Representatives of the 7 Summits Club Alla Mishina and Sergey Seliverstov flew to Kanchenjunga base camp yesterday. According to the plan, they should gradually acclimatize right on the route. However, the processing of the route by Sherpas was unexpectedly postponed. The fact is that the priest lama responsible for the consecration ceremony of the event (puja) has set the date for its holding on April 23. And to this day, the Sherpas do not agree to work on the route. So, our climbers just have to sit in the camp at 5,500 and limit themselves to exits up to 6,000 meters. For one thing, to train patience, the most important quality on eight thousand meters.

Information from Alla Mishina and Sergey Seliverstov. Early this morning, due to good weather, we flew by helicopter safely to the very center of the Yalung glacier, right at the foot of Kanchenjunga, at an altitude of 5,500 meters. There is a very beautiful view, waterfalls from all sides. The weather is always good until the middle of the day, and fog and snow in the afternoon. The Sherpas have already hung ropes to the Second Camp. We are waiting for the puja ceremony, and then we will start trying to walk acclimatization rotation to a height of 6100- 6300 meters. Everything is fine with us, everyone is healthy.
A message from Alla Mishina and Sergey Seleverstov: they have passed the acclimatization trekking, and are waiting for departure to the base camp Kangchenjunga

From Alla Mishina and Sergey Seleverstov from a height of 4,600 meters:
The difficult trekking has been successfully completed. We finish acclimatization at an altitude of 4,600 meters with radial rotation to the point named Ramsey. We can already see Kangchenjunga. On April 18, in the morning, we fly to 5400, to the base camp. There is no way to get there on foot now. Yaks and porters do not walk, it is about 50 km along the glacier and moraines, without stationary intermediate camps. Complete lack of communication. We transmit it by satellite phone.
We're starting! The movement of guides and participants in the direction of the Himalayas has begun. Happy flights and landings, good luck!

Information from our friends from Vento company: Alexey Lonchinsky called today at 12 o'clock. They are doing well, according to plan. In three days, Yuri and Alexey reached the base camp, acclimatized to a height of more than 6000 - went to the nearest mountain (as far as the connection allows – Furayma). We have completed all the tasks of acclimatization and equipment testing. Today they are resting. Tomorrow, if the weather permits, they go out under the route, set up a camp. The day after tomorrow for the assault. The weather forecast is "not very good", perhaps the ascent will be shifted by a day.
We remind you that the climbers plans to make the first ascent along the Southeastern buttress to the top of Rolwaling Kang (6645 m). Alexey Lonchinsky and Yuri Koshelenko are among the best climbers in the World, repeatedly awarded with various "Golden Ice axes", champions of Russia. Alexey is a leading methodist coach at the 7 Summits Club. He manages all the training mountaineering camps that our company conducts. Yuri Koshelenko also worked as a guide in the 7 Summits Club company, although for a long time.

Hello, dear mountain lovers! Greetings from Kazakhstan! The first group arrived in the camp!
Ratmir and Alexey are very glad to see their students of the Khibiny collection again!!! The flight to Kazakhstan from Moscow took 4 hours and 30 minutes of pure time. The main part of the group took off at 20:50 and at 6 o'clock, having passed customs, left the airport for Almaty. The time difference is 3 hours, so there is a jetlag. One hour of travel and we settle in the camp.
We rested before lunch, then had a snack in an excellent dining room and went for a walk to the weather station Mynzhilki 3100m. The weather was cloudy, there was rain in places. But the main task, the beginning of adaptation to the highlands, has begun.
After dinner, according to the covenant and the instructions of the sister-mistress Didasha, the members took readings of pulse, pressure and oxygenation. Everything is fine, we are working according to plan.
The guides: Alexey Lonchinsky and Ratmir Mukhametzyanov.

Buenas Dias from the "Let's get a Llama" team! We did it! There is a peak of Chachani 6057! We had an amazing final two days. Yesterday we went to the Kolka Canyon — the second deepest canyon in the world, located in the valley of the Kolka River. Thousands of giant terraces, where the local population has been growing potatoes and cereals for hundreds of years, makes an incredible impression!
Then, we went to watch condors in a place called Cruz del Condor, where these giant birds are attracted by unusual air currents. They took off from nowhere and hovered over our heads — a fantastic sight! In the afternoon we managed to swim in the hot springs, and in the evening our team moved to the Base Camp of the Chachani volcano. At night we stormed and successfully climbed one of the iconic peaks of Peru — Mount of Brave.
I would like to say that on this trip we discovered Peru from almost all sides, starting from gastronomic pleasures, cultural attractions of the ancient Inca civilization, ending with the most beautiful peaks of the Southern Andes!
Friends, join our next trip to Peru this fall! You will definitely not regret it!
Your Daria Sivova and Boris Egorov are in touch!

Hello everyone from Peru!
For three whole days we had no communication, and by the way, a lot of interesting things happened. Looking ahead, you can congratulate us on the first peak of our program — we have successfully ascended the Peak of Maria 5550m!
It all started with the Rainbow Mountains and a mini ascent of Vinikunka 5036m. Unfortunately, we were not very lucky with the weather and we practically did not see the most important Rainbow Mountain. However, after the descent, when we continued trekking to our first camp, we were able to see the Rainbow Mountains in all its glory!
Our first stop was the Ausangate Lagoon, and after that — the Base Camp of Maria Peak — our first ascent in the Peruvian Andes. It was one of the most picturesque treks: herds of alpacas, snowy peaks, mountain rivers and endless steppes of the Southern Andes.
Last night we launched an assault on Maria Peak. The ascent was not easy. Local guides decided to take a shortcut through a rocky pass, which turned out to be quite dangerous. But thanks to the experience of our super-guide Boris Egorov, we were able to safely pass through this pass and climb to the top.
In the evening we went down to the hot springs in the village of Pakchanta, from where we went back to Cuzco. Today we are flying to the cultural capital of Arequipa, where we will continue the program.
The guides Boris Egorov and Daria Sivova are in touch.

Buenas Diaz from Peru! The 7 Summits Club has already started the season in South America! Greetings from the land of the ancient Incas — Peru! The country has been closed for almost 3 years due to the pandemic. But we are happy to announce that now Peru welcomes tourists, and the 7 Summits Club opens a new incredible destination.
One of the most interesting and intense programs begins — "Adventures in the Peruvian Andes". We are waiting for Machu Picchu, the Rainbow Mountains, the cultural capital of Arequipa and its Valley of Volcanoes with an ascent on the six thousandth Chachani.
Today the whole group is finally gathered in the ancient Inca capital of Cuzco. And tomorrow we start our incredible adventure with the extreme Star Lodge Hotel.
Follow us, it will be interesting!
Daria Sivova is in touch, and very soon, super-guide Boris Egorov will join us!

⁃ More than 130km has been covered;
⁃ Maximum height reached: Gondogoro Pass 5480m;
⁃ Longest crossing of Khuspang-Khushe: 26km.
But the most important thing is the team that has come all this way together!
We discovered the most beautiful places in Pakistan, which took your breath away. We have passed paths that only a few people have walked. Wild and pristine.
Now our team has finally agreed that you need to go trekking to the K2 Base Camp at least once in your life! And this is the most beautiful trekking in the world!
The group "Me and my young team" led by the highly experienced guide Viktor Volodin entered the walking part of the route on July 6, 2023. First day - transfer to Jula camp (3300 m). The route ran along the Braldu River.
July 7. Transfer to Paiju Camp (3383m). A rocky, sometimes dusty trail rises from the riverbed to the Paiju Glacier. Along the way, there is a view of Paiju Peak (6,600 m) and the Cathedral Towers (6,017 m).
July 8. Exit to the glacier and trek to the Urdukas camp 4050m. The longest march. Rain and lack of visibility prevented seeing the famous Trango and Muztag Towers.
July 9. Trek to the other side of the glacier to the Goro II camp. The weather has improved, some views have opened (Broad Rick, Gasherbrum -IV) M. Goro II is located at an altitude of 4382 m.

Salaam from the group "Me and my young team" from Ascole! Today we went to the alpine settlement of Askole at an altitude of 3300m. The journey was not fast — more than 6 hours on off-road vehicles on a serpentine through rivers. There are few places where you can get such an experience!
The road ran along the Valley of the Shigar River. Dust and stones were replaced by a riot of green color. You drive along the serpentine, all around are sheer cliffs, rocks and the dirty Shigar River ... and roses from nowhere ... and then green oases of firs, apple trees and apricot trees.
Ascole is a place where civilization has not reached. In addition to well-equipped camps for climbers, the simple life of the Pakistani people flows here.
By the way, the people here are incredibly colorful. Men and children are happy to allow themselves to be photographed, but not women. Women hide and ask to pass by. We have set up our first tent camp and are preparing for tomorrow's march to Jola Camp. The transfer from Ascole to Jola Camp will take 6-7 hours, 17-18 km. It's too early to say, but so far trekking to K2 can compete in beauty with trekking to the Everest Base Camp.
P.S. The GenKa2 climbing team is looking forward to us at the Base Camp, which is very nice!
Most likely, today we are the last day with a stable Internet. Wish us good luck and stay tuned!
Viktor Volodin and Daria Sivova are in touch.

The group "Me and my young team" from Skardu are in touch! We got the permits! Hurray! Tomorrow morning we will start to Askole by jeeps. And the day after tomorrow — we have a transfer to Jola Camp.
Unfortunately, most likely tomorrow is the last day when we will have a stable connection. According to the plan, we should arrive at the K2 Base Camp on July 11.
And what happened today? To be honest, it's even good that we stayed in Skardu for another day, because today we visited the Deosai National Park. Deosai, or the Shadow of a Giant, is the second highest high—altitude plateau in the world, 4300m. Acclimatization was successful! The climb is 2000 meters. In a word, we are well done!
We will not paint for a long time about the beauty of this place. Photos will say everything for themselves!
