Finally, the luggage is delivered, and nothing prevents us from moving on. So: in the morning we left Lukla for Chutang, at about 12 o'clock in the afternoon we were there. News from the Elbrus region! Yesterday, September 13, the 7 Summits Club group "While the mushrooms" successfully climbed the Western summit of Elbrus. The weather and the condition of the route were wonderful. Therefore, at 6:15 we were all standing on the top together. From where a view of the surroundings opened up. And also a huge shadow of the Western summit of Elbrus was visible. After that there was a descent down, gathering and departure on an overloaded cable car to the hotel. And also a gala evening with the presentation of awards and certificates.

The trail leads through a picturesque forest, which then gives way to lush alpine meadows. The weather was cloudy today, sometimes it tried to rain. The mountains were all covered, Elbrus did not show up. Tomorrow we are heading to the National Park shelter, where we will spend a few days before the ascent.

From the summit, there were beautiful views of the Greater Caucasus Range and far to the north. All participants walked well and felt good.
