Today was a colorful day: picturesque flora, many suspension bridges, and the reward: Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpas. Namaste! The Himalayan season has begun! Two of our groups: the climbing group "Chronic climbers" (going to Island Peak) and the trekking group "Kumari of October" (Everest Base Camp) arrived in Lukla yesterday and went on the route.  The first night in Phakding, in a beautiful comfortable hotel. A cyclone came to the Himalayas, all afternoon and night it was pouring heavy rain. Today we hope to arrive in Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpas, before the rain. News of the Elbrus region.  The group "Sweet dreams" successfully climbed to the top of Elbrus.  The weather was beautiful. From the summit there were stunning views of the entire Main Caucasian Ridge, as well as the surrounding area.  This is the end of the season of the 7 Summits Club on Elbrus. In October, the season for our guides begins in Nepal.  See you again in the mountains!

News of the Elbrus region.  The group "Sweet dream" continues to acclimatize on the slopes of Elbrus.  We went up to the Pastukhov Rocks.  The weather is already autumn: it has become cool, snow falls at night, and fog descends during the day. Tomorrow in the first half of the day we will hold classes with ice axes and work out movements in ropes.

News of the Elbrus region. The Antigua group climbed the Western Peak of Elbrus this morning.  This time the forecast was not fully justified, there were wind gusts of 45 km/h. But this did not prevent us from reaching the highest point of Elbrus.  The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov.

News of the Elbrus region (from 30.08). The group "What's around the corner?" continued acclimatization on the slopes of Elbrus. Today we climbed the Pastukhov Rocks.  Now it has warmed up sharply and there is abundant melting. Streams flow down the slope, pulling out large areas of soil.  The weather is clear and sunny in the morning.  Tomorrow we have a rest day according to the program.  We go to the summit of Elbrus on Friday.

News of the Elbrus region.  The Yatryshnik group gathered in the Elbrus region and began a program of acclimatization and preparation for climbing Elbrus. Yesterday we went up to the Ai cafe, today we went up at the National Park Refuge and held classes on the technique of climbing on snow and self-arrest using an ice axe. Tomorrow we go to the Pastukhov Rocks.

News of the Elbrus region.  The group "Manuls" today made an ascent on the Western peak of Elbrus.  The weather conditions turned out to be difficult: on the Saddle we found ourselves in a passing thunderstorm front. And after waiting out the storm there, we continued climbing. And after a couple of hours we were already standing at the top.

News of the Elbrus region.  The Manuls group continues to acclimatize on the slopes of Elbrus.  Today we went up to the Pastukhov Rocks.  We decided not to go higher, as stones are falling from the Eastern peak. It is very hot in the Elbrus region now. There is an abundant melting of glaciers. Tomorrow, according to the plan, rest before climbing the summit of Elbrus.

The Guide of the 7 Summits Club Andrey Berezin reports from the Elbrus region:

News of the Elbrus region. The group "Manuls" has started a program of preparation for the ascent on Elbrus. Today we went to the Ai cafe, on Cheget. The path passed first along a forest, which then turned into alpine meadows. The weather is hot, summer. Along the way, we had stunning views of the surrounding summits and, of course, of Elbrus. After lunch, we visited the rental, took the missing equipment for climbing. Tomorrow we will go to the slope of Elbrus, where we will continue acclimatization and preparation for the ascent.

News of the Elbrus region.  A group called the "Chef's Team" began acclimatization and preparation for climbing Elbrus.  We climbed the slope of Cheget, to the Ai cafe. There we tasted delicious pasties and hychines, in the afternoon they took the necessary equipment for rent. Tomorrow we will climb to the refuge National Park, where we will continue to acclimatize and prepare for the ascent.

News of the Elbrus region.  The group "With Valerian on a snowmobile" continued preparations for climbing Elbrus and climbed to the Pastukhov Rocks.  On the way, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the surrounding area and, of course, Elbrus. Tomorrow we are thinking of climbing the summit of Elbrus, as the weather deteriorates for the next few days.

 News of the Elbrus region. A new group began preparations for climbing Elbrus. Today we went to the Ai cafe, on the slope of Cheget Mountain. The morning turned out to be rainy, so we shifted the exit time so as not to get wet through before reaching Cheget. We climbed along a picturesque forest path that smoothly crossed the Alpine meadows. When we passed under the cable car, we heard encouraging wishes from tourists climbing up. After spending some time in the Ai cafe, we went back to the hotel, from where we went to rent the necessary equipment after lunch. Tomorrow we will go up to the refuge, where we will continue to prepare for the ascent.

News of the Elbrus region. The group "We don't change habits" is on the top of Elbrus! We did it, no matter what! More precisely, we did it to spite the weather. The forecast promised sunshine and a light breeze, but we got a fog cap and wind gusts of 40 km/h. The result:  only 10 minutes of a photo shoot at the top.
