridge, as well as the mountainous regions of Georgia and the foothills of the Caucasus from the Russian side.

  Greetings from the Elbrus region! Today our super-group "Height", in full force, made an ascent of Mount Elbrus (5642m.). This was our second attempt, the first time the weather, namely the wind, turned us from a height of 5280m..  But we used this unsuccessful exit as another acclimatization, but to the higher altitude. This gave us an advantage when climbing.  The weather on the second ascent was excellent, the moment of sunrise and the view of the Main Caucasian Ridge simply amazed with its splendor and fascinated with cosmic colors. The team members got a lot of positive emotions and are now ready for the next adventures.

News of the Elbrus region. The group "From dreams to Reality" continues to acclimatize. Today (July 12) we climbed the Pastukhov Rocks.  And we experienced all the charm and severity of the mountain climate. The first third of the route was in fairly comfortable conditions, and the weather was normal until 12 o'clock. But when we went above the rock ridges, the wind and snow became our companions to the very top of the rocks.  But, no matter what, we have achieved our goals for the day.  Tomorrow we plan to rest and prepare for the ascent.

 The group "Franciacorta" today completed its program by climbing the summit of Elbrus. The weather was very borderline, the wind and snow did not leave us alone all the way. It poured in a couple of days very well, but, as they say, we still got into a small weather "window". Before this day and after it, the weather was not promised at all. We tried our best. And half of the group reached the top.

Hi! The Snow Fishes group has successfully ascended to the top of Mount Elbrus! The weather is great, the mood is super!

 Greetings to the group "Franciacorta", going to Mount Elbrus!  Today we walked on the Pastukhov Rocks.  The weather deteriorated all the way and under the rocks in 5 minutes we were covered with grits and, of course, a thunderstorm. It pinched us a little, but we left without loss.  We are waiting for a good forecast and go out on the summit…

News of the Elbrus region! The Victory group has successfully climbed to the top of Elbrus. The weather favored us throughout the journey. Hi! Today we are well done again, our group "Vertical" made an ascent to the Western peak of Elbrus (5642m.) The weather and our mood were great, we climbed to the top of Elbrus at a good pace. And the reward for this was unforgettable views of the Main Caucasian Ridge, and the vast expanses of the Northern Elbrus.

Greetings to the group "Franciacorta", going to Mount Elbrus! Today our gang-team walked to the Shelter of Eleven. There we held snow classes, we learned to distinguish sticks from an ice axe. The weather is gorgeous, we continue to go towards the goal.

Greetings from the new group "Franciacorta", going to Mount Elbrus. Today our first acclimatization day was held on the slopes of Mount Cheget. We walked in good weather with beautiful flowers and views.

News of the Elbrus. The Victory group climbed up to the Pastukhov Rocks today. A light breeze and the sun accompanied us throughout the journey. Tomorrow we have a rest day before climbing to the summit of Elbrus.

Greetings from the slopes of snow-white Elbrus! Today was an important and responsible day for us.  Our group "Vertical" has made its first ascent to a serious height, and this is the top of the Pastukhov Rocks - 4700m. The weather was accompanied by a successful ascent, we walked at a good pace and the reward for this was wonderful views. Tomorrow we have a rest and a night out to storm the summit.
