 News of the expedition "Manaslu 2017 - 7 Summits Club".

Today there  was a  nightmare night.  Wet snow  knocked down tents, broken the tent where Sherpas live, broken tent-sauna. Dr. Larin’s tent collapsed and crushed him with snow, so he thought that is an avalanche. All night we spentt, knocking the snow from  inside, dumping snow and save tents from destruction.

In the morning it was raining. But after breakfast  the sun was out and we were able to organize the Puja - opening  ceremony of the base camp. The tents are all restored. Our camp is a very comfortable. Tomorrow we will have training on ice. The next day - the first exit to the camp 1.

Beautiful woman Eugene climbed to the top of Mount Kazbek! And the 7 Summits Club closes season of summer ascents of 2017 in Georgia. Join us in 2018! We invite for winter ski touring and next summer on standard, proven program!

Today the team of the 7 summits Club moved to the Base Camp. Height - 4800м. Our Sherpas did their best and built a great camp, just super. Tomorrow I will send photos of the camp, and now sent our travel notes. We're all OK!

Today it was a great day. We met a Horse-a Centipede! We walked to the monastery at 4050m for acclimatization. The views were so fantastic, see below!

Tomorrow we go to the Base camp of Manaslu. Wait for new stories…

Diary of the expedition to Manaslu 2017 - the 7 summits Club.

Today morning started with the screaming on the street. At first I thought that there is always here in the morning. But when I got up and went outside, it was impossible to pass. The whole yard was crowded with porters, who fought for the right to carry our loads and loads of neighboring expeditions in the Base camp. After Breakfast we met Mingma and Zygmunt. They arrived by helicopter. Now the whole team  is together. And we went on acclimatization up the canyon - to the village of Samdo 3800m. On the way we saw yaks and DZO. Saw the Sherpas are building a new home. And how two Yaks are fighting…

Today the team of 7 summits Club successfully flew by helicopter to the village Samagaun 3500m, at the foot of Mount Manaslu. Here we found several expeditions, the work is in full for shipping packages to the Base Camp.  Amd we met a very pleasant atmosphere of Nepalese village. Our mountain is visible above us. Here we will spend 3 nights and 12th September we are planning to go to Base camp, where we are waiting by our Sherpas and cook. Today the Sherpas went to lift loads to Camp 1 and Camp 2. So that means, the expedition really began. The weather is good. Ropes are  already fixed to the camp 3.

That was my last day in Kathmandu. I'm not swimming, not sunbathing - all day I was getting Internet modem Thuraya IP+. The result  there will be  Internet at the Base camp! Ours! Personally! Only for us. The speed of 444 Kbps / second. Wait for the messages, calls via Skype and photos. Tomorrow at 5:30 in the morning, we fly by helicopter to the Base camp of Manaslu. Onward and upward!

Today we met the main part of our team. Now almost all expedition climbers are here. Then we gave our personal goods to the helicopter for lifting it to the base camp. We worked for a movie, and simply enjoyed the meeting. And, of course, there was a briefing, where we discussed all the details of the forthcoming difficult climb.

Alexander Abramov, expedition leader: Today the second part of the team of 7 summits Club came to Kathmandu. They are  our guides and movie crew. All team members are very happy to be back in Nepal. And that baggage is not lost on the road. Expedition leader Alexander Abramov met a team with a misted bottle of champagne. We drank for the visit and for the birth of a new guide - Yaroslav Kotlyar.

Alexander Abramov from Nepal: in the program of preparation for expedition Everest 2018, we received a permit  for "7 Summits Club"  for Manaslu 8156 m. All the goods of the expedition, 8 Sherpas and 2 cooks have already been delivered by helicopter to the Base camp. 13 members - a lucky number. Expedition leader Alexander Abramov and Sergei Larin as a doctor.

Ladakh is all forgiving atmosphere of real Tibetan Buddhism is multifaceted, multinational Leh, where I live next to Hindus, Tibetans, Ladakhi, Chinese,

-  friendly and smiling people,

- place where the phone is not useful to you,

- a mix of Indian, Tibetan, Chinese and European cuisine

- a clear sense of intimacy-guarded borders with patrolling helicopters and the Indian border

 and of course is mountains, which have a variety of colors - green, gray, brown, red, lilac, white.

Stok Kangri is currently not allowed me  be on the top.

But Leh did not want to let go. First the trip to the airport in Leh, the staff do not want to register on the flight, explaining that the system does not confirm my tickets.

There is a reason to come back.

Sergei Motorin successfully reached the summit of Mount Kazbek. The second our climber Alfiya was forced to turn around before reaching the highest point. The weather was good only a short time, the group reached the summit in heavy fog. The descent was long. The group went down to the meteostation only to seven o'clock in the evening, at dusk…

August 6th,  representatives of the 7 Summits Club Dmitry Khodak and NadejdaUsovich in the group company Aksay successfully climbed to the top of Lenin Peak. Congratulations! Season at Lenin Peak continues. Interest in this mountain this year has increased. With excellent service, our company  has this year almost one hundred percent success.

Hello! Abramov Alexander informs  directly from the summit  of Lenin peak. Second team of the 7 Summits Club climbed to the top. It  is Belkovich Vladimir, Sasha Utvenko, Sasha Sobolenko, Natasha Matusova and their guide Abramov Alexander. So.... Perfect weather, visibility, in fact, "thousand upon thousand", almost no wind. We're very, very lucky...

We spent two extra nights in the high camps. But we were lucky to catch the weather. Well done! Yay! Our epic peak Lenin for this year is over. I hope to come down alive and well at base camp. Bye!

Hello! This is Alex Abramov from Lenin peak. Yesterday there was very bad weather, the 4th of August. It was snowing hard,  it was a furious wind. Today the wind calms down, the weather is good, no clouds. Today, our team moved to the third camp, the upper camp at 6100 meters on top of the peak Razdelnaya. And then our team tomorrow, even tonight is going to go on a summit bid. We are promised very good weather, no wind. There are about 40 people who are going to go tonight. So I hope that we will succeed, all will be well. Everybody, bye!

Just called Alexander Abramov from the camp 1 (4400) at the peak of Lenin. All six participants of the second group feel great and ready to start tomorrow to climb to camp 2. And then they will go to the peak Razdelnaya, to camp 3 and then to the summit. However, at the moment, there is heavy snow. If until the morning  it does not stop, the outing will have to postpone for one day. Then the assault will occur on 6 August...

Lyudmila Korobeshko reports from the camp 1 under Lenin peak: the Second group met with their leader Alexander Abramov to camp 1 (4400м). It was the 30th of July. Alexander went with the first group after a successful ascent, and the second group had a great acclimatization under the leadership of Valery Myasoedov. All six participants in the second group climbed the peak Yuhina (5100) and at peak (6100). And spent two nights in the camp 5300. Now the second group together with Abramov resting on the 4400 and prepare for the ascent. The assault is scheduled for 4-5 August.
