Alexander Abramov, President of  the 7 Summits Club:

August 28^th  at 5:30 we climbed to the top of Mount Elbrus with artificial oxygen. In preparation for the expedition Everest 2018, the team of  the 7 Summits Club held a new "Oxygen Experiment". Without pre-acclimatization, two climbers  with artificial oxygen and two guides climbed for 4 hours from Pastukhov Rocks to the top.

I believe that the use of artificial oxygen can make the mountain more accessible to the common climbers. In particular, this tool can be used for quick ascents (programs Blitz), when climbers simply no time for gradual acclimatization...

Dmitry Ermakov, a guide of the 7 Summits Club: the Explorers group from South Africa climbed Mount Elbrus. Six of the eight climbers reached the top. The weather was terrible. The wind is 50 kms per hour and visibility of 5 meters. But everyone was happy!

All night there was  snowfall, but by the time of the group  closed to the top the weather had given us a gift in the form of a clear blue sky over the summit, with almost no wind!

Hello! Here is a guide of 7 Summits Club Vladimir Kotlyar..... Behind me is the Brazilian team of  the 7 Summits Club. We summited  Mount Elbrus (5 Brazilians, including a blind man). And I close this season... to relax before coming season in the Himalayas...

Hello! This is Vladimir Kotlyar, a guide of  the 7 summits Club.

Today is the second acclimatization and training day for two our international groups on the Elbrus - directly on the slopes of this big mountain. We are working at a height of 4100,  near the refuge of the Eleven, learn to right way of falling, how to slow down using the ice axe.

Vladimir Kotlyar with a group from Brazil had an acclimatization walk to the waterfall "Girlish braids". And another international group under the leadership of Andrey Berezin climbed the slopes of mount Cheget...

Guide of the 7 summits Club in the Elbrus region Andrey Berezin: Today there was a busy day for the group "Masha and bears". In the morning Elbrus showed his temper and wind reached gusts of 50 km / h. Therefore, we applied the method of transportation of the yacht techniques, namely the tacks! After a while the wind dropped to 30 km / h as the forecast promised. And we immediately felt better and ran. On the way, we fixed ropes for safety of us and other groups. In the end, we reached the top at 10.15...

A group called "7-I" today climbed the Western  summit of Mount Elbrus... the Weather was good enough, all the participants reached the highest point and happily went down to the hotel. On the way, we remembered that today was Bastille Day, for us, it was held not in vain.
