Construction of a Luxury camp near Everest continues.  We are sure that the best camp on Everest will be built by the arrival of our team. We have developed a new kind of kitchen. It is equipped better than kitchens in restaurants of Kathmandu.  Kitchen is done in the tents form a semicircle, with hardwood floors.  There are made extractor fan, freezers, storerooms. And now we've built wooden floors in all the public tents.

 Need simply to see! Now in the Base camp from Tibet there is a constant electricity 24 hours, so all this has become possible.

 Eight members of the Everest expedition of the 7 Summits Club and two guides took off tonight from Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport.  Their way goes through the Chinese city of Chengdu to the Tibetan capital Lhasa, where they will begin their March to the base camp Everest. Another six members of the expedition arrive by other flights, and a guide Sergey Larin is already in the base camp.

The base camp of the expedition  of the 7 Summits Club on Everest is certainly the best, most comfortable in the Himalayas. The accumulated vast experience in its organization allows the team of our Sherpas  quickly and efficiently recreate it from year to year. Now in the base camp  preparation works  are finishing. By the arrival of the guests, that is, the main part of the expedition, everything will be ready – the camp will be provided with everything necessary…

The next expedition of the 7 Summits Club to Everest starts in April. By tradition, which is already 15 years old, we are going on the eve of departure of the main group for a friendly evening party. This year we will do it in a new place, with our friends from The Sports-Marathon. Last year they made an incredible feat: they opened a Club of Travelers almost in the center of the capital. In the lecture rooms everything is thought out and well arranged, there is a well-established equipment. The 7 Summits  Club hopes for long-term and fruitful cooperation with the creative team of The Sport-Marathon.

As well as  will be a presentation of the participants of the new expedition, words of farewell from the "veterans". There will be significant guests, there will be interesting stories, inspiring videos. There will be beautiful girls and beautiful men.

On April 6, the team of Sherpas of the 7 Summits Club goes to Tibet, to the base camp of expedition. On April 12, the first participants will arrive in Kathmandu.   On May 15, the main part of the expedition team will fly to Lhasa, from where they will get to the base camp by auto transport.

The best camp

 Only a few days left before start of expedition of the 7 Summits Club on Everest,. Preparations are underway in Moscow, but most of them are going on in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, under the direction of our permanent “Director of Sherpas” Mingma Gelu.

 The pride of the 7 Summits Club is our team of Sherpas. It began to take shape in 2003. Thanks to the hard work, above all, the permanent leader of the expeditions, Alexander Abramov, an efficient, friendly team was created.  They clearly understand  their role and knows how to help climbers to achieve their goal. This year, 24 employees from Nepal, Sherpa nationality, will be  sent to Tibet with us to work as guides, high-altitude porters and cooks. They received a new set of clothes and are finishing preparations for going to the base camp.

Alexander Abramov: the 7 Summits Club announce new expedition "Everest 2019".  This is the 16th our Everest  Expedition led by Alexander Abramov. And I reached the summit nine times, so I want to do the anniversary climb – for 10^Th time!

And there is a rumor that it will be the last his summit Everest climb …

Please find here photos from the climb on Shisha Pangma, summit day - 29th of September. Climbers: Sergey Larin, Zygmunt Berdychowski, Igor Smirnov. Due to the impending bad weather, we decided to go to the summit instead of the second acclimatization rotation.

Now we have already gone down to ABC (6400). We ordered a Yak caravan to return on 2th of October ... Wait for us at home!

Lyudmila Korobeshko: Hurray! There is the summit of Cho-Oyu! On September 28 at 11 am our team climbed the sixth highest peak of the World - Cho-Oyu! Our team: Irina Zisman, Dmitry Ghinculov, three of our brave Sherpa - Pasang, Dorjee and Norbu, and I, Lyudmila Korobeshko, the leader of the expedition. It was not easy: wind, cold, height. But we overcame everything!

  Hi!  There is Lyudmila Korobeshko from the Cho-Oyu expedition. So, yesterday, September 28, our team stood on top of Cho-Oyu, the sixth highest mountain in the world. Dmitry Ghinkulov, Irina Zisman, Lyudmila Korobeshko and our three Sherpas, without whom the expedition would have been much more difficult. In principle, we were lucky with the weather. Although not everything was so simple.  The wind was strong, it was cold. And also we got a night in a traffic jam due to the large Chinese team. We all bravely overcame it and climbed to the top of Cho-Oyu. Yesterday we went down from the top to camp 1 and spent the night at 6400.

 Today I'm calling from our actual base camp, ABC camp, at 5700 altitude. We are ready to accept congratulations… Tomorrow, September 30, we are already going down and are already leaving for civilization.

Hello, Seven Summits! Take news from Shisha Pangma! Today at 8:30, Sergei Larin, Zygmunt Berdychowski and Igor Smirnov, that is, all members, as well as all the Sherpas climbed to the top of Shisha Pangma. ……

Now we have already gone down to 7500, this is our Third camp, where we came out at 3:30 today. Now we'll pack up and go down.…

We plan today to spend the night at 6400 ... Yaks are  ordered on 2-3 October ....

 Shisha Pangma 2018. 12, 13, 14 day expeditions. Stay in the ABC.

 On Friday and Saturday, 21 and 22 September, the weather got a little worse, at night and sometimes in daytime it was snowing. This fact did not prevent us from actively exploring the surroundings of ABC: we went down to a lake and walked to the glacier.

 Today, Sunday, the weather is getting better. In the morning we held a Puja-a ceremony of consecration of the camp.

 We are preparing to make the second acclimatization rotation with overnight at Camp II at the height of 7100, we expect that ropes to be fixed. Today we plan to arrange a bath day.

 Despite the fact that our camp is almost at the height of Elbrus (5600), wild (feathered) life here is in full swing. Who croaks, who tweets, who whistles. Our Sirdar Nima lures next to her tent, mountain partridges snowcocks.  These are large poorly flying birds the size of a bigger chicken.  Now the snowcocks are running in herds around our camp, croaking and eating the remains of popcorn...

Greetings from the Cho-Oyu team! The expedition  continues. Yesterday we went down after a night at 7100. The acclimatization stage is over. Now we rest and wait for the weather.  The route has not yet been made, as long as the fixed ropes are only up to camp 2, 7100. Weather turned bad. Nothing is clear yet.

We went down below ABC camp on the day of rest to catch the net. And it managed to be done.   So look at the photos, how we climbed to the camp 1 on 6400. Today we rest. Tomorrow we leave for three days in camps 1 6400 m and 2 7100 m.

Sergey Larin, the head of the expedition 7 Summits Club on Shisha Pangma:

 The sixth day of the expedition  group "Shisha Pangma-2018" arrived at the base camp at an altitude of 5000 meters. From the village of Xegar we got to BC for 3.5 hours, and 17 km moving on a dirt road.  On the turn of route  we took pictures at the sign "Shisha Pangma".

 Our Sherpas ' team was waiting for us in the base camp. The camp is fully prepared for a comfortable stay. And our Sherpas are already preparing the expedition cargo for shipment to the ABC camp.

All members feel well and prepare for the next stage of acclimatization.

Greetings from Lhasa, from Lyudmila Korobeshko and team climbing Cho-Oyu!  The third day of our expedition began. Yesterday, as promised, we attended a historic show about the Chinese Princess Wencheng and her arrival in Tibet. Today we leave Lhasa and drive to Shigatse, where we buy everything for a good night's sleep - blankets, pillows and wine.

 The most famous Princess of China and Tibet Wencheng, revered by the Tibetans as the goddess of mercy, saw us off with a smile and a kind words. By the way, the mountain we are going to is translated as "the Goddess of turquoise". Beautiful!

Lyudmila Korobeshko, head of the expedition, from Lhasa: Group Cho-Oyu-2018 arrived in Lhasa.  The captain of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov decided to conduct our expedition to Lhasa. Next, we will move on our own. Irina Zisman and Dmitry Ghinculov feel fine, a height of 3700 has no visible problems…

 In September, the 7 Summits Club organizes two expeditions to Himalayan eight-thousanders Cho-Oyu and Shisha Pangma! 

 September 5^th the expedition to Cho-Oyu starts under the leadership of our Director, Lyudmila Korobeshko. The group consists of three members and a leader. And on September 10^th  Sergey Larin's team goes after them. Our irreplaceable doctor of Everest expeditions and honored guide leads the expedition to Shisha Pangma.  This will be the first attempt of the 7 Summits Club to climb this mountain.

Valdis Pelsh's crew joined the Russian climbers' expedition to Everest, in order to climb the highest mountain in the world. The first expedition was interrupted by a series of earthquakes. In 2016 the group returned to the foot of Everest to tell the story of the conquests and to show the whole process of climbing the main peak on planet Earth.
