Good evening! Today I had a difficult day in Africa. Basically it went like this:

We gathered in a very remarkable restaurant where you can taste the meat of wild animals.

 I liked the team gathered to climb Batian Peak (Kenya massif). Old friends were happy to meet.  Today we have a rest, and tomorrow in plans  there is moving to the National Park and small passes on jungle: 9 kilometers and 600 meters of a climb.

Tomorrow the program of ascent to Batian peak (5199 m) will begin.  This program is part of the project of our Club "7 Super Mountains"!  This project includes programs of climbing the iconic mountains from different continents (Matterhorn, Alpamayo etc…).

 Program guide Boris Yegorov is already in Kenya! He successfully passed acclimatization, climbing to the top of  Point Lenana (4985 m), the third highest peak of the Kenya massif. He has now returned to Nairobi to meet the participants of the programme tomorrow.

  Irena Kharazova, famous for her diaries from the expedition to Everest and became the brightest heroine of the film "Gene of Heights", returns with a new project.  After successfully completing the project "Seven Summits" and giving birth the child, as promised in the film,  Irena for some time disappeared from our field of vision. But now she appeared again and comes out with a new bright project – "Seven Super Mounts". Six months ago Irena made a successful ascent to the most beautiful peak of the world - Alpamayo in Peru.

  And now she goes to Kenya to make a difficult technical ascent to the most difficult peak of Africa - Kenya 5200 (peaks Nelion and Batian). Date of trip March 14-21. You can also join a support group and make a simpler ascent in the Kenya massif - to the top of Lenana 4895 at a special price.

We combined several separate fragments of the expedition into one video. It seems that it conveys a festive atmosphere in the group, which determined the overall success of the ascent.  Our expedition to Kilimanjaro is coming to an end.  It was great!  All 20 climbers (17 members and 3 guides) reached the top. It was difficult. But all are satisfied and happy. And all  people became much friends....

Information from Alexander Abramov: the whole group ("Children of Adam" or "Children of Abram") of 17 participants and 3 guides (Abramov Alexander,  Abramov Denis and Kuznetsova Anastasia) reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro via Marangu.

 7 Summits, Hello! Dmitry Ermakov from Kilimanjaro.  A group of "fast-legged deers" climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. The fastest climbed in 3: 15, the other 5: 20, about that. All is well, we are already in the camp, now we will rest…

 7 summits, Hello! Here is Dmitry Ermakov from the Karanga camp. Our group of "swift-footed deers" today came out the last from the Barranco camp, because we didn’t want  to stand in line on the Barranco wall and two hours (first) ran to the next camp. The weather is stable, it rains in the afternoon. Now we will rest a bit and go for a walk above. The mood is excellent!

  That is all! We did it – we finally got on the route!  All documents are completed, the ultimate goal is defined.  Today we passed the zone of Equatorial forests. On the road met the blue monkeys and the elegant endemics of Kilimanjaro - black-and-white colobus monkeys.  We ascended a kilometer and reached the first camp on the upper border of the forest -  Mandara Hut at 2800 m. And for Mandara there is news. First, there were sockets, which were not there before (they are few, but they are). And secondly, (and most importantly) there's  new huts, which is still not officially opened. We had to solve this issue informally, and we were the first group that settled there. Tomorrow we will move to Horombo at 3800….

 Greetings from Tanzania! Alexander Abramov's group is practically gathered!  It remains to wait only two members arriving late flight. The rest of all we met, all equipment checked, all in hire remeasured.   There was a briefing and an evening of “dating” with live music on the outdoor terrace, under the stars.  In general, we are ready to go on the route!

The 7 Summits Club, hello! Dmitry Ermakov from Kilimanjaro. Today a new group has started a program in Kilimanjaro.  I gave them the name "swift-footed deers".  Because the members of the group got from the gate to the Machame camp in 2.30 minutes! Looks like a record! That is all right. We got the rain, but it's the little things in life!  We are all OK…

Seven Summits, hello! Dmitry Ermakov from Kilimanjaro. We reached Shira's camp. Today we are more fortunate. There was even sun and we were able to dry all our wet things. We went up a little bit higher, now we are resting and waiting for dinner. We are doing well and all people are feeling fine. The mood is fighting.

Aloha 7 Summits!!!!  Here are In touch Vladimir Kotlyar and Irina Zisman! We're on the other side of geography, in Bolivia! Today is the first day of our trip, we dedicated it to acquaintance with La Paz, the capital of this distant country. The city impressed us and pleasantly surprised. Especially pleased with the local "metro", or rather the cable car, which replaces it.

 Hello! Dmitry Ermakov started working with a new group in Kilimanjaro. Tonight the last members arrived in Tanzania.  In the morning we packed up and now we are at the gates of Machame. Now we will register the group and go higher. The weather is beautiful. Today has even been seen Kilimanjaro in the morning. Compared to the New Year time, there are practically no people  on the route. In General, everything is fine and everything is going according to plan.

The 7 Summits Club  begins a new year 2019 with a successful ascent of Kilimanjaro. The team "Merry New year" under the leadership of our guide Dmitry Ermakov climbed to the highest peak of Africa - all participants, without loss!

Seven Peaks, Hello!   A group of the 7 Summits Club "Merry New year!" continues its journey. Today we reached the height of 3750, this is our Shira camp.  The height is felt, some are already beginning to have a headache. But, in general, all is well.  We sing songs, have fun. Weather today was almost all day foggy, but, thank God, in a rain we didn't get.

 Seven Summits, Hello!  There is Dmitry Ermakov from Kilimanjaro. Group "Happy New year" today starts on the Mountain.  According the plan the ascent we will have at 31th December to 1th of Janury. All people feel great and  are in high spirits. We are preparing now and in an hour we will start up the mountain.

Seven Summits, Hello!  This is Dmitry Ermakov, a guide of the 7 Summits Club, from Africa. I arrived last night, late reached the hotel. Here I met three members of our group. Today we checked equipment, in general it was a day of rest. Now I will start at the airport in an hour to meet the other members. The weather is fine, the mood is great.

Nikolai Belonogov from Sakhalin climbed Kilimanjaro in the team of the 7 Summits Club and stood at the peak of Freedom (Uhuru peak, 5 895 m) on October 7, 2018.

 Congratulations to all members with the summit!

 According to Nicholai, everything was fine and he regrets only one thing - that he did not go after climbing with everyone on Safari and Zanzibar.
