Pulse has increased from the indescribable beauty of the surrounding mountains and the night sky ...

The second group – it is Wil Fakhretdinov, solo or single program with a local team of guide, cook and three porters.

A large group of 11 people (from Volgograd) follows the route 2 days after Wil..

Today the next group on Kilimanjaro starts. Members of the expedition will  climb the summit with the guides from the 7 summits Club  Ludmila Korobeshko and Ivan Dusharin

At the same period, a group of 7 people starts for  the program “Climbing Mount Kenya”.

And despite the fact that weather forecasts do not look very optimistic, in reality it is not so bad. We hope that all our climbers will get lucky and all will end well.

February - it is not only the third month of winter with snowfalls, thaws, the constant change of temperatures and gloomy days, but also the end of the summer, as well as the best time to climb the mountain peaks near the equator and in the Southern Hemisphere!

Now there is the busy season of climbing for Kilimanjaro, Kenya, Orizaba in Mexico, Chimborazo in Ecuador.

In this February  there will be around 30 PAX from the 7 Summits Club to climb Kilimanjaro in six different groups. You can still join one of our groups right now, do not delay your plans for later.

Many our clients have already managed to climb Mount Kilimanjaro this year and send their photos and reports. Following photos sent to us by Anton Pavlov, who just has returned home after a successful ascent.

The other climbers are already flying in the direction of Tanzania, or are packing their backpacks.

Vladimir Shataev ascended to the summit of Kilimanjaro at 9:30 November 3, 2016, in company with another great friend of our Club Alexander Sobolenko. They left the last camp to Barafu at 01:30. The climb took 8 hours. Vladimir Shataev is 79-a-half years old, he was born May 1, 1937. It is a national record of age ... but only for men. The absolute record belongs to our compatriot Angela Vorobyova – 86 years!

Despite the fact that early November is considered the end favorable for climbing season, the weather was quiet. Snow (about 2 cm) fell only to assault the camp Barafu.

According to Vladimir, trekking to the summit on the Machame route is a much cooler than Marangu, on which he has been climbing two times. The route seemed much more beautiful, varied and difficult. Climbing on Marangu and Machame is 2 different mountains. It was a pleasant discovery!

Kilimanjaro from Machame route is really beautiful.

Alexander Sobolenko plans had to prepare for the next climbs and to lose weight. According to him, the second paragraph failed, because he was very well fed.

Now they are down to the Millennium camp and then to the exit of the National Park. Their plan: go on a Safari early in order to see more animals.

The group of Artem Rostovtsev has also reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. So they celebrated the birthday of Pavel Altukhov. We also congratulate Paul with summit and birthday!

Another group is now in the assault camp Barafu and preparing for the most important moment - the exit to the summit bid.

Almost at the same time four our groups went to Africa to climb the highest peak of the continent. They have different routes, but the main goal is the same - Kilimanjaro! The two groups will work with Russian guides.

Artem Rostovtsev leads the group, which aims to celebrate the birth of one of the participants at the summit of Kilimanjaro. This is their main goal! They go by the classic route Marangu.

A group guided by Maxim Balakhovskiy will climb by another popular and also classic route - Machame. Immediately after the descent from the mountain they have to fly to the Serengeti National Park, where they will wait for safaris and hot air ballooning over the savannah.

Two other individual groups will make the ascent with local guides. They also go by two different routes - Machame and Marangu.

Hi, Seven Summits! It is Artem Rostovtsev. We are now in the Barafu camp. At the moment we have dawn, we admire them. We have not overslept, woke up on time and  already went to the summit and come down. It was very easy to go. We decided that the slow pace even begin to ruin us in high altitude. Why be here  a lot of time? We decided to watch the sunrise in the Barafu camp. I think it happens so rarely. We went unscathed, healthy, rest a couple of hours and go down. Greetings from Tanzania, from Kilimanjaro! Artem Rostovtsev

They were a group of 5-people, including a child of 13 years, successfully climbed the highest peak in Africa. It was not easy, but they have coped! Congratulations guys with their first summit and wish continued climbing.

Comments and farewell climbers followed by Philippe Yalovega.

Good equipment is very important! We need good equipment with membrane that protects you from wind, dust and moisture.

Thin puff (the bottom layer under the membrane) for the assault enough.

Good hiking boot that kept the ankle, it is necessary to Throughout the route (with the lowest camps).

Sleeping need really good (at -15-20 in comfort)! This is veryimportant!

We must always listen to the recommendations of guides: drink more water, go slowly, etc ..

It makes sense to go after climbing to a glacier to do beautiful pictures.

It is important to go to the assault and day transitions during that meet the sunrise is on the edge of the crater, and not on the slopes, and to have time to enjoy the surrounding views in daylight.

The seven-day program climbing (with an extra day acclimatization) - is the salvation! Without much experience considered short program makes no sense !!!

Comments from 7 Summits Club:

"We always pay attention to the importance of the equipment and importance

implement the recommendations of the guides, but the final understanding, as a rule,

It occurs only on the route. Preparation is very important. "

"It is important to choose the ascent route on Kilimanjaro properly taking into account the experience of the participants of the mountain! It affects the chances of a successful ascent, the health of participants and the general impression of the trip."
