News of the Elbrus region. The group "Manuls" has started a program of preparation for the ascent on Elbrus. Today we went to the Ai cafe, on Cheget. The path passed first along a forest, which then turned into alpine meadows. The weather is hot, summer. Along the way, we had stunning views of the surrounding summits and, of course, of Elbrus. After lunch, we visited the rental, took the missing equipment for climbing. Tomorrow we will go to the slope of Elbrus, where we will continue acclimatization and preparation for the ascent.

Greetings to all from Tanzania from the Amateurs group! Today our group in full ascended the summit of Kilimanjaro. Yesterday we went up to Kibo camp, where there was no communication at all. So there was no way to share with you our worries before climbing.

And at midnight we went out to climb. The assault day on the Marangu route is quite difficult, and it was not easy for all of us. But we managed. And by the evening we went down to the Horombo camp at 3700.

"Greetings from the Base Camp in Moskvin's Glade, which is located in distant Tajikistan! We are already warm and safe, and on August 3 we stood at Summit of the Peak of Communism (7495 m) — the highest point of the Soviet Union!

The ascent was not easy: the Base Camp - Summit - Base Camp route takes 8-9 days, but successful acclimatization, competent planning, and most importantly, the weather factor were on our side. It was the right decision to unite with other groups on the day of the assault, snow this year is waist-deep almost all over the route, a small group cannot overcome such an obstacle.

19 people stormed out of Camp 4 under Dushanbe Peak at an altitude of 7000 m. Up to 7400 m we walked all together, and then our group, having passed the most difficult section first, reached the Crest and at 12.40 (local time) were the first to reach Summit!

The panorama from the Roof of the World, as the Pamirs are called, was amazing! Imagine, our 8000 Club flag didn't even need to be stretched, it was almost calm... This doesn't happen very often.

There was no limit to the delight and emotions of our Anastasia Panfilova!  She managed to make both peaks this season: the Peak of Korzhenevskaya and the Peak of Communism. The photos turned out great, for the first time I decided to number them so that our friends of the 7 Summits Club and the 8000 Club could appreciate the beauty of each moment"

Buenas Dias from the "Let's get a Llama" team! We did it! There is a peak of Chachani 6057! We had an amazing final two days. Yesterday we went to the Kolka Canyon — the second deepest canyon in the world, located in the valley of the Kolka River. Thousands of giant terraces, where the local population has been growing potatoes and cereals for hundreds of years, makes an incredible impression!

Then, we went to watch condors in a place called Cruz del Condor, where these giant birds are attracted by unusual air currents. They took off from nowhere and hovered over our heads — a fantastic sight! In the afternoon we managed to swim in the hot springs, and in the evening our team moved to the Base Camp of the Chachani volcano. At night we stormed and successfully climbed one of the iconic peaks of Peru — Mount of Brave.

I would like to say that on this trip we discovered Peru from almost all sides, starting from gastronomic pleasures, cultural attractions of the ancient Inca civilization, ending with the most beautiful peaks of the Southern Andes!

Friends, join our next trip to Peru this fall! You will definitely not regret it!

Greetings to all from Tanzania from the Amateurs group!  Today we had a day of acclimatization and rest. In the morning we took a walk to the famous Zebra Rocks - rocks that look like a zebra's ass. The walk took place with wonderful views of the surroundings and the clouds below us. After tea at the rocks, we decided to climb a little higher. There, from where the view of summit of Kilimanjaro opened and it was possible to see the route along which we would climb to.

After lunch at the camp, we had an introduction ceremony with the team, which, as usual, was accompanied by cheerful songs and dances.

Hello everyone from Tanzania!  It's only been a couple of days since climbing Kilimanjaro, and now a new group has gathered at the foot of this mountain to begin their journey to the top.

This time our way will take the Marangu route - the most comfortable route to Kilimanjaro. But in order not to relax too much, the weather sent us rain. Almost all the way to the first hut we walked either in the drizzling rain, or through the humid jungle, shrouded in fog. However, this did not upset us much.

While our group is still choosing a name for itself, it is getting used to new conditions. For most of the group, this ascent is the first mountain experience. So many amazing discoveries are waiting for us.

Then there was a descent to the assault camp, where we rested a little, packed up and went to the base camp. Tonight we will spend the night at the base camp.

Hello everyone from Peru!

For three whole days we had no communication, and by the way, a lot of interesting things happened. Looking ahead, you can congratulate us on the first peak of our program — we have successfully ascended the Peak of Maria 5550m!

It all started with the Rainbow Mountains and a mini ascent of Vinikunka 5036m. Unfortunately, we were not very lucky with the weather and we practically did not see the most important Rainbow Mountain. However, after the descent, when we continued trekking to our first camp, we were able to see the Rainbow Mountains in all its glory!

Our first stop was the Ausangate Lagoon, and after that — the Base Camp of Maria Peak — our first ascent in the Peruvian Andes. It was one of the most picturesque treks: herds of alpacas, snowy peaks, mountain rivers and endless steppes of the Southern Andes.

Last night we launched an assault on Maria Peak. The ascent was not easy. Local guides decided to take a shortcut through a rocky pass, which turned out to be quite dangerous. But thanks to the experience of our super-guide Boris Egorov, we were able to safely pass through this pass and climb to the top.

In the evening we went down to the hot springs in the village of Pakchanta, from where we went back to Cuzco.   Today we are flying to the cultural capital of Arequipa, where we will continue the program.

The guides Boris Egorov and Daria Sivova are in touch.

This morning our team left the base camp and began the long journey back home. They will have to walk the familiar path along the Baltoro glacier to Ascole, the first settlement to which the highway approaches. We remind you that on July 27 and 28, two teams of the 7 Summits Club and the 8000 Club ascended to the top of K2 in the number of 8 participants, 2 high-altitude operators and 10 Sherpas. There are 20 people under the leadership of Lyudmila Korobeshko. The ascent took place in bad weather, with a poor condition of the route. A lot of material has been shot for the future film "The Høïð Altitude Gene 2. K2". We are waiting for the heroes at home!
