Today in the office of the 7 Summits Club we once again worked out the award ceremony with an honorary medal with a personal certificate for climbing Kilimanjaro (the highest peak in Africa, 5,895 m). This time, we practiced the ceremony on the representative of ourClub in Tanzania - Valeria Polunina. She pleased us with her presence on this winter evening.

 Our friends from Brazil successfully summited the highest peak in Africa Kilimanjaro (5 895 m). They are in a good mood, continue their journey through Africa. On their return home, we are waiting for more photos and impressions! And now there is only such nice photo from the top. Congratulations!

The group called "Incognito" has successfully completed the blitz expedition in Morocco!)

3 of the 4 participants reached the highest point of the country, the Atlas mountains and North Africa - Toubkal (4 167 m).

The fourth member turned from a height of 3 600 meters.

Our blitz the day of the ascent:

4:20 - exit from shelter;

After an hour our group split: Andrey, Oxana and Victoria with a local guide, Mohammed go to the top, I'm Marina and continue climbing, but slowly...

7:20 in the morning, with 400 meters of altitude during 3 hours climing, we turn down, knowing that today, for the Marina (which is actually the first time in the mountains) it is a  top.

At 9:30 I go out from the shelter towards the summit, towards the brave three, worrying that they may need my help on the descent...

At 10:40, I meet the main group at 3 600 metres, the same height, where we turned with Marina...

My help is not needed - the team, though tired, but happy, are going down!)

The heroine of the day unquestionably was Victoria, which for the first time in the mountains ( Andrei and Oksana before that ascension was only the Olympus)!!!

Blitz managed on 75%!

Three out of four members of the expedition with a local guide Mohammed was on the Top today, November 5th!

I twice went to 3 600 😂😂😂

Personal observation: in winter, Toubkal is much nicer to go;-)

The 7 Summits Club started the development and production of medals for ascents on each of “the 7 summits”. Today there was the first presentation of the medal for climbing Kilimanjaro. And practicing the ceremony of awarding the medals. Medals are awarded in a festive atmosphere by dressing on the neck of each participant. Medals are only given to the summit climbers. Its will be  not sold and not given. To every coin is issued a certificate signed by the guide. At presentation of the medal women made curtsey and kiss a guide. Men stand a thank-you on one knee. These rules must be explained by the guides prior to delivery. The certificate must be completed and signed by the guide.

On 10th October a group of the 7 summits Club climbed to the summit of Kilimanjaro. It was a trio: Mikhail Stepanov, Sergey Laptev and Yury Zozulya.

The climb was not very easy, but  guys did it! The weather helped as it could...

Congratulations! The team is now thinking where to go next.

Immediately 2 groups of the 7 Summits Club performed a successful ascent on the roof of Africa - Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m).

11 participants out of 12 climbed to the highest point of the massif, which is called the Uhuru peak (which means "freedom" in Swahili). And one another of our climbers was able to climb to the edge of the crater to the key height of Stella Point.

 Congratulations to all climbers with the summit!

Yesterday, the the 7 summits Club welcomed a guest. Artist, Vice-President of the Union of Russian Abstractionist, Anastasia Dobrovolskaya brought her picture painted on the edge of the crater of the highest volcano of Africa – Kilimanjaro.

 Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro - it was the first climbing experience Anastasia. And there, in Africa, the idea of a large project called "Seven paintings in seven highest peaks in the world". Anastasia plans to climb all Seven summits and to do what did no one in the world. That is, to bring down the finished new painting.

We wish Nastya good luck in the project! Diary of her travels in Tanzania and the history of painting on top of Kilimanjaro, has recently been published on our website. On further expeditions and plans we will also keep you up to date...

We are at the top. This is 1st summit (Gillmans Point) - 5685 meters. We stay... we drank tea, ate chocolate and biscuits. We must go further. Close to 2-th summit, all stopped and no one could go far. We began to breathe artificial oxygen from the tank. The tour guide said that when we get to 3rd  summit, he will allow not more than 10 minutes to be there.

I have joined the brain. To write a painting I  need 30-40 minutes, and in the current situation and all 45. I decided to sit right here on the rocks, please oil on canvas and palette knife. With me remains husband and 2 porters. The rest of the group goes on... I begin to paint. My Head's not straight, the colors - in the pile, Kilimanjaro is not given.

After 20 minutes, the image of the mountain appears. The guides help keep the folder and the canvas serves paint and sincerely amazed at how the canvas it appeared - Kilimanjaro))))

It took 40 minutes and all my power, which I need to remain for the descent…

Kilimanjaro from a plane. Very rare and successful shots. The crater is seen directly in the palm of your hand. Three volcanic cones of different ages are clearly visible. And how little ice is left!

Kilimanjaro. The sixth day. 7 Aug. Go to the camp to Barafu (4680 m). Despite three nights in the height of 4000 meters, the part of the participants was not feeling very well.

Kilimanjaro. On the seventh day. 8 Aug. Went out at 12 at night. At 8 am we were  on the summit, almost all. Except  Vlad 11 years old and Nikita is 12 years old. I stopped them  at 5300. I decided to keep young growing organisms for the next ascents in future.

The group descends into the Millennium camp at 3,000 meters...

 The leader of the expedition of the Kazakh Geographical society Magjan Sagimbayev:

After a successful ascent to Kilimanjaro, the group went on a Safari through the parks of Tanzania. We visited the valley of the Tarangire river, which is famous for its baobab trees and elephants. As well as a unique place "lost world" of Ngorongoro crater, which many are calling the "eighth wonder of the world".

 We met almost all the inhabitants of the national Park, except rhinos. Obiageli real drama of the Safari, the match between lions and buffaloes. Was a little taken aback by the size of Ngorongoro crater. Who would have thought that there exists a small world for animals.

 Just for the sake of the Safari was to go to Tanzania! Very cool!

News Kilimanjaro from Magjan Sagimbayev. The group has already returned home. Everybody will be happy. Now you only have to remember how it was and choose a new vertex.

 "Everything went super. There was the little moments with mountain sickness, but the tour guides did a good job. 11 people went up, happy pants! )

 The hotels we stayed - excellent! The team was well rested.

  Unfortunately, on top our group failed to take a picture because the group split up, someone faster, someone slower.

 But in general, all people are happy and satisfied with the entire program! Thank you (7 summits Club)!

The group of the Kazakh Geographic Society under the leadership of Magdzhan Sagimbayev plans to climb to the top of Kilimanjaro on the sports version of the route Marangu, in 5 days. On July 1th, the team flew to Tanzania.

 On July 2, the group ascended to the Mandara camp at an altitude of 2,800 meters. On the way, they were posed by a local endemic - colobus ...

 The group from Volgograd 11 people, including children, climbed to the highest peak of Africa in February 2017. They traveled on a seven-day version of the Machame route. And although it was not easy, the impressions were the most vivid and positive. This is a note of their leader Stanislav Vinnikov.

So our journey began. In a light T-shirt, in the middle of lush greenery

This effect is called "shyness of crowns," when trees, despite the thickness of the forest, do not touch the crowns, forming mysterious drawings on the foliage.

There are even palm trees (or rather, dendrikestones) in the form of a heart. It is immediately evident that Kilimanjaro loves us

Conclusions. I am often asked "why?". Why are you going to the mountains?

 Mom - they are in Africa, Mom!

The 7 Summits Club expresses its gratitude to Mr. Khodak for his trust to us, which was reflected in the fact that he wrote a short, but very business-like report about the trip on the program "Climb of Mount Kenya , 4 days Safari and relaxing on the Indian ocean"! Wish new heights and look forward to seeing in our ranks!

"Successful trip to Kenya with climbing to Mount Kenya, a variety of game drives and relaxing on the Indian ocean coast me and my girls (wife and daughter 13 years old) came to the liking.

By itself, the rest in Equatorial Kenya interesting due to the gentle climate, combined with strange natural landscape and rich animal fauna.

On mount Kenya we hiked the entire group, including two children. Guides on the mountain was warm-hearted, attentive, unobtrusive. That's a plus.

Hotels in Nairobi and on Safari travelers. That's a plus.

Safari various, including, water on the lake, valosaari and Safari at dawn. That's a plus.

Failed to see the leopard. It's a little minus. I did see a Cheetah. This is a big plus.

Tour guide in Nairobi spent too short a tour of the capital. It's a minus.

I do not exclude that in Nairobi there is nothing, as it consists mainly of slums and banal high-rise buildings. We looked at the fences of the presidential residence and the Russian Embassy, saw the Parliament building and the Supreme court. The tour is over. Then we had a good time at the restaurant "Carnivor". This is a big plus.

The guide was corrected on Safari. He independently sought out the animals, drove them back to back, not afraid to pull off the well-worn trails. Well done. That's a plus. Suggest to hire a guide for clients "7 summits" in the future. Customers will not regret.

The Indian ocean is amazing by definition. There is nothing to say. Local merchants are slowly already starting to talk in Russian.

All the little "inconsistencies" and travel problems completely blocked the total pleasure of traveling.

The tour of the Group of the 7 Summits Club in Kenya is over. Participants climbed one of the peaks of Mount Kenya - Point Lenana (4895 meters). Then they visited the famous Masai Mara National Park, one of the best in Africa and completed a trip on the shores of the Indian Ocean.

Lyudmila Korobeshko, a guide and director of the 7 Summits Club: Today the group Pili-Pili Manga (translated from Swahili means "black pepper") leaves home. Yesterday our Tanzanian friends prepared a romantic farewell breakfast for us and in the Millennium camp  they gave us a farewell concert. We were not in debt, answering them by Russian folk dancing. All were pleased with each other. Today we take off for home.

Lyudmila Korobeshko, a guide, director of the 7 Summits Club: Pili-Pili Mango Team today February 24 at 6.45 reached the roof of Africa. Our climb we decided to dedicate the 100th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution and the 167th anniversary of the abolition of slavery in Zanzibar.

   On the very spot where it joins routes Marangu (Coca-Cola) and Machame (Whiskey) at Stella Point, we have combined these two drinks and solemnly drank.
