Fedor Konyukhov’s group moved today from Baranko’s camp to Karanga’s camp. We overcame Baranco Wall. According to our tactics, we were the last to leave the camp today, so as not to stand in line in the wall.  And actually, our tactics were absolutely correct, since we were the only ones on the wall, we did not stand in lines. The weather today was foggy almost all day. Visibility is not very good, but not hot and cold, no rain. Happy New Year to all of you!

We are fine, we are resting now, soon we will have dinner. Tomorrow we are moving on to the assault camp. From there we will ascend  Kilimanjaro.

7 Summits, hello! It is Dmitry Ermakov from the gate of Kilimanjaro National Park. The group of Fyodor Konyukhov today arrived here. We are starting already. Everything is OK. The weather is wonderful. In general, everything is according to plan.

  The 7 Summits Club organized the summer season on Kilimanjaro with our experienced guide Sergey Larin. Despite the fact that at this time in Tanzania was winter, with his help " on the roof of Africa " climbed 39 people.

Several families (mostly fathers and sons) have climbed Kilimanjaro this summer.

 With us to the top of Africa has climbed by leading managers of the group companies is the largest publishing house "EKSMO", "BUSTARD", "AST", "LITRES", "ROSEBLACK". Although it was not easy for everyone, but we did it! New climbers learned a lot about themselves, their comrades, their capabilities, and believed that what seems impossible is still possible!  We were very happy to organize the ascent for this team! It was the second peak, after Mount Elbrus, hopefully not the last!

 Meanwhile, September 1st is the beginning of the spring season in Tanzania!  Already going to bloom and bloom in full force all that is usually pleasing to the eye in Tanzania at this time.

 The dry season is still in full swing, but the mountain is getting warmer.

 And, of course, winter is coming! And where to meet the winter, if not in Tanzania!  Hot and dry! The perfect time for climbing!

Kilimanjaro-3.  All members of the group "Fathers and Sons" reached the top of Kilimanjaro. It happened on August 10 at 9:30.

  Kilimanjaro, day 5. 1.08. Camp Karanga - camp Barafu 4600m. Easiest 3 hours. At 14:00 we had lunch and went to rest. Dinner-Breakfast at 23:00. At midnight, start to the summit.

 Day 6. 2.08. The start of the ascent was exactly at 0:00. The weather has improved: the stars, the wind is weak, cold.  In the period from 7:30 to 8:30 all members of the group reached the top. Now we have all gone down to the Camp Barafu and prepare to go down to the camp Millennium 3800m...

Kilimanjaro-2, day 3, July 30. Transfer from Shira camp to Baranko camp 3900m via Lava tower 4600m. We left at 8:20. Weather's bad. Strong wind, clouds. A week ago at 4000m we went in thermal underwear, now it was not hot in down jackets. The Lava tower had a nice lunch in the tent. We came to Baranko at 17:00. 4,600.  

 Before we climbed  Batian, our whole team climbed Peak of Lennana . It is the third highest peak in the Kenya massif, with a height of 4985. Didn't even climbed, and almost ran over three hours, with a vertical drop of nearly 800 meters. It was easy and very beautiful.

Hello dears! This is a guide Boris Egorov from Kenya. We made it - the peak of Batian 5199м, yay! But it was not easy at all! Because of the rainy season, we were watered every day in the camp at 4200, and it was snowing on the mountain. And we made a difficult decision to start two hours after sunrise, so that the route had time to dry out a little. We left the camp at 7 am, started climbing at 8 am, and at 6:30 PM, at sunset stood on top! All the way there was fog, we were caught by rain and hail, a full set of summer African weather, but nothing stopped us! We went down in the darkness and pulled the last rope just after sunrise the next day. In total, we went from camp to camp for 25.5 hours. Day without sleep, only high-quality climbing and intense descent. Batian is a serious mountain, but we were ready and coped!

25 members of our great expedition successfully climbed to the top of Kilimanjaro via the Umbwe route.  It was July 25th, and now the team has come down and is preparing to return home. Today our group climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. 25 people were at the highest point. The weather was perfect. Now we're going down to camp Millennium at 3600. And tomorrow we will celebrate at the hotel!

Hello! This is guide Boris Egorov from Kenya. Today we reached our assault camp. At height of 4200. Crossing 15 kilometers. In general, all have reached enough vigorously. But the height is already felt.

Sergey Larin from Tanzania: Hello! Alexander Abramov, Anastasia Kuznetsova and guide Sergey Larin arrived in Kilimanjaro to meet the team of the publishing group EKSMO-AST. As part of the ongoing partnership, the leaders of the largest Russian publishing holding consisting of 27 people plan to climb to the highest point of Africa - Kilimanjaro 5895m. In 2018, they have climbed on Elbrus the same big team.

Hello everyone from Kilimanjaro! Today around 8 am the whole group of “Falcons-2019” climbed the highest free-standing mountain in the world! Than lived up to the name of group - it was fast, clear, a real Express! Now we went down to the camp Horombo, all wildly tired, because not every day you pass about 20 km in the mountains with a large difference in height. Tomorrow we run down and rest! Hurray!

Guide Viktor Ershov: Hello from the wet  Tanzania from the group of Sapsan-2019! In the morning we started from the hotel to the entrance of Kilimanjaro National Park under heavy rain.  On the way we stopped at the supermarket for batteries and repellent. Then we checked in at the Park reception.  The rain stopped and we moved to the camp of Mandara.  We got there quickly in 3 hours, but the shoes were soaked through. In the evening we passed the medical check, all the members have excellent performance and good health, and  we tasted a delicious dinner. We hope that there will be no more such heavy rains..

 On March 19th, 2019, a group of 7 Summits Club, guide Boris Yegorov and three  members, climbed the second highest summit of the Kenya massif, Nelion peak, with a height of 5188 meters. To the highest point, the peak of Batian (5199m), it was decided not to go, not to get to the "cold overnight".  Simply, there was not enough day time.  Now the group safely descended to the foot of the summit and Boris Yegorov sent a large selection of photos from the ascent.

 Hello, Seven  Summits! This is guide Boris Egorov from Kenya. Today, we,  without hurry, but at the same time quickly enough, went to the point of Lenana – this is the third highest peak in the Kenya massif. We passed the route in two and a half hours, which, in пeneral, is not bad. And we went down to  our assault camp - Austrian hut. And then suddenly a cloud with snow covered us. Snow fell, the mountain turned white.  So we turned relaxed and decided to have a rest tomorrow.  We have  for a rest one more day in a stock. And while, we plan to storm the day after tomorrow. All, of course, slightly upset. But…
