Andrey Berezin, the guide of the 8000 Club  and the7 Summits Club, reports from Kyrgyzstan:

Pamir is in touch!  We spent several days enjoying the benefits of civilization at the Lenin Peak base camp. We walked to the local beautiful lake, visited a massage parlor, a sauna, and visited the International Mountaineering Camp (MAL), which turned 50 this year. After that, we moved to the first camp, where we will "catch" the weather for climbing.

Pamir is in touch!  The group "Gentlemen and Fairies" climbed, as part of the acclimatization,  the peak Razdelnaya (6148). We spent two nights in the Second Camp at an altitude of 5200. We got acquainted with the Lenin Icefall, with the famous "Frying Pan". We've gone down to rest now.  And we will wait for the weather for the ascent.

Greetings from the Pamirs! The group "Gentlemen and Fairies" spent two days in the First Camp of Lenin Peak. To acclimatize, we went to Domashny Peak, up to a height of 4800 meters.  And today we held snow and ice classes.  We have mastered the skills of moving on ropes. Tomorrow we will go to the Second Camp for two nights, and we also plan to climb the Razdelnaya peak.

Pamir is in touch! The "Always ready-s" group at the base camp of Lenin peak Achik-Tash. 6 hours along the Pamir highway, and now we are at the foot of the giant. The camp greeted us with rain and snow. We were accommodated in comfortable yurts: with electricity and a shower in the room. Good comfort is the key to a good ascent. Tomorrow we are going to acclimatize to the slope of Petrovsky Peak. The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Valery Myasoedov.

Pamir is in touch! The group (as yet untitled) gathered in the beautiful city of Osh, from where our path to Lenin Peak begins. Today we took a look at the sights of the city, including Mount Sulaiman.  We also tried the local cuisine. Then we are already going to Achik-Tash, to the base camp of Lenin Peak. One of the participants of our expedition is the famous cosmonaut Sergei Ryazansky. The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Valery Myasoedov.

News of the Elbrus region. The Active Life group has climbed the Western peak of Elbrus.  The weather forecast did not come true, but this time for the better. Strong winds were expected, but there was almost calm along the entire route and at the top. As a result, we were able to explore the surroundings at the summit of Elbrus, all the wonderful views that opened up to us from the top point.

News of the Elbrus region.  The Restless group in full force climbed the Western peak of Elbrus.  There had been a thunderstorm all the previous evening, and it continued at night in the Elbrus area, but by morning the weather had improved. And all the beautiful views of the Caucasus mountains opened up to us from Summit.

Four groups of the 7 Summits Club climbed to the Pastukhov Rocks area, which are located at an altitude of 4600-4700 m. So, under the guidance of guides Alexander Avtomonov, Andrey Berezin, Alexander Dorojukov and Dmitry Semenov, the group members completed the acclimatization cycle. The weather was excellent, visibility allowed us to see Elbrus and the mountains of the Main Caucasian Ridge closer.  All the groups went down to the refuge, where the members will rest the next day. And they will also prepare for the assault on the Western peak of Elbrus, which is scheduled for Friday.

News of the Elbrus region.  The Restless group began preparations for the ascent of Elbrus.  Today we went up to 2,700 m, on the slope of Mount Cheget. The path passed through a beautiful coniferous forest, which was replaced by Alpine meadows and flowering rhododendron bushes.  Tomorrow we will go to the refuge National Park, where we will continue acclimatization and preparation for climbing Elbrus.

Today (11.06.2024), three of the 7 Summits Club  groups went up to the National Park Refuge, where they stayed for three or four nights.  After what, under the guidance of guides Andrey Berezin, Alexander Dorojukov and Dmitry Semenov, the participants went to the area the Refuge of 11, to the height of 4100-4200. There, training sessions were held on climbing through the snowy terrain. The participants learned how to walk on a rope, and also practiced the skill of self-arrest using an ice axe. The weather was good, although Elbrus was covered by a cloud. The acclimatization process is going according to plan. Tomorrow is the rotation to the Pastukhov Rocks.

News of the Elbrus region.  Yesterday, on June 7, the group of the 7 Summits Club "Mishutki & Co." in full force climbed the Western peak of Elbrus.  The weather, as usual, let us down, but we coped. Despite the snow and wind, we climbed to the top.

News of the Elbrus region.  The Mishutki & Co group continues to acclimatize and prepare for the ascent on Elbrus.  Today (June 5th) we went up to the Pastukhov Rocks.  It was a sunny, hot day. Sunscreen was taken out every stop. As a result, everyone has only a slight blush on their skin. Tomorrow, rest and preparation for the ascent.

News of the Elbrus region. The new group of the 7 Summits Club on Elbrus today (June 3) spent an active day in the vicinity of Mount Cheget.  We walked through the forest, went to the Ai cafe with a view of the magnificent Elbrus.  In the afternoon, we were busy selecting the necessary equipment at the rental point.

The weather did not favor us on this last day of spring. There was a wind at the top, which did not even allow us to stand on the top. But we did it anyway!

News of the Elbrus region.  May 29th. The second day at the National Park Refuge.  In the plans for acclimatization, we went to the Pastukhov Rocks, height 4700. The ascent and descent worked as a whole. It feels like a Team! Tomorrow is the day of rest before the summit assault, we will rest and recover.

Namaste from Nepal!  On April 23, the group of the 7 Summits Club "Himalayan fox cubs" climbed to the top of Mera Peak, with a height of 6470 m. The weather was perfect, 5 eight-thousand-meter Summits were visible from the top: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga and Cho-Oyu. After climbing, we descended to Khare, from where we took off by helicopter to Lukla the next day.
