Two groups of the 7 Summits Club continue their acclimatization rotation in the Elbrus area with guides Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov. On the second day, all two groups went by cable car to the Refuge National Park. The weather in the morning was fine, clear and sunny.  But after in afternoon the weather worsened. Groups members had training sessions on snow slopes: climbing in crampons, self-arrest, moving along fixed ropes. The programs continue, and tomorrow they plan to go up to the Pastukhov Rocks.

The group of the 7 Summits Club under the guidance of Andrey Berezin climbed the Western peak of Mount Elbrus today. The weather was unusually warm and windless. Congratulations to the whole group on the ascent, we wish you new routes and new summits!

We went up at a good pace, took beautiful photos and went down to the refuge. Tomorrow we have a rest day and preparation for the ascent according to the plan.

Today we went up to the Ai cafe on the slope of Mount Cheget. The group was going at a good pace, we got a huge boost of energy. The weather was good. Tomorrow we will climb to the Refuge National Park and continue preparing for the Elbrus ascent.

Three groups of the 7 Summits Club climbed Mount Elbrus. Guides Andrey Berezin, Alexander Dorojukov and Boris Egorov climbed with groups. All the participants of the groups safely reached the top and went down. The weather conditions were not easy. In the area of the summit, the wind gusts reached 50 km/h. At the same time, the guides of the 7 Summits Club have updated the safety fixed ropes that ensure the safety of climbers. In the future, we plan to continue to create and maintain security on the Southern slope of Elbrus.

Three groups of the 7 Summits Club climbed the Pastukhov Rocks and completed the acclimatization rotation before climbing Elbrus. The 7 Summits Club guide Andrey Berezin: The weather favored us. A slight wind and clouds in the vicinity did not prevent us from reaching our goal. Also today, after several days of bad weather, a large number of teams went to the ascent at once, and this is about 500 people. Two groups of the 7 Summits Club climbed Elbrus under the guidance of Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov.

After several days of bad weather, a weather window was formed today. And two groups of the 7 Summits Club successfully climbed the Western Peak of Elbrus. Andrey Berezin, guide of the 7 Summits Club: The group "Dreamers" today, in the process of preparing for the ascent, climbed on the Pastukhov Rocks. The weather did not indulge us today. Since the morning, there was a  fine snow from a large cloud. It was accompanied by wind gusts of 30 km/h. However, this did not affect the acclimatization process, and we climbed the Pastukhov Rocks. Now the group is resting on the refuge. Tomorrow we have a day of rest and preparation for the ascent according to the plan.

In the afternoon, we made an acclimatization outing to the area of Old Refuge Eleven, where we conducted snow and ice training sessions.  They mastered the skills of self-arrest with an ice pick, moving in crampons on the slope, and also learned how to move on fix ropes. Tomorrow, according to the plan, there will be an acclimatization rotation to the Pastukhov Rocks. The group guides are Andrey Berezin and Boris Yegorov.

The summer season on Elbrus began quite intensively. On Monday, two more our groups began their acclimatization rotation. The group with the guide Alexander Dorojukov went up to the waterfall Devichy kosy. A large group of "Dreamers" with guides Andrey Berezin and Boris Yegorov climbed the slopes of Mount Cheget. The weather finally improved, and the participants were able to admire the snow-capped mountains and  majestic domes of Elbrus.

After several days of waiting for a weather window, on June 5, in severe weather conditions, the group named "Platoon of easy Behavior" climbed the Western summit of Elbrus. Wind, snow, frost - all this did not affect the mood of the participants. At 8: 30, the first part of the group was at the top.

A cyclone came from Turkey, and with it a strong wind, sometimes up to 50 km / h and snow. The team confirmed its name "Platoon of easy behavior", we made an acclimatization climb to the Pastukhov Rocks. Tomorrow, according to the plan, there will be a day of rest and preparation for the summit ascent.

News from the Elbrus region. The group led by the guide Andrey Berezin yesterday climbed on the top of Elbrus. After several days of bad weather, the day of the ascent was clear and sunny. From the summit, we had a stunning view of the Main Caucasian Ridge and the surrounding area.

This morning we went to the Azau station, from where we went by cable car to the refuge National Park. There we were met by the hospitable Zulya and fed a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we went to the snow and ice training sessions in the area of the former Refuge Eleven. Tomorrow we plan to climb to the Pastukhov Rocks. Group guide Andrey Berezin.

Today, the joined group of the 7 Summits Club climbed Western Peak of Mount Elbrus. The weather was favorable for us this time. From the top, we had an impressive view of the surrounding expanse. The group guides are Andrey Berezin and Nikita Slotin.

On Elbrus, the weather is bad now: fog and precipitation.  Today, three groups of the 7 Summits Club reached the refuge “National Park” and settled in cabins.  They even had to dig up one of the cabins. After lunch, all the groups simultaneously went to snow and ice training sessions at an altitude of 4200 meters. The participants worked out interaction in a group, self-arrest with an ice axe, as well as movement on inclined fixed ropes. Tomorrow all groups plan to climb the Pastukhov Rocks.

Andrey Berezin, a guide of the 7 Summits Club:  Greetings to all from the group "Danibat"!  Today we have reached the ultimate goal of our program -Everest Base Camp.  We visited the expedition camp of the 7 Summits Club, where we were warmly welcomed by the camp Sherpa team and the leader Alexander Abramov. On the way back, we met the members of the Everest expedition. And in Gorak Shep, we also met the participants of the Lhotse expedition.  Today was the most emotional day of the entire program.  The weather, after two days of snowfall, changed to sunny.  It was nice to visit the Everest base camp.  Tomorrow we will start our journey back to Lukla.

News from Namche Bazar, the Sherpa capital, from the Danibat group. Today we walked around the neighborhood, visited the memorial to the climbers, and then climbed to the Japanese hotel Everest. There we tried the local cuisine. By lunchtime, the sky was overcast and it was snowing. So we decided to go back down to Namche Bazar, where by this time it had started to rain. Tomorrow we leave the cozy Namche Bazaar and move towards the village of Dale, and then towards the Gokyo Lakes.
