Huge Antarctic greetings to all! The day before yesterday, having caught a sunny windless weather window, the whole team climbed to the top of the Mount Vinson, yesterday we already went down to the base camp and today, squeezing into the weather window again, we safely flew to the comfortable Union Glacier. And then we were reunited with the team of Luda Korobeshko, who returned from the summit of the Sidley volcano.

Alexander Abramov, President of the 7 Summits Club, reports from the USA:

 Today is the day of preparation for the start of the Transglobal Car expedition in New York. We held a meeting, visited the New York Motorists Club, and walked around Manhattan in the evening.

Lyudmila Korobeshko, a guide and director of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Antarctica:

January 8th. Greetings from Antarctica, the Union Glacier Camp from the Empanadas group, the Sidley expedition! As you already know, we have successfully climbed the summit of our dreams - Sidley. And, since we were in Antarctica, we decided to fly to the South Pole. The guys spent the night right at the Pole and happily returned to Union today. Now we are here waiting for our departure to the Mainland.

 And now another group of our club has just returned from Vinson. A couple of days ago, they successfully climbed the summit under the guidance of our Antarctic super-guide Artem Rostovtsev.

So now we are having a joint gala dinner and celebrating our victories.

Olga Rumyantseva, a guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Tanzania:

Hello everyone from Tanzania! The swim of the Red Suitcases group to the highest peak in Africa continues. However, in the morning the weather decided to pamper us. The sun appeared. So we managed to dry things out a bit before we set off on our way.

Today we were waiting for a climb up the Baranko wall. Here we are lucky again. There was no rain while we were climbing the wall. And there were no traffic jams from the people familiar in this place.

There are surprisingly few tourists willing to climb Kilimanjaro right now. But as soon as we passed the wall and sat down to drink tea, the rain did not keep us waiting. So we descended from the Baranko wall under a torrential icy rain with hail. All the paths turned into mud streams. All streams turn into stormy rivers. The surrounding landscapes are decorated with dozens of waterfalls. Overall, it is very beautiful. It's just wet and cold. But we are not discouraged. We enjoy every hour without rain. Now we are resting in Karanga camp, trying to dry things before tomorrow's climbing to the assault camp.

Andrey Berezin, a guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Argentina:

Buenos Dias from the slopes of Aconcagua! Our friendly company "Gatito Luis" left the hospitable Confluencia camp and went to the base camp of Plaza de Mulas. This is a serious test, as the distance is quite long: 19 km. We walked the first half of the way with a strong headwind, practically not gaining altitude. The second part of the path is shorter, but steeper. The result: a 9-hour walk from one camp to another. In Mulas we have the best conditions: comfortable double cabins, a separate dining room. We had steaks for dinner. Tomorrow we rest and recuperate. The group's guides are Andrey Berezin and Sergey Avtomonov.

Congratulations!  On January 4, Lyudmila Korobeshko, Oleg Pipkov, Nikolai Tomchak and Evgeny Fedorov completed the Seven Volcanoes program with a successful ascent on Sidley Volcano.  We are waiting for your return!

 We are not surprised that there are so many Russians on the list of climbers to all the highest volcanoes on all continents ("Seven Volcanoes"). The secret is very simple. In a practical sense, this program was brought to life on a global scale thanks to the idea and activities of Alexander Abramov, as well as the entire 7 Summits Club. Russians visited Sidley Volcano exclusively as part of our groups, or joined mixed teams on our behalf.

Hello, Seven Summits! This is Artem Rostovtsev. We are currently at Vinson Base Camp. We've already gone down. Everyone is alive, healthy and happy. Yesterday there was the summit. Now we are waiting here for someone else from the teams that are going up now, on the descent. When the plane will be completed we will to the Union Glacier. We hope to be at Union Glacier tomorrow afternoon and meet with our Sidley team there. Greetings from the snowy Antarctica!

The Machines Group sends greetings from the most comfortable camp on Laguna Verde! Today we moved to 4300, where we will spend most of the expedition. We went for a ride on cars, had a good walk up to 5000 and drove to the hot springs to wash away the sand that clogs everywhere! The sun is pleasing, but it is very windy. Tomorrow, according to the plan, we are going for a walk to the Atacama shelter, to walk and acclimatize. Everything is according to plan.

Lyudmila Korobeshko, the group guide and director of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Antarctica:

On January 4, our team climbed the highest volcano in Antarctica - Sidley (4265m). The mountain turned out to be much difficult than we expected. The assault from camp (2900) to camp (2900) took about 13 hours.

But they set several records at once. 4 people completed the Seven Volcanoes project. Now the list of Russians who climbed 7 Volcanoes has grown from 8 to 12 people. There are 43 people in the World, Russia is far ahead of everyone! Our "new seven volcanoes": Nikolai Tomchak, Oleg Pipkov, Evgeny Fedorov and I, Lyudmila Korobeshko. The first Kazakhstani is Yura Lukyanov at the top of Sidley.

For Sergey Vasiliev, this is the sixth volcano out of seven. And there is a chance that he will also complete the project soon, since after Sidley he is going straight to Ojos del Salado. Sidley became the sixth of seven volcanoes for Igor Rebelsky, and the fifth for Andrey Kravchenko. Another participant of the trip, Vladimir Solovyov, gave us a great meeting at the assault camp and filmed the best reports about our ascent.

In the spring, we plan to hold a party where we will present special medals for 7 Volcanoes in a solemn atmosphere.

Hello, Seven Summits! This is Artem Rostovtsev, climbing the Vinson Massive. We are now at High Camp, an assault camp. ... It so happened that we got here on time and then found the strength to climb to the top. We have already descended from the summit and we have a second night in the assault camp. And tomorrow we plan to get to the base camp, hoping to fly to Union Glacier. Greetings to all from snowy, cold Antarctica!

Greetings from Tanzania from the group "Red suitcases" from the slopes of Kilimanjaro! Today we moved to the Shira camp at an altitude of 3,800 meters. Despite the terrifying forecasts, we were very lucky with the weather. The rain soaked us quite a bit.

Therefore, our journey, during which we could observe the change of natural zones and the appearance of amazing plants, was pleasant and beautiful. After we arrived at the camp, we had lunch and went for a short walk, during which we looked at the cave and a little at the snow-covered slopes of Kilimanjaro.

And then we had an introduction ceremony with the local team, during which everyone sang and danced. In general, it was fun. In the evening, the clouds stretched out, and we saw Kilimanjaro in all its glory.

The guide of the 7 Summits Club Andrey Berezin reports from Argentina:

Buenos Dias from sunny Argentina! The Gatitos Luis group reports from the Confluencia camp.  Yesterday we leisurely walked a few hours to the Plaza Confluence. This is an intermediate camp in front of the Plaza de Mulas Base Camp.  We will spend two nights here. This morning we went towards the Place France, climbed up to 4000 m. There was a strong wind at the top, gusts up to 40 km/h. We are back at the camp now.  We have a medical check in the evening, and tomorrow we go to Mulas.

Hello everyone! This is Lyudmila Korobeshko, the expedition to Sidley. Now we are already at the Sidley base camp. The day before yesterday we successfully went to the top and yesterday we went down from the High Camp to the base camp. We're going to fly to Union today. And then the guys had a new idea.  Our program ends on January 10th, when we are scheduled to fly to Punta Arenas. So, we have 4 free days. We decided to fly to the South Pole to celebrate Christmas there.

Nikita Slotin, the guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Chile:

Greetings to all from the Tres Cruces National Park from the "Machines" group!  Today we left the ocean coast and climbed the mountains, drove to an altitude of 4000 and descended to 3600 to the shelter and pink lake (Laguna Rosa), where flamingos live! We set up our large dining room, had a delicious dinner and are now relaxing, enjoying the views. It's windy but sunny! All participants feel well. Tomorrow, according to the plan, there will be an acclimatization ascent to the summit of the Seven Brothers.

Alexander Dorojukov, a guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Argentina:
Buenos dias from the Sandia alegre band! Our preparatory period has come to an end, yesterday we climbed the Nido De Condores altitude 5500m and spent the night there for acclimatization. We watched a beautiful sunset. Now the group is already in the base camp, we are resting and preparing to climb to the summit of Aconcagua.

Hello everyone from Tanzania! The first group did not have time to leave, as the second group of those wishing to climb Kilimanjaro had already arrived. This time we have a large team, which decided to start by calling itself "Red Suitcases".
So, today we started our journey, starting from the gates of the national park and reaching the Machame camp at an altitude of 3000 meters. It had been raining since the morning, which accompanied us almost the whole way. Only at the end did it stop, and even the sun came out. The weather is disgusting, that's for sure. The forecasts are disappointing. But we do not lose optimism and try to have fun to the fullest.

Buenos Dias! Argentina is in touch. The group "Gatito Luis" gathered in Mendoza and went to the foot of Mount Aconcagua. We spent the night in glamping Orcones. We met with Alexander Abramov, who returned from the slopes of Aconcagua. The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Sergey Avtomonov.

Yesterday, Viktor Volodin's Alpaca group made a successful ascent to Maria Peak with a height of 5500m! The weather conditions were difficult, but all the participants successfully climbed to the top and descended! Today, the group flies to the white city of Arequipa.

Greetings to all from the Pacific coast from the group "Machines" ("Cars")! Today we met everyone who did not arrive yesterday. We also made our cars recognizable from afar, enjoyed the freshest scallops, rested, checked our equipment, discussed plans for tomorrow and had a good evening. Tomorrow we leave the bay and set out on our journey to the world's highest volcano. The first stop on the way is Santa Rosa Lagoon, where, hopefully, we will see pink flamingos.
