Greetings from the slopes of Elbrus! Today, our supergroup has decided on the name, and now we are "Proseco 5642". Today we went up to our assault camp, where we learned how to put on crmpons and alpine systems. After that, they went to the area of the Refuge of 11, where they held snow classes. We learned how to walk properly on a snowy slope, also mastered movement in ropes and the most interesting thing, worked out the skill of self-arrest using an ice axe. The weather and the condition of the group are excellent.

Svetlana Kotlyar, Guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from the Elbrus region:

Greetings from the KABACHKI team from Elbrus!  We are continuing our acclimatization program. Today, after breakfast, we packed our bags, registered the group with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and took a cable car up to the Gara-Bashi station. It was a little cloudy in the morning, but still Grandpa Elbrus greeted us!

We settled into a high-altitude refuge, learned how to properly put on high-altitude boots and crampons, and moved towards Refuge of 11 for snow and ice classes.

By lunchtime, clouds covered the mountain, hail began, but still we managed to work out actively: we learned how to use an ice axe correctly, mastered the technique of self-arrst on the slope, practiced moving along the fixed ropes.

In general, the acclimatization program is going according to plan!

Downstairs, a delicious lunch was waiting for us, prepared by the caring hands of our alpine chef Olga Demina. The guys are absolutely delighted with the service!

Now we are resting and preparing for tomorrow's trip to the Pastukhov Rocks.

Greetings to all from the Elbrus region from the ZUCCHINI group! Yesterday we checked into our beautiful hotel "Povorot", and today there was the first acclimatization rotation to the slopes of Mount Cheget.

We walked along a beautiful forest path to an altitude of 2700. We walked cheerfully — after all, our goal was to reach the famous Ai cafe to taste the legendary pies and ayran with lingonberry jam.

We quickly went down, had lunch and went to the rental to get the necessary equipment for climbing. The team is great, we've only known each other for the second day, but we've already managed to rally and make friends! Tomorrow we will continue our acclimatization program and climb the Gara Bashi, on the slopes of Elbrus.

We walked slowly, it was good that the weather allowed us to do so.  So, we went up to the camp, which is located on a slope, and therefore places for a tent are limited. But we were lucky, they put up a large tent, with tables and benches, where you can comfortably sit and eat well. The well-being of the band members is good, everyone is resting. Tomorrow we will move to an altitude of 6100 meters, to the Third Camp.

Greetings from Tehran! Yesterday (July 2) the Persian Lions group stood in full force at the top of Damavand! The weather conditions continue to surprise us. It was the third ascent in a row, which took place in difficult conditions, in fog and with strong winds. It should be noted that such weather is unusual for Damavand at this time of the year. And this makes this ascent an even more significant achievement. At the last moment, the exit to the assault was again postponed to 23.00, up to a height of 5,200 m we walked in one group. Then we split into two.  The "fast ones" broke away for half an hour, but stayed at the top to take a general group photo - team spirit, what else can you say! Of course, it was not easy, of course, everyone was tired, but the memory of achieving the goal in such conditions will remain with us for the rest of our lives. We are proud of the Team with a capital letter! Guides Evgeny Fedyunin and Valery Myasoedov.

One of the key elements of the training was the ability to stop falling in the snow on your own, which allows you to avoid potential injuries.
