Guide of the 7 Summits Club Valery Myasoedov:

Namaste from Kathmandu!  The first group trekking to Everest BC is here. Someone had almost the whole day to enjoy the exotic squares and palaces of the capital and the drilling of the Thamel, someone arrived literally on the flag...  But tomorrow at 6: 15 there will be a flight to Lukla. Early rise in 4.15 was perceived with a little inspiration, but with a great understanding! After all, tomorrow is the start  of that everyone had been waiting for long and to which so prepared.

Meeting at the airport.  As always, we are the most visible!

How can you look so spiritual after the flight Magadan - Moscow - Doha-Kathmandu, we must ask Natalia and Constantine!

No wonder Anton has almost 7000 followers on Instagram! The smile makes the man!...

Cable hubs of Thamel. One of the local attractions. Never ceases to amaze!...

Well, it is Thamel! Boiling cauldron, nothing has changed!...

The name of the group early negotiation to all participants! Greet! A Group Of Harmless Beginners!...

The first interview was Harmless Beginners! They are  employees of the Irkutsk laboratory…

A whole army of our Sherpas, local guides, high-altitude porter, cooks and their assistants received new sets of clothes made by Red Fox. It is a proper form for working in severe high altitude conditions. Judging by their faces, the new things suited to taste. Beautiful clothes oblige to good work, so we believe.

Alexander Abramov, President of Club 7 Vershin, leader of the expedition to Everest:

This year we are making a more comfortable base camp – Luxury Camp, as we call it. We deliver and put new spacious tents with beds, heaters and a work table. Also, we are waiting for a new level of our cuisine, because our beloved Chef from Antarctica Patricio has already come to us. The whole expedition is ready. This year we have 20 participants, 7 guides and 6 cooks. And 35 Sherpas. We have the largest expedition on Everest in 2018.

The experience of our 14 expeditions to Everest suggests the following: conditions of rest during acclimatization are essential for success. The climber should restore his strength as much as possible, should not get sick, should keep his high moral spirit and desire to go to the end. To do this, we are building a comfortable base camp, for this purpose we engaged in the preparation of cooks, for this all entertainments, the entire organization of leisure. There is no worse, when climbers after  hard exits huddle in cramped tents, eating monotonous canned food and not knowing what to do in days of rest.

Alexander Abramov, President of the 7 Summits Club, the expedition leader on Everest:

I have just returned from Nepal, where I had gone to check the readiness of our expedition Everest 2018. This year we are doing more comfortable base camp - Luxury camp, as we call it. We deliver new spacious tents with beds, heaters and a desk. We are also waiting to reach a new level of our cuisine, because our favorite chef from Antarctica Patricio came to help us. The whole expedition is ready. This year we have 20 participants, 7 guides and 6 cooks. And 35 Sherpas as high-altitude guides and porters. It is the largest expedition on Mount Everest in 2018.

Dî you want to know what other surprises have prepared tireless Alex Abramov for the upcoming expedition to Everest this spring? See below for sensational news!

Soon we are going to farewell an expedition of 7 Summits Club on Everest. We wish them good luck, that is, weather and health. And good service we must provide…

Lyudmila Korobeshko tells:

When Alex began bringing Sherpas to Russia 10 years ago to Elbrus for the purpose of teaching Russian language and mentality, it was unusual.

When Alex began to bring Sherpas cooks to Moscow to teach Russian and Ukrainian culinary delights - t was surprising, but also interesting and understandable.

After all the bortsch and cutlets in the base camp of Everest please everyone.

But when Alex said that he had invited a professional chef to his expedition this year... and  from Chile!!!, I ... hardly surprised ... after all these beds in camps, bar tents, yoga studios, Jacuzzi and masseuses...

By the way, those who were in Antarctica should remember Patricio. This cheerful cook, swearing in Russian.

Colorful Chilean Patricio. He has been working for many seasons in Antarctica at the Union Glacier and worked for several seasons on Russian cruise liners, where he learned expressive Russian.

In General, it should be a lot of fun and very tasty!

Less than a month remains before the departure on Everest of the team of  the 7 Summits Club under the leadership of Alexander Abramov. It will be our 15th expedition, and it will be the largest in terms of quantity, almost 40 people.  But equally important are changes in quality of service. Experience shows that the percentage of successful ascents in expeditions directly depends on the conditions in which the participants are placed, how comfortable is their rest, on the quality of food and service in general.

Therefore, from year to year our base camp is becoming more and  more comfortable, we come up with new types of affordable services, new forms of leisure, trying to improve communication and so on. This year, for the first time in the history of Everest base camps, the 7 Summits Club will provide members of our expedition with individual tents equipped with full beds, lighting and a separate room with a work desk. In addition, we will again improve our places of social pastime, we will have a full bar, sauna and massage salon…

Listen for yourself head (for the 16th time) Everest expedition Alexander Abramov (in Russian):

Everest "luxury camp»

Luxury camp

In the base camp we will have large heated tents, at the rate of one per person. In the first room there will be a table, a chair, lighting, a charge for gadgets - you can sit and work on a computer. In the second room - a bedroom, which is an elongated (210 cm) bed with a 12 cm mattress, and a wardrobe for storing personal belongings. Floors are covered with carpets, and oil heaters will contribute to a comfortable rest.

Also on the territory of the camp will be installed "pub" - a huge 12-meter tent with a pool table, poufs and drinks.

According to comments, some climbers dream of Everest about massage in the base camp. Well - the impossible – is possible! This year the team of the 7 Summits Club  will organize a small salon of sports massage!

On March 2, Alexander Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko showed themselves to the St. Petersburg audience. At the invitation of our friends from the company "Red Fox" they performed in the store Planet Sport. The lecture was originally supposed to be dedicated to the speed record set by team Alpari, headed by Lyudmila Korobeshko in 2012. But Alexander Abramov at the last moment introduced the topic adjustments. "Seven Summits in seven weeks. The impossible is possible" - at first I thought that it was some kind of joke.  Trekking to Everest base camp – what could be simpler? Well, what is there to write? What are the secrets to open in the space, trampled by millions of feet? What unprecedented to put photos of the places where all views captured thousands of times? Yes, winter conditions make this route more freely, and instead of a great number of tourists on the trails there are separate groups. The weather becoming clearer, the air more transparent, the mercury in the thermometer shrinks and creeps down, but the essence consists in the fact that it is the most popular and isogeny route in the Himalayas, remains the same.

For me, this was the fifth trekking in the Himalayas. I have to admit that the grandiose types I've had the opportunity to see other parts of Nepal, though a gigantic wall of Lhotse-Nuptse live makes a lasting impression, despite the fact that its outlines painfully familiar after hundreds a long time before-seen photos. And the view from Kalapathar is also amazing. We were surprised by the weather, presenting a myriad of crystal clear days without a cloud in the sky day and night. Of course, not without snow, which, it seems, wore an official event, purely for show and filling the statistics of precipitation, which in January, although minimal, but still not zero…

The expedition to Laos comes the last day. We have done a lot, most importantly - what had all planned, just slightly changing the plan. On the last day of trekking we went to two small peaks, enjoyed the view from the top point. Next, we moved to Luangprabang, it is the ancient capital of Laos. There are many Buddhist temples, it is a former Royal residence. And around is something to see, we went to a waterfall, rode on elephants.

I have long dreamed of going off trek around Dhaulagiri - this is one of the cult mountains, objectively, and for me personally. It has a long and complex history of first ascent, in fact, it is the last conquered eight-thousandth (not including artificially "closed" Shisha Pangma). Many interesting stories are connected with Dhaulagiri, its huge walls are elevated to an incredible relative height, more than Everest, not without reason it was considered for about half a century the highest peak of the world.

I really wanted to see Dhaulagiri a few years ago, from Muktinath, when I finished the way around Annapurna. But the bad weather did not give a chance to see anything behind the low, swirling clouds. And then I decided that this is a sign. And I have to go to Dhaulagiri.
