Svetlana Kotlyar, manager of the 7 Summits Club, from the Crimea:

Today, the managers and guides of the 7 Summits Club have arrived in Yalta! We settled in a comfortable hotel and went to Mount Koshka, located near the village of Simeiz.

Crimea was greeted us with fresh sea air and warm rocks! After a small picnic, we divided into groups and climbed several short climbing routes under the guidance of our best guides — Lyudmila Korobeshko, Viktor Volodin, Boris Egorov, Natalia Kartashova.

For some participants, this experience was the first in their life!

In the evening: dinner, swimming in the sea and evening gatherings with conversations and songs with the guitar.  Tomorrow we are heading for Via Ferrata!

In the program "Seven volcanoes" there is an absolutely definite main mountain. This is Mount Sidley. The most remote volcano from civilization, ascents on which are not organized every year.  And no more than one group per season. In January 2022, the group of climbers will be headed by the director of the 7 Summits Club, the incomparable Lyudmila Korobeshko, who will "close" the Seven Volcanoes program. As a rule, all applications for a trip to Antarctica stop being accepted on September 1. Then you can only hope for someone's cancelation. Now is such a case! The lucky one is waiting for a completely unusual journey, the adventure of whole life, and even in a wonderful company.

January 6 - January 21. Guide: Lyudmila Korobeshko

We moved from the Alti Hut refuge to the 3765 m  Meteostation. The route passes through a moraine and a glacier. We were overtaken by horses and people carrying loads. As soon as we arrived at the Meteotation, a hurricane started and snow fell.  But we live well at the shelter. There is a great restaurant here.  Tomorrow – a new acclimatization climbing rotation.

Thank you to the Ukrainian team who left us handmade chocolates!

The weather is very windy. Yesterday and today, more than 10 teams were unable to climb the summit of Mount Kazbek.

Now we spend a night at an altitude of 3200 in a super-comfortable refuge. Tomorrow, twe climb to the refuge Meteostation.  All the participants are healthy and cheerful, our team is super!

Boris Egorov, a guide of the 7 Summits Club, from Greece:

Hello everyone!  For two days, our team climbed in one of the most beautiful places in Greece called Meteora. There are huge pillars about 300 meters high, some of them are occupied by active monasteries. This whole natural and man-made complex is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The rock is a conglomerate, and quite fragile, it is necessary to climb carefully, since almost any stone can, if desired, simply be removed from the wall. An additional difficulty is that the belay on bolts is quite rare (5-6 meters between the points) and you can additionally belay only in rare crevices or by throwing loops on all the same protruding unreliable stones.

We made 3 climbs, and I managed to make one parachute jump from one of the walls.
