 Aloha, friends and girlfriends! Vovchik Kotlyar, Pemba Sherpa and Pasang Sherpa advanced in the direction of the mountain in order to prepare the camps for the start of the Russian season in Aconcagua. Today we will spend a night in the Confluence camp at an altitude of 3400. Tomorrow we will go to the base camp, where we will begin work. We are looking forward to all!

A team of the 7 Summits Club’s guides came to Mendoza. Soon we will be in the Aconcagua base camp. And now we rest and carry loads. We also check tents and equipment. But these photos we have not. There are only the following…

 For Aconcagua we have a long season ahead. The “Russian Camp” of the 7 Summits Club will host six groups, and all of them are large. And there is still the opportunity to join! Urgently call! The first group begins its trek to the highest peak of South America on December 18. But before this there is still a lot of preparatory work, which is better done under the command of the most experienced expedition organizer Alexander Abramov. In addition, this year, our friends from Nepal, Sherpas, will work in the “Russian Camp” as high-altitude porters. This is a new word in the service of climbers on Aconcagua. It should work out fine! Today  Vladimir Kotlyar and Alexander Dorozhukov flew to Argentina with Alex Abramov, and soon Andrei Berezin will join them. Great company!

 Hello! This is Boris Egorov from Brazil. Our last day in Chapada Diamantina National Park ended. In the morning we again climbed in the jungle surrounded by monkeys, this time we captured fruit and animals ate right out of hand! And after lunch we tried the new entertainment – “deep water solo” or climbing over the water without belay. Fun, but scary. Tomorrow we have an excursion to the caves.

Hello, friends! This is a guide Boris Egorov from Brazil. Today  we climbed a route to the steep face of  Pai Inacio, 150 meters in height.  This is a very beautiful line and high quality climbing. Thanks to the constant visits to the rocks around the world, the guys and I understand each other perfectly.  Everyone knows what, how and when to do during the climb, now we have a team working as a whole. Well, after climbing we were waiting for water treatments in a natural water park. Tomorrow is a day of rest, caves and waterfalls are planned.

Hi! This is Boris Egorov. Today we started our adventures in Brazil. We arrived in Bahia, the town of Lencois, to climb on the local rocks. Maybe it's not the most popular place to climb, just because it's so hot! But it is incredibly beautiful.  We are around the sea of greenery and picturesque rocks. Today we lightly touched the local sandstones, scouted the wall for climbing. Tomorrow according to the plan we climb up the trade route 5 pitches.

Last Sunday RD Studio unveiled the third series of the miniseries "The Man who always wanted more."  The film was shot during the expedition of the 7 Summits Club on the highest volcano in the world Ojos del Salado.

After watching this film, You will certainly want to see this incredible beauty and to test yourself at the exotic heights of the Andes.  The nearest opportunity is to join the expedition of the 7 Summits Club under the leadership of Alexander Abramov. Olga Rumiantseva, a guide of the 7 Summits Club:  Hello from Bolivia! Today, our group climbed  a very beautiful Mount Huayna Potosi. Weather at first did not please and even we had doubts whether we will be able to make the ascent according to the plan or have to use the reserve day.  But despite the snow storm that broke out in the evening on the eve of the climb, by night the weather gave us a small window, which was just enough to climb.

The route has changed slightly since I was last here. Now you do not have to go to the top by the terrifying ridge. You can see it only from the top. But the route of climb did not become less interesting. And beauty is still in place.

From tomorrow we will start a fascinating cultural entertainment program.

Hello from Bolivia! Our group successfully mastered the altitude of 3200 meters in La Paz and today moved to the legendary lake Titicaca. On the lake we stopped to visit the family who helped Thor Heyerdahl build boats for his expeditions. When you imagine how these boats went across the ocean, you realize that this was fantastic.

Our next target was the island of the Sun.

We took a boat to the island of the Sun. Forty minutes on the beautiful Titicaca and after a traditional lunch we walked the first small but very beautiful trekking to our hotel.

A sunset we met at the observation point with a beautiful view…

Our very long day ended with a wonderful dinner.

Greetings from Ecuador! Today at 07.30 am local time we all  together  reached the summit of Chimborazo, 6310m!!!  Hurray!! It was difficult. There is a fairly steep and long ice slope on Chimborazo. We had to go out at 00.00 (and get up at 22.30), because by lunchtime avalanches, rockfalls and very often thunderstorms, wind and blizzard. But we did it! And then we went down first to the upper camp at 5350 m, then to the hut at 4850 m, got on the bus and we are in Quito at 2900 m! Crazy day, the team - well done, thanks to the weather, all well done! We can rest at last. With you were guides Viktor Ershov and Edgar Parra.

We climbed the mountain Illiniza Norte, 5126м, all together, quickly and accurately! Start was early in the morning - about 6.30 am, 3 hours up, sometimes had to climb that for almost all participants it was the first time.  Therefore, the ascent was emotional and bright, despite the fogs, and a little rain on the descent.   We went straight down to the Parking lot and went to a cool hotel, which resembles both a Museum, a Park and a castle - an ancient and interesting place.

 We left the cozy lodge and Cotopaxi National Park  and moved to the National Park of Mount Iliniza. We drove to the parking in 3850м with very scenic views on the way, we saw several herds of llamas. Then we loaded rucksacks  on horses and reached  a mountain hut at 4750м. Here, we plan overnight, and tomorrow going to the top of Iliniza Norte! All memberss feel good, everyone is eager to fight!

 Hello, dears! This morning enjoyed a wonderful view of the Cotopaxi for breakfast.  We even watched a fly of a hummingbird, but did not have time to take a picture of it. After breakfast we went to the parking  at 4600m on the slope of volcano Cotopaxi, reached the glacier, held ice-snow classes for the guys and reached a height of 5200m. On road down was greeted Andian wolf and again local hares. The nature of Ecuador never ceases to amaze!

On January 27, 2019,  President of the 7 Summits Club Alex Abramov climbed the highest peak of South America, Mount Aconcagua, as part of “Seven summits in seven months” project. His partner on the climb was a guide the 7 Summits Club Artem Rostovtsev.  During the short acclimatization and preparation for the ascent, Alex Abramov lived in the "Russian camp" of the 7 Summits Club on the Plaza de Mulas and Nido de Condores. 

The ascent  took place in difficult weather conditions, Alexander and Artem were the only climbers who climbed to the top on this day.

 On February 19, 2019, the final group of the season in Aconcagua climbed the summit. We came out of the camp Nido de Condores at 2.20, as the next day promised a strong wind (this is normal for Aconcagua), and at 12.20 days were on top.
